COE m.1939 is a rare and historically significant truck that played a key role in the development of American commercial transport. Its innovative design maximized cargo space and improved maneuverability for urban environments. The defining feature of this model is the placement of the cab directly above the engine. This configuration shortened the overall length of the truck, allowing for a longer cargo area and a tighter turning radius, which was ideal for city driving and narrow streets. A 3-speed or heavy-duty 4-speed manual transmission was standard equipment.

The US G7107 1.5‑ton 4×4 truck was one of the most important medium‑duty vehicles used by the U.S. Army during World War II. Part of the Chevrolet G506 family, it served in logistics, supply transport, troop movement, communications and engineering support. The metal body version was especially durable, making it ideal for harsh environments. The G7107 saw service in North Africa, Italy, Northwest Europe and The Pacific. Its reliability, ease of maintenance and strong off‑road performance made it a backbone of Allied logistics.

Ace Model adds another 1/72 scale kit to its line of Chevrolet G506 trucks. Designated as the E5, it was used as a mobile training platform designed to teach aerial gunners how to operate and track targets using actual bomber turrets.

The Daimler-Benz company designed chassis L1500S of 1,5 t capacity in 1941. Most of these chassis received closed bodies for fire team of 8 men transportation (LLG). Truck trailers TSA were equipped with fire pump. Equipment also included ladders and fire hoses. Up to the end of 1944 there were produced about 3850 LLG on all chassis types. Vehicles on Daimler-Benz chassis were extremely durable and reliable. Since 1943 L1500S LLG fire trucks were renamed as LF 8. They were used by German fire teams some years after the war. The European truck manufacturers carry only very few conventional (long-hood) trucks in their roster because of legal length limitations for tractor-trailer units. The new conventional, built by Scania, is therefore mainly used for extra-heavy tasks and construction work. Due to the fact that the engine is mounted in front ot the driver's cabin, the T-143 features a spacious driving compartment and has a lower noise level than the «R» type. Engine and cockpit are identical to the Streamline version. In Australia this version is used succesfully for the so called Road Trains, which carry up to three trailers with an overall length of 43 m. The extended wheel base (4,2 m) improves the truck's dnving comfort.
