The Turbostar was an important commercial success for Iveco. COE m.1939 is a rare and historically significant truck that played a key role in the development of American commercial transport. The European truck manufacturers carry only very few conventional (long-hood) trucks in their roster because of legal length limitations for tractor-trailer units. The new conventional, built by Scania, is therefore mainly used for extra-heavy tasks and construction work. Due to the fact that the engine is mounted in front ot the driver's cabin, the T-143 features a spacious driving compartment and has a lower noise level than the «R» type.
