SILENT™ is a low-odor thinner for paint dilution and brush cleaning in brush painting. It is available in two types for enamel and lacquer paints. It does not produce the unpleasant odor typically associated with conventional thinners, softening the strong odor characteristic of paint. It provides an innovative painting experience where high-quality paints can be used comfortably with only light ventilation.
Features
- Odor Reduction: Reduces lacquer paint odor for a more pleasant brushing experience.
- Stable Layered Application: Enables stable layered application without excessive dissolution of underlying paint layers.
- Enamel-Like Brush Painting: Slows the drying rate to allow brush painting comparable to enamel paints, improving brush control and self-leveling.
- Comfortable Brush Cleaning: Allows for comfortable brush cleaning without unpleasant odor.
INFORMATION

- Naturally Derived Ingredients: Incorporates naturally derived ingredients to moderate unpleasant odors during the paint drying process. After application, a subtle residual scent remains.
- Premium-Grade Raw Materials: Formulated with premium-grade (EP-grade) Korean raw materials and produced in-house by GUNPRIMER to ensure consistent and reliable quality.
- Compatibility Test: Compatibility testing with major paint brands has been completed, confirming odor reduction in most paints.
TECHNOLOGY
- Vapor Pressure Reduction Technology: This technology, independently developed by GUNPRIMER, maintains the paint’s inherent evaporation properties while lowering vapor pressure, thereby reducing the diffusion of VOCs and unpleasant odors into the air.
HOW TO USE
- Dilute Paint Precisely: Add SILENT™ to the paint drop by drop to dilute it to the appropriate consistency for brush application. The 1mm narrow nozzle allows for easy drop-by-drop control.
- Create Low-Odor Paint: For small enamel paints that are used frequently, add a few drops of SILENT™ directly into the bottle and shake well to pre-adjust the viscosity to your preferred level.
- Clean Brushes Without Unpleasant Odor: Cleaning your brushes with SILENT™ significantly reduces unpleasant odors compared to conventional thinners, allowing you to work in a more comfortable workspace.
