All our products are covered under the Consumer Guarantee and are protected against manufacturing defects for a specific period determined by the manufacturer. This warranty applies when products are used as intended and in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.
For details on the warranty period for your item, please refer to the product manual or instructions.
How to Submit a Warranty Claim
If you’re experiencing an issue with a product and believe it qualifies for warranty repair, replacement, or a refund, please reach out to us via our Contact Us page with the following details:
- Your invoice or order number
- A detailed description of the problem
- Information about how the product was used
- We may require clear photo or video showing the issue
Processing Your Warranty Claim
Many manufacturers have dedicated support centres that can handle warranty claims and technical support efficiently. Depending on your location, we may either facilitate the return to the support centre on your behalf or ask you to send the product directly to them for assessment.
The cost of returning the product for assessment is your responsibility, but Hobbies Online will cover the shipping costs to return the replacement item to you. If a refund is issued instead of a replacement, we may reimburse your return shipping costs if you provide a receipt.
The service technician will inspect the item to determine if the issue falls under warranty and advise on whether a repair, replacement, or refund will be provided.
When a Refund or Exchange is Not Available
A refund or exchange cannot be issued under the following circumstances:
- The product is outside its warranty period.
- The product has not yet been assessed by the manufacturer or distributor.
- The manufacturer determines that the issue is not covered under warranty.
- You changed your mind after using the product.
- You found the same product at a lower price elsewhere.
- You no longer need or want the product.
- The issue was caused by improper use or accidental damage.
- The service was performed in a way you specifically requested against our advice.
We’re here to help! If you have any questions about your purchase or warranty claim, feel free to reach out.
