Ultrafine high quality pigment for modelling. The definitive collection of pigments designed exclusively for modelers. A series of basic necessary and frequently used colors mixable between. AK Interactive pigments are much finer than any of the existing products on the market and contain nearly 3 times the quantity of other leading brands at a lower price. These pigments can be applied either dry of wet depending on your taste and the goal you try to achieve. Mix them with Pigment Fixer or White Spirit to apply them wet. When you decide to apply the pigments dry you can later fix them in place with either Pigment Fixer or White spirit.

Light rust wash is indicated for rust effects on all kind of surfaces. Perfect for any rust effects on vehicles or accessories. It has a light rusty color, which stands out really well on dark greens giving a great realistic matt finish. It is perfect for amphibious or normal vehicles in wet environments. Also great for doing rusting effects on abandoned vehicles. The basic technique used to weather any type of model is the wash, a classic technique that is still one of the most used techniques in modelling today. Apply the washes after shaking the bottle with a large brush to pick out details and creating shadows.The excess of the wash can be easily removed with a clean brush and White Spirit.

Recommended product to adhere pigments to the surfaces of your models and bases. Use capillary effect to allow fluid to flow over pigment powder. Once dried, pigments are permanently adhered to the surface and return to dry color.

These enamel paints are ideal for highlighting panel lines and other details to give your model a more realistic depth. The paint has been pre-diluted into the ideal viscosity and can be easily applied into crevasses such as panel lines with the brush on the bottle cap. Enamel type streaking for modelling. Create realistic dirt streaks and grime effects easily with this dirty color. This enamel product creates realistic streaking grime effects on your models. Easy to apply. Very realistic coloristic color. Shake well before use. Apply your streak with a fine pointed brush in irregular vertical lines from upper parts on sides and let the paint dry for about 10 minutes. Next take a flat brush moisted in White Spirit and swipe with little pressure over the earlier applied streak to soften the effect and create a natural look. Easily imitate the streaking dirt for example in a Dark Yellow or Grey paint, using this color. Use a fine brush to draw the lines and a thick flat brush dampened with White Spirit to stump the lines.The colour formula of this reference has changed and it presents a slighly green tone in the bottle, but keeps being primarily brown when dry.

Extreme Rust Wash especially suitable for recreating reddish rust effects on different surfaces. Washing is the application of a diluted paint in an area, crevice, nook or contour to define and highlight that area. Unlike a filter, the paint is more concentrated. These techniques for defining models and figures are easier and more effective than thinned acrylic paints, especially on large surfaces, as they dry too quickly, can leave the dreaded rims and flow less in difficult areas due to the surface tension of the water.
