This is a clay type masking material. The surface would not be oily since it is an aqueous-based polymer clay. There is no need to wait for the clay to dry so the surface can be painted right after. It is easy to mold, and suitable to mask uneven surfaces and create camoufrage patterns. Also suitable for molding.

Updated Bottle - Now 18ml!!! Liquid Mask is used to reserve areas which are to remain unpainted, especially in airbrush techniques. The product forms a protective film on the area which the artists does not want to paint. Once the work is dry, liquid mask is rubbed off revealing the unpainted area. Use with brush. Shake lightly and test on surface before use. Do not leave applied for a long time. To remove, peel or rub carefully once dry. Keep from freezing.

Mr. Masking Tape is made of extremely thin washi paper, which is less likely to leave uneven paint film after peeling, and has excellent elasticity, making it ideal for sticking to curved parts. In addition, its high transparency improves the accuracy when cutting out parts by sticking them to a cutting mat or when cutting to match complex paint patterns. Of course, it can be used not only for model painting, but also for general crafting.

Micro Mask is like masking tape in a bottle. Just apply it with a brush, let it dry, and cut it to any shape you want with a sharp no.11 blade. Peel out the part where you want to paint leaving an outer stencil mask and paint with the method of your choice. Just don't use a water based paint over it, because Micro Mask is water soluble. Use solvent based paints. You can paint the finest details you can cut with a knife. Unlike masking tape that can allow paint to go under it, even the most difficult designs come out sharp and clean with Micro Mask. An easy way to peel Micro Mask off, as soon as the paint is dry enough, is to rub on a piece of masking tape and pull it away quickly. In difficult areas, just use water and a tooth brush and dissolve it away.
