This revolutionary water-based surfacer series has less of a solvent smell and is safer, while also being able to fill in surface scratches and prepare the base before painting. Surfacer 500 has coarse particles and is suitable for filling large scratches and sealing wood. The surface has just the right amount of roughness, making it ideal as a base for brush painting. The bottle type can be used as is when using with a brush. When using with an airbrush, dilute 1:1 with water or water-based hobby color thinner (recommended).

We recommend AK11500 Acrylic Thinner for a correct thinning. Specification  Acrylic self-leveling primer for airbrush or brush application. Formulated for all types of surfaces. Black Surfacer 1000 particles turn the finish color of the base material black, so it can be used as a base for metallic colors and as a base for black paint. It is very convenient because you can create the base material and paint black in one go. If you are using the bottle type with a brush, you can use it as is. If you are using it with an airbrush, dilute it 1:1 with water or a thinner for water-based hobby colors (recommended).

This is a surfacer containing primer components. It is an improved version of Surfacer 1000. It is a versatile type that can be used not only for plastic models, but also for metals such as etching parts and resin materials that are difficult to adhere to. The color is gray. *When diluting SF287 Mr. Primer Surfacer (bottle type) with regular "Mr. Thinner", if you dilute it more than twice as much, the soluble components may become diluted and solidify. We recommend using "Mr. Leveling Thinner", which has high dissolving power, for dilution and tool maintenance.*When using "Mr. Thinner", add a small amount of "Mr. Retarder Mild" or "True Solvent Liquid". Adding soluble components makes it less likely to solidify.
