These pigments can be applied either dry of wet depending on your taste and the goal you try to achieve. Mix them with Pigment Fixer or White Spirit to apply them wet. When you decide to apply the pigments dry you can later fix them in place with either Pigment Fixer or White spirit.

Water based medium to create flaked paint, scratches, and rust chips. Can be applied with airbrush or brush to create chipping effects with acrylic colors. Always follow the information on the product label. Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, Reaction mass of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2 H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1). May cause allergic reactions.

Enamel Product. The paneliners are a high quality enamel product, developed for scale aircraft models, with an improved flow to highlight panels and to obtain depth and contrast in surface details. Forget about complex mixtures or endless colours. This colour is perfectly suited for model aircraft that are painted in sand, light brown, or have multi-coloured desert camouflage patterns.

The engines and transmissions of many vehicles offer a special aspect where the grease and the remains of spilt fuel are the protagonists. These enamel based effects just need to be painted on. Apply with a brush in different lays of different intensities for the most realistic effects. For a lighter effect you can dilute them with White spirit.

Just shake well before use and you can apply it directly to your model to create depth in the details. This is an enamel product and can be dissolved using our white spirit or ODOURLESS THINNER. Weathering pencils are water-based pencils with 17cm semi-grease paint specially for use in modeling.
