Melbourne Tram W8 Class TomyTec World Railway Collection  Melbourne, Australia, renowned as one of the world's foremost tram cities, boasts an extensive urban and suburban tram network. The W Class tram family comprises more than 750 vehicles built between 1923 and 1956, with numerous subclasses and variations produced throughout its long manufacturing history. Introduced in 2013, the W8 Class consists of refurbished SW6, W6, and W7 Class vehicles. While retaining the iconic green-and-cream livery of the original trams, the W8 Class received upgraded equipment and enhanced safety features to meet contemporary operating requirements. Today, these vehicles are primarily used on Melbourne's free City Circle tourist service. This set includes a motorized power unit (TM-TR05) and is equipped with a factory-installed, user-adjustable pantograph.
