The Nissan Leopard was released as a personal luxury car in September 1980; the 280X SF-L was its highest-grade model. The pioneering and distinctive two-door hardtop body featured excellent aerodynamic performance. It was powered by the inline-six L28E engine capable of 145hp and had 5-speed manual and 3-speed automatic transmission options. The suspension featured an auto-leveling system for the rear; the interior was also packed with luxury accessories like leather seats, an onboard drive computer with 6 functions, cruise control and automated climate control, which were standard attachments for the 280X SF-L. The Celica LB Turbo was a Group 5 racing car developed for the Deutsche Rennsport-Meisterschaft (DRM) in 1977. It was based on Celica Liftback 2000GT road car and attached aerodynamic parts such as bulging over fenders and a rear wing. The entire body was redone in lightweight FRP with the exception of the hood, roof, door and rear panel components; the car weighed a mere 860kg. The Toyota inline-four engine with a capacity of 1,968cc (18R-G) was modified by German outfit Schnitzer. They added their own 16 valve cylinder head to the engine: the powerplant had a 2,090cc capacity and was paired with a mechanical fuel injection system and KKK turbocharger, resulting in an impressive output of 560hp. It debuted in the eighth DRM race at Hockenheim in 1977. In October, it even beat the mighty Porsche 935 in the ADAC trophy race at Zolder, Belgium. This distinctive Japanese-German silhouette racing car was one to keep an eye on. The impressive aerodynamic body was entirely redone in FRP with the exception of the hood, roof, door and rear panel components. The powerful front form has a spoiler integrated with widened fenders. The photo gives a good look at the extended rear fenders. The rear wing enhanced traction of the driven rear wheels. Chassis underside is also realistically recreated with flat underpanels and side exhaust pipe. Deep rim mesh wheels are metal-plated. Slick tires use solid synthetic rubber for realistic feel. The cockpit has depictions of roll cage and fire extinguisher to go along with the driver figure. Cartograf decals are used for superlative color. Hasegawa announces a collaboration with the racing game "Shutoko Battle"! Ai Hasegawa is the eldest of the three sisters who are the stars of the Hasegawa hobby shop's second store. She learned from her father from a young age, and devoted herself to model making, honing her skills, and her work is often featured in model magazines. After coming of age, she was appointed manager of the second branch, where she runs the business with her other sisters. She had been recreating her beloved Midnight Rose car in plastic model form, but her passion grew to the point where she made her racing debut with a real car. She now pilots the Z32, which she has repeatedly built in model form, and takes on the challenge of real-scale competition. This kit includes a new chassis with a four-wheel independent alignment adjustment mechanism; the conventional polycap material is used for the stepless sliding structure of the vehicle height and camber to achieve smooth adjustment. The steering and alignment gimmicks allow for a variety of styling settings. This kit is based on the No. 11 car entered in the "Object T;" it includes cockpit roll bars and bonnet pin parts on the inside of the doors.
