Final version of the glorious Countach, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Lamborghini, boasts numerous improvements, were in fact changed about 3,000 of the 8,000 pieces that make up the car. Much of the aesthetic innovations derived from the prototype Countach Evoluzione in 1986, the first supercar in the world made of carbon fiber. The air box and the air intakes were redesigned and enlarged and were mounted of miniskirts , the geometry of the suspension was modified. The improved aerodynamics allowed a maximum speed of 300 km / h. This was the last version made the Countach, which remained in production until 1990 when it was replaced by the Diablo. The Army of the Southern states was formed in 1861. The largest contingent was formed by men from Virginia, most of whom were volunteers and not professional soldiers. A lot of equipment was not standardized and the uniforms were quite diverse. The Confederate army was led by Robert E. Lee, a great general both on the battlefield and as a strategist.

The innovative Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey project was initiated during the 1980s, but only emerged into production and was deployed to various arms of the US armed forces, after enduring a long and complex developmental process which lasted for over twenty years. The Osprey is a tilt rotor, equipped with two tilting engines which have large three-blade propellers attached that make it able to land and take-off vertically like a helicopter, and also possessing flight and transfer performance similar to that of a conventional propeller plane. Thanks to its two powerful 6,150 HP Rolls-Royce T406-AD-400 engines it can exceed 500 km / h in horizontal flight. The United States Marine Corps is the principal user of the aircraft, exploiting its tactical versatility and the transport capability of the V-22 in particular, for operational support during troop landings. Napoleon's Imperial Guard comprised all the assets of the Grande Armée. Foot Grenadiers, Chasseurs-a-Cheval, the Empress' Dragoons, all fought alongside Guard foot and horse artillery. This kit represents a unit of Regiment d’Artillerie a Pied de la Garde Imperiale. Its members were recognizable by the high bearskin bonnet issued in 1810. The McLaren MP4/2 was one of the most successful racing cars, securing the most victories in the history of Formula 1. In 1985, the MP4/2B made its debut equipped with a TAG Porsche engine, enhanced by two superchargers capable of attaining 850 hp and displaying aerodynamic designs less showy than the previous cars, and which were also compliant with the evolving new regulations of the period. The project’s engineering and design achievements were ratified by victory in the constructors’ and drivers’ world championships, due in equal measure to the extraordinary talent of driver Alain Prost. In 1986, the project was further enhanced by the MP4/2C version and Alain Prost was again confirmed as world champion. On October 25th, near Agincourt, Henry V's English army, largely composed of foot troops and a small contingent of noble knights, defeated the army of the Constable of France Charles d'Albret, a much larger force boasting the best heavy cavalry in Europe. The English success was determined by the use of the Welsh longbow. This weapon was easy to use, even after a short training. It could hit at 200 yards and penetrate the armor of knights. During the 1960s Mercedes-Benz began development of a line of sports cars which were characterized by high performance and also great attention to aspects of motoring that would meet the requirements of the expanding "luxury" car market sector. The acronym SL (Sport and Leicht), identifies the various models that over the years have evolved and been presented to the market. In the 1970s, the German automotive group launched the R107 and C107 series in the Roadster and Coupé versions, which went on to quickly achieve notable commercial success. Arising from the C107, the "top of the range" coupé SLC 500 evolved, the production of which, lasted for almost a decade. With a 4973cc engine capable of delivering 237 HP the Mercedes SLC 500 became a benchmark for the "premium" market, which in the 1970s, also saw the origin of some iconic models, which even now, capture the imagination and dreams of many collector and classic car enthusiasts. From 16th to 18th June the French troops and the Allied troops clashed on battlefields of Belgium. The battles of Ligny and Quatre Bras were only the proem of the most famous and well-known battle of the military history. A date and a place : 18th June 1815, Waterloo. Wellington considered the farm of La Haie Sainte a strategic point of his defensive line. In the afternoon, Napoleon ordered to Marshal Ney to launch the assault to the farm in order to obtain a significant outpost. The farm was strenuously defended by Allied troops, that had fortified the buildings since the morning. The clash was fierce and the French troops, supported by artillery, were able to conquer La Haie Sainte only in the late afternoon. At 7 p.m. , thanks to the strategic value of the farm, the French Imperial Guard can start the assault but it is too late. The Suzuki RG 500 is considered to be an icon of two-wheel racing motorcycles of the 1970s. It was specifically developed by the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki for the racing world, and built around the reliable and powerful 4-cylinder 500cc 2-stroke engine which provided up to 90 HP. With this bike Suzuki participated in the world championships in the 500 class, achieving an incredible series of consecutive victories that led to it retaining the "constructors" title for several years. One of the architects of this successful period was the British rider Barry Sheene, who also won the "pilots" title for two consecutive years, in 1976 and 1977. Designed by the American company McDonnell Douglas and entered service during the 1960s, the F-4 Phantom II two-seater all-weather supersonic fighter-bomber is one of the best-known and most famous aircraft in the history of military aviation. Initially designed for the U.S. Navy, it was also widely used by the U.S. Air Force and had significant commercial success around the world. The "E" version of the Phantom II, in detail, developed for the U.S. Air Force, was characterized by an M61 Vulcan cannon positioned in the nose and could be armed, for interception missions, with the AIM-9 Sidewinder and AIM-7 Sparrow air-to-air missiles. The two powerful General Electric J-79 engines allowed the Phantom II to exceed the speed of 1,240 knots (approximately 2,300 km / h). Several planes are still flying in the air forces of Greece, Turkey and Korea, undergoing extensive modernization programs. The 1st and 29th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army, part of the fifth Corps led by General Bradlay, landed on June 6th, 1944, on the beach between Vierville sur Mer and Sainte Honorine des Pertes. The beach is historically known with its codename in Operation Overlord: Omaha Beach. The Alfa Romeo 8C can be considered as one of the most famous sports cars of the 1930s. The car's name derives from the engine adopted: an 8-cylinder in-line supercharged engine with a displacement of 2,336 cc. The Alfa Romeo could be considered the “state of art” for technology, innovative solutions and performances. Characterized by an impressive reliability and driveability the “8C” achieved significant victories in international car racing competitions. It linked its name to the famous Italian driver Tazio Nuvolari that won, among the others, the Targa Florio race in Sicily and the prestigious Italian Grand Prix at Monza. This last victory gave the “Monza” name to the twin seater GP car. From the racing version, a production batch of almost 200 vehicles was produced for the private markets and to be used on the normal road.To celebrate the 110th anniversary of the famous Italian manufacturer we are releasing the two-seater Sport version of the 1930’s. Introduced to the market in 1988, the Volvo F16 achieved considerable commercial success largely due to its innovative “powertrain” line which was able to achieve a high level of driving performance, low fuel consumption and low running and maintenance costs. The exceptional features of its 6-cylinder engine were complemented by the innovative "Globetrotter" cab which provided exceptional on board comfort. The sturdy frame served as a developmental platform for the creation of numerous specially outfitted versions to meet a wide range of differing customer requirements. The battle of Stalingrad was a turning point of the Second World War and one of the most famous battle of the military history. The battle begun on summer 1942 and the Soviet Red Army faced the German army for the control of Volga and Don rivers region. The military operations were focused in the symbolic city of Stalingrad destroyed by the intense German bombing. The ruins of the city became the theater of brutal and fierce close quarters combats. One of the most important German target was the control of the industrial area including the huge tractor factory, converted during the war to the production of T-34 tanks, destroyed by bombers and artillery fire. On November 1942, the Soviets launched the large flanking maneuver to surround the Wehrmacht forces in Stalingrad that ended with the surrender of German Troops in the first months of 1943. The JSF Joint Strike Fighter program was a developmental project to create a new 5th generation all-weather multirole combat aircraft to replace the existing American and NATO strike-fighter force. The aerospace industry team led by aircraft manufacturer Lockheed Martin, created the single-seat, single-engine F-35 Lightning II. The Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet is a modern twin-engine, carrier-capable, single-seat fighter directly derived from the original design of the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet. Larger and heavier than its predecessor, it is characterized by significantly improved flight and combat performance. Noticeable evolutionary design changes can best be seen in the revised wing-shape which is able to ensure maximum performance, particularly in terms of maneuverability. The twin-engine Douglas DC-3 was definitely one of the most famous transport aircraft of aviation history thanks to its reliability, flexibility and service life. During the Second World War it was developed a version dedicated to military duties: the Douglas C-47 Skytrain. Produced in large numbers by American production plants, was used extensively by the Allies on all fronts. In particular, the C-47s received by British Royal Air Force and Commonwealth Air Forces took the name “Dakota” and they were used for logistic, tactical transports, launch of paratroopers and medical evacuation. Thanks to its two Pratt & Whitney 1,200 HP engines the “Dakota” was able to reach a top speed of 360 Km/h. It had a pay-load of 2,500 Kg or a capacity of 28 troops. Wehrmacht was the name used by the German army during the war on all European and North African fronts for almost 6 years, from 1939 to 1945. On September 1st, 1939, two Wehrmacht army groups invaded Poland, thus starting World War II.
