Alongside the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter and the Junkers Ju-87 Stuka dive bomber, the Messerschmitt Bf 110 Zerstörer is considered one of the symbols of the Luftwaffe during the Second World War. The Corsair is one of the best known airplanes of World War Il which fought against the entire array of aircraft used by the Japanese Forces in the Pacific theatre. After the war the Corsairs were set aside, together with other propeller-driven planes, to expect demolition awaiting replacement by jet aircraft. In 1950, at the outbreak of the Korean conflict, more than one hundred units were re-activated to combat the onslaught of the North Korean Forces. The Corsair still proved a viable airplane, robust and reliable, superior to the first, rather delicate jets which were to end the Corsair's life span. The BF-109 G represents the logical evolution of the earlier F version of the well-known German fighter plane, which dominated the skies during the early stages of World War II. The Junkers Ju-52/3m was produced by the renowned German aviation company from the early 1930s for civilian use with Lufthansa and other major commercial airlines. Among more than 2500 kits produced by Italeri in 60 years of activity the Caproni Ca. 313/314 is the one that deserves a special place in the aviation history and in the model builders’ heart. Faithful to the original in Special Numbered Edition. In the same box and with the original sprues of the first edition. The twin-engined Ca.313 was developed by Italian aeronautical company Caproni in the late 1930s. Inspired by the Caproni Ca. 310 Libeccio, it was used by the Regia Aeronautica during the Second World War to undertake light bombing, aerial observation and reconnaissance missions. The two 12-cylinder Isotta Fraschini Delta RC 35 engines delivered 730 hp and allowed the Caproni to attain a maximum speed of 430 km / h. The engines powered three-blade metal propellers with variable pitch. The Ca.314 version was modified for use in other roles such as ground attack, maritime reconnaissance, convoy escort and as a torpedo bomber. The "Caproni" were deployed by the Regia Aeronautica on various operational fronts in the Mediterranean and North Africa. They were also used by the Swedish Air Force and the German Luftwaffe.

The CANT Z.501 "Gabbiano" was a central-hull seaplane designed for maritime reconnaissance, developed by engineer Filippo Zappata for the Cantieri Riuniti dell'Adriatico (C.R.D.A.) in the 1930s. The aircraft's design featured a large high wing and lateral floats, making it suitable for patrol, search, and rescue operations at sea. It was powered by a 900 HP Isotta Fraschini Asso XI engine, providing good range and a maximum speed of 275 km/h. The CANT Z.501 began its operational service during the Spanish Civil War but was extensively used by the Regia Aeronautica during World War II in the Mediterranean theater.
