Nissan’s Skyline has been an ambassador for high performance Japanese cars for many a year. The series, which stretches all the way back to 1957, was joined in August 1981 by the sixth generation car that included the sporty 2000 Turbo GT-E S. Possessing a sleek wedge body design and 145hp 2-liter inline-six turbo engine, its 4-wheel independent suspension had front strut and rear semi-trailing setups, disc brakes front and rear, and even switch-operated adjustable shocks with variable stiffness. During WWII, U.S. forces developed the M10 tank destroyer with 76.2mm gun, but it was not effective against powerful German tanks such as the Tiger and Panther. Perched upon the M10A1 chassis equipped with a 450hp gasoline engine, the M36 employed a new open top turret and a 90mm gun. The M36 saw its first action on the Franco-German border in October 1944 and continued until the German surrender in May 1945. Over 1,000 M36s were deployed among 21 battalions and contributed to the Allied forces’ advance. This model assembly kit recreates the U.S. Tank Destroyer M36. The subject was first released in 1968 as a motorized single motor kit. It’s now been recreated from the ground up with new tooling, except for the M2 machine gun and clear parts used in other Tamiya WW2 kits that use these newer parts. This 1/24 scale model assembly kit recreates the all-new 2025 HONDA Prelude. It was first teased at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show as a concept car but finally unveiled as a final product at the Tokyo Auto Salon in April 2025. The 2025 Prelude marks the sixth-generation iteration and makes a comeback after the fifth generation was last sold in 2001. The Japanese Navy's Last Heavy Cruiser The Chikuma was completed in May 1939 as the second ship of the Tone-class. She was the final heavy cruiser to be built by the Japanese Navy and featured a distinctive design which concentrated four twin 20.3cm main gun turrets forward of the bridge in order to allow unimpeded launching of her six floatplanes from the aft deck during battle. Chikuma often accompanied the Japanese Navy's aircraft carriers since her floatplanes provided considerable reconnaissance capabilities to the fleet, and she was present at such important engagements as the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Battle of Midway. She continued to serve valiantly until her demise at the hands of U.S. carrier aircraft during the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October 1944. Features This is a 1/350 scale plastic assembly kit of the Japanese Heavy Cruiser Chikuma. Length: 576mm, Beam: 71mm. The H35 light tank was adopted by the French army for its cavalry units in the middle of the 1930s; the H35 would be the base for the H39 progression, which first appeared in 1939. Its rounded hull made extensive use of cast metal, and it was equipped with a 120hp engine and an L/33 37mm gun. Many had a trench tail to help them overcome enemy fortifications. The H39 was deployed as French forces struggled with the German invasion of 1940, and after the French capitulation, many were taken on by the German forces who made additions such as a commander's cupola in re-classifying it the Pz.Kpfw.38H 735(f). The Porsche 956 flourished at endurance races, and evolved into the Porsche 962C in 1985, being provided to many private teams. The car of Swiss racing team Brun Motorsport featured the distinctive bright orange Jägermeister livery, and was victorious at World Sports Prototype Championship and German races. The Honda Prelude is a Japanese sports car that was first presented to the public in 1978. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 2001. During it, the model was manufactured only in the city of Sayama in Japan. In total, approx. 825 thousand jobs were created. cars of this model. The Prelude model did not have a direct predecessor in the Honda Motor Company offer, but was developed and put into production in order to fight the market with cars such as Toyota Celica, Nissan Silvia and Mitsubishi Eclipse. The new car was based on many solutions used in the Accord and Civic models. Suffice it to say that the first generation of cars of this type was built on the platform of the Civic II models. This condition did not change until 1982, when the 2nd generation Honda Prelude appeared. Like the models mentioned above, Prelude had a chassis with a self-supporting body. During series production, the car was offered primarily as a 2-door coupe, and the range of engines included engines with a capacity of 1.6 to 2.3 liters.

The Audi quattro played a major role in moving four-wheel drive vehicles away from being the strongly exclusive domain of heavy off-road cars. It was one of the stars of the Geneva International Motor Show in 1980; while the body was similar to the Audi Coupé, its flared fenders and spoilers front and rear hinted at its high performance, but its full-time four-wheel drive was naturally the main talking point. Differentials at the front and rear were joined by a center differential in a setup that checked numerous boxes: smooth road driving; superior speed and cornering; and exceptional stability. Power was provided by a 2,144cc inline-five engine with a turbocharger and intercooler that output an impressive 200hp, while the front and rear had MacPherson strut suspension and disc brakes, which were a ventilated design at the front. In 1981 a rally version of the car debuted and took the global circuit by storm, winning multiple races and opening the door for other 4WD rally cars. Its influence was also felt in the road car arena, and while the car itself remains an ageless classic, the “quattro” name is also still used by Audi for its four-wheel drive system. This model kit in 1/20 scale recreates the Toyota Celica LB Turbo Gr. 5 (originally sold as Item 20009 in 1978; not motorized this time) with new Cartograf decals, new slick tires, and instruction manual. The Toyota Celica LB Turbo was a Group 5 car developed for the 1977 DRM (German Racing Championship). Based upon the road car Celica Liftback, the car featured aerodynamic components such as bulging over fenders and rear wing and employed numerous FRP body panels. An extensively modified body and 2,090cc, 560hp inline-4 DOHC turbo engine were utilized for its racing endeavors. Japan's representative sports car, the 6th generation of the Nissan Z was released in December 2008. Although the wheelbase was shortened by 100mm from the previous model, the classis’ long-nose, short-deck design was kept and the fenders were pushed out to create its muscular, athletic look.
