Tamiya 60795 1/72 Grumman F...
$66.95
From the 1970s until its retirement in 2006, the F-14 Tomcat was a fearsome carrier fighter with its powerful radar and long-range missiles. Originally designed for carrier air defense, in the 1990s it was also tabbed for ground attack work on account of its superior payload capacity and range. At the end of that decade Tomcats became capable of long-range surgical strikes with LANTIRN pod and laser-guided bombs. The F-14D inherited its F110-GE-400 engines from the F-14B, and was given a new digital radar system whose faster processing times and enhanced capability turned the Tomcat into a true multi-role fighter also capable of ground attack and reconnaissance missions. The F-14D was delivered to units from 1992 and was active in Afghanistan and Iraq; it was a vital cog in the Navy machine until it was retired in 2006.

1/24 Scale Mastercard Savanna RX-7
Tamiya welcomes an updated re-issue of Item 24016 1/24 Mazda Savanna RX-7 (originally sold in 1981: motorized at that time) with changed C Parts molding color (changed from black to brown), updated decals, instruction manual and packaging, plus newly-included masking stickers. The Mazda Savanna RX-7 made its debut in 1978, and the car featured sleek lines on its lightweight monocoque body with low-profile nose and retractable headlights. A two-rotor rotary engine was capable of 130hp, and the front midship layout gave the car optimum weight distribution, which was one of the secrets to its exemplary handling. In 1980, Mazda gave the RX-7 a minor model change, making the SE Limited model the most luxurious of the four types on offer. Creature comforts such as the sunroof and bucket type leather seats were joined by aluminum wheels, while lightening the car by over 30 kilograms and refining its nose further improved fuel efficiency. This car spawned a legion of rotary engine fans and is an integral part of Mazda’s history.

Featuring a lightweight monocoque frame with aluminum panels and powered by a 90-degree V12 engine, the RA273 was driven by Ginther and Ronnie Bucknum, before the legendary John Surtees took over for the first six races of 1967, earning a podium finish at the South African GP that opened the season.

Tamiya 35392 1/35 German 5c...
$32.95
First delivered to units in July 1940, the Pak 38 5cm was a successor to the 3.7cm Pak 36. It featured design upgrades such as a muzzle brake, aluminum alloy trail legs, and a gun shield composed of two sheets of 4mm plate; using Panzergranate 39 shells it defeated 61mm of 60-degree armor from 500 meters. First deployed in the Balkan theater in Spring 1941, the Pak 38 saw action in areas from the Eastern Front to North Africa and 9,600 of this trusty weapon were manufactured up to 1943.
At the start of WWII, German forces used 3.7cm Pak36 as their main anti-tank gun. The 5cm anti-tank gun Pak38 was developed as the Pak36’s successor and the actual deployment started in July 1940. The Pak38 featured a gun barrel with muzzle brake, a gun mount with torsion bar suspension and aluminum-alloy trail legs, and its gun shield was composed of two 4mm thick armor plates at a 25mm interval. This anti-tank gun had the power to pierce 60-degree, 61 mm-thick armor from 500 meters using Panzergranate 39 shells. Pak38 saw its first action in the Balkan Theater and Operation Barbarossa in 1941. Although the Pak38 could not easily beat the Soviet T34 and KV-1, it helped the army through crisis several times and was essential at the North African Front. About 9,600 units were produced until 1943 and were employed in Infantry Regiments until the end of war.
Tamiya German Anti-Tank gun model kits include Item 35035 (1/35 German 3.7cm Anti-Tank Gun Pak35/36), Item 35047 (1/35 German 7.5cm Anti-Tank Gun Pak40/L46) and Item 35017 (1/35 German 88mm Gun Flak 36/37) This new model offering into the series depicts the German Anti-Tank Gun Pak38 in 1/35 scale.

Perched upon the M10A1 chassis equipped with a 450hp gasoline engine, the M36 employed a new open top turret and a 90mm gun. The M36 saw its first action on the Franco-German border in October 1944 and continued until the German surrender in May 1945. Over 1,000 M36s were deployed among 21 battalions and contributed to the Allied forces’ advance.

$42.99
The Honda Prelude is a Japanese sports car that was first presented to the public in 1978. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 2001. During it, the model was manufactured only in the city of Sayama in Japan. In total, approx. 825 thousand jobs were created. cars of this model.
The Prelude model did not have a direct predecessor in the Honda Motor Company offer, but was developed and put into production in order to fight the market with cars such as Toyota Celica, Nissan Silvia and Mitsubishi Eclipse. The new car was based on many solutions used in the Accord and Civic models. Suffice it to say that the first generation of cars of this type was built on the platform of the Civic II models. This condition did not change until 1982, when the 2nd generation Honda Prelude appeared. Like the models mentioned above, Prelude had a chassis with a self-supporting body. During series production, the car was offered primarily as a 2-door coupe, and the range of engines included engines with a capacity of 1.6 to 2.3 liters.

Tamiya 24031 1/24 Audi Quattro
$44.99
The Audi quattro played a major role in moving four-wheel drive vehicles away from being the strongly exclusive domain of heavy off-road cars. It was one of the stars of the Geneva International Motor Show in 1980; while the body was similar to the Audi Coupé, its flared fenders and spoilers front and rear hinted at its high performance, but its full-time four-wheel drive was naturally the main talking point. Differentials at the front and rear were joined by a center differential in a setup that checked numerous boxes: smooth road driving; superior speed and cornering; and exceptional stability. Power was provided by a 2,144cc inline-five engine with a turbocharger and intercooler that output an impressive 200hp, while the front and rear had MacPherson strut suspension and disc brakes, which were a ventilated design at the front. In 1981 a rally version of the car debuted and took the global circuit by storm, winning multiple races and opening the door for other 4WD rally cars. Its influence was also felt in the road car arena, and while the car itself remains an ageless classic, the “quattro” name is also still used by Audi for its four-wheel drive system.

Tamiya 24194 1/24 Nissan Sk...
$35.95
During the 1960's, the Japanese racing scene was striving to catch up with high performance racing machines of European origin. One manufacturer called Prince developed the first Japanese prototype racing machine, named the R380.
With a powerful-in-line six-cylinder DOHC engine mounted amidships under a low and sleek body, the R380 won the 1996 Japanese Grand Prix race event and earned various world speed records in the following year. The PRINCE company merged with Nissan and unveiled a special 4-door sedan Skyline model during the 1968 Tokyo Motor Show. Priced at almost double that of other Skylines in the stable, it was transplanted with a de-tuned powerplant of the R380 racer's unit. This hot-blooded Skyline was launched into the market in February 1969, under the designation of GT-R. The 1,989cc DOHC 6-cylinder S20 type engine yielded 160hp of maximum output. In October 1970, the original 4-door sedan GT-R was replaced with a sportier, 2-door hard-top model.
Its designation "R" stood for racing, the Skyline GT-R virtually dominated Japanese racing circuits from the late 60's to early 70's. The 4-door and 2-door Skyline 2000 GT-Rs accomplished 50 respectable victories in domestic races during that period, setting up the famous "GT-R legend" among the Japanese motor racing enthusiasts.
