Bandai Plannosaurus Mosasaurus 1899

Bandai's "Plannosaurus" model-kit series encourages you to learn about dinosaurs by assembling them yourself from the skeleton out! Begin with the "skeletal build," assembling the dinosaur's skeleton piece by piece; the "dinosaur build" then allows you to attach the outer skin parts to the skeleton. Nippers and glue are not required, so they're easy to assemble, too!

Features

• This model kit allows you to recreate a reconstruction of a Mosasaurus published in 1899, when it was interpreted as having a mane-like series of scales growing from the back of its head to its tail.
• The tail was originally interpreted as being straight, too, as is shown here.
• The mouth can be opened and closed, and the head, neck, limbs, abdomen, and tail fin are all articulated so you can recreate swimming poses
• Display base is included.
