The Avante was originally launched in 1988 and Tamiya took advantage of the experience and know-how garnered by the Tamiya Racing Factory (TRF; founded in 1989) team to make a racing version of the Avante: the Egress. It featured carbon fiber plates made of the material seen on hi-tech racing cars and aircraft, and employed racing parts such as ball diffs, high-capacity oil dampers, and lightweight titanium screws. Now, the shaft-driven Egress receives a makeover to bring it right up to date and unleash a whole new world of potential. Durable shaft-driven 4WD chassis uses a range of carbon parts This shaft-driven 4WD chassis features a longitudinally-positioned motor and full ball bearings, while carbon fiber upper and lower decks ensure that the model has superb strength. Re-designed front and rear ball differentials offer excellent reliability and easy maintenance, working in tandem with the built-in center one-way to provide sure-footed movement. The one-way bearing can be locked. The Fast Attack Vehicle was an R/C buggy that reproduced the look of a type of special military vehicle. This re-released version features improvements to meet the modern R/C standard while maintains the same basic chassis design as the original 1984 model. It also features a realistic body, roll cage, and a driver figure as well as equipment such as machine gun, which can all be finished with plastic model paints. In addition, the black/white/olive drab camouflage pattern can be easily depicted with kit-included stickers. The Fighting Buggy was originally exported as the Super Champ in 1982 across the globe. For a limited time only, it is back as a special re-release celebrating 46-plus years after it originally made its debut in hobby stores. The re-release kit begins with a new name, which is the same as that used by the original Japanese release of the R/C model. While it features a variety of tweaks and upgrades, Tamiya's designers made sure to retain the drivability, appearance, and characteristics of the original. Features 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. The classic body of the original is reproduced in durable ABS resin with an aluminum roof panel with wings. Stickers retain many of the themes of the classic model while also adding some new motifs. The vehicle depicted in this R/C assembly kit recreates the first-generation FORD Bronco on the cross-country CC-02 chassis. The first-generation Ford Bronco was relatively compact and extremely capable off-road, and this 4WD vehicle participated in numerous races thanks to custom fabrication teams of the day. The Baja Bronco edition was sold from 1971 to 1975 to commemorate its victories in prestigious Baja race events such as the Baja 500 and 1000. The Baja edition had a white and red body with a blue roof and black hood plus reinforced components such as suspension. This special Bronco enjoys great popularity even to this day! The model is based on the 58062 1/10 rc hotshot ii released in 1987 and is revised for a new look like the 58695 1/10 rc wild one off-road blockhead motors model It has a new livery thanks to dedicated stickers. Jun watanabe group deals with stickers, clothing and customizations of tamiya buggy models from the 80s, also taking part in the design of fashion, music and skateboard projects to expand the horizons of rc cars. Customized hotshot II The hotshot ii debuted in 1987, a follow up to the hotshot, our wildly popular first-ever shaft driven 4wd buggy. Now, the hotshot ii makes a re-appearance with various tweaks added by the famous japanese designer mr. Jun watanabe. It features an overhauled color scheme of brilliant blue (body and wing are pre-painted in this color, and pre-cut), with a prominent white stripe. The driver figure position has also been reevaluated, while the upper deck and roll cage are new components, bringing the driver up to a more realistic location. Guards and car number plates were also designed by watanabe, while the motor has a dedicated sticker. Shaft driven 4wd chassis Based upon the original hotshot ii design, this shaft driven 4wd chassis has sealed gearboxes and differentials front and rear and gives an intuitive drive. The front of the four-wheel double wishbone suspension employs a monoshock setup, with two dampers at the rear (all are cva oil dampers molded in yellow), while metal plated parts such as uprights and wheels give the model a realistic look. The latter are shod with hybrid oval block/pin spike low-profile tires. Features The model viewed from behind, complete with the rear guide designed by watanabe. Matte plated front uprights give the model a classy accent. The front monoshock cva oil damper is molded in yellow and joined by a stabilizer. The driver figure has a slightly raised position, and is surrounded by a roll cage with window netting. Crafted in metal, the roof-top includes an air intake, while guard plates are installed to the front and rear of the cockpit. Car number plates add another customized touch to this model. Rear uprights have a matte plated finish. Cva oil dampers are used on the rear, their tension being adjustable via spacers. Matte plated wheels are paired with semi-pneumatic hybrid tread tires.
