Epoxy is an equal two-part hobby adhesive that forms high strength bonds through a chemical reaction between the resin and hardener. The cured epoxy is resistant to most chemicals. MID-CURE™ should be applied in temperatures above 65˚F. It can be used in most applications when you need more working time than QUIK-CURE™ provides. MID-CURE™ can be worked for about 10 minutes, with adhesion beginning after about 15 minutes. MID-CURE™ bonds best to clean, textured surfaces. Smooth, non-porous surfaces should be roughened with coarse sandpaper to improve adhesion. Acetone and Isopropyl rubbing alcohol work as the best solvents for cleaning uncured epoxy from surfaces. MID-CURE™ is our most flexible epoxy. This gives it superior bonding qualities in applications such as hardwood to fiberglass. MID-CURE’S™ lack of brittleness allows it to form lasting bonds in areas subject to high vibration or stress. MID-CURE™ is a water-resistant substitute for QUIK-CURE™. Full cure in 2-3 hours.

Because of it's sharpness, it can obtain a smooth cut surface as if the cut had been made by a hobby knife. This cut minimizes whitening of the plastic, and the cutting marks are much cleaner than general nippers. The thin single-edged cutting blade design emphasizes sharpness. A guideline for cutting 3mm plastic is 2kg or less of force compared to 3.5kg-10kg for general nippers. Please only use these nippers for cutting plastic (PS resin, PP resin, ABS resin, and PE resin) 3mm and less. However, transparent/translucent PS resin is very hard and is not recommended to cut more than 1mm.

IC-GEL™ is a cyanoacrylate paste that is extremely thick which comes in an applicator tube like toothpaste. It has the same bonding and curing time characteristics as MAXI-CURE™. IC-GEL™, however, can be applied to a vertical surface and will stay in place. It will not run. This can be very convenient for some assembly applications. Applying CA to the bottom of a horizontal surface, such as a ceiling, can be very difficult with anything other than a full standard CA bottle. IC-GEL™ can be applied at any angle with just a squeeze of the tube. The gel does, however, have a tendency to continue to come out of the tube for about a second after pressure is released, so this must be taken into account to apply the exact amount of IC-GEL™ that you want. IC-GEL™ is an excellent putty for plastic models. It will fill any void and can be formed to many shapes. Applying INSTA-SET™ allows IC-GEL™ to be sanded or filed to final shape in less than 20 seconds. Autobody repairmen have finished their jobs in a fraction of the time by using IC-GEL™ with the additional advantage over normal body putties of superior bonding to metal surfaces. IC-GEL's™ most popular application is for the bonding of fragments of live coral (frags) to underwater rocks in aquariums. It has proven to be non-toxic to aquatic organisms and provides instant bonding for the propagation of the coral. Odourless de-bonding agent for all super glues.  Softens cured glue so it can be easily removed from fingers and many other surfaces. (Always test first!) USES: Z-7 DEBONDER works to remove cured CA glues from skin, work surfaces, most plastics, and model finishes. Z-7 DEBONDER can also be used to remove adhesive left from stickers, pen and marker inks, some paints and stains, decals, correction fluids and finger nail polish. You can use Z-7 DEBONDER to weatherize and highlight your models and soften CA glue prior to sanding. HELPFUL HINTS: Z-7 DEBONDER Is best applied directly from the bottle right onto the glue to be removed. Z-7 DEBONDER works by softening the glue so it can be wiped away. Several applications may be necessary to completely remove all of the glue. To remove from your fingers or other body parts, apply Z-7 DEBONDER directly on the glue and rub the area with your finger, wipe away the softened glue and apply additional Z-7 DEBONDER if needed. If your fingers are glued together apply Z-7 DEBONDER all around the area glued, then gently roll your fingers to loosen the glue, apply more and continue working the glued area until yours fingers separate. To remove from a surface, apply directly to the glue and let sit for several minutes, wipe away the softened glue and repeat the application if required. To weather your model apply debonder to a rag first and gently wipe the painted areas you wish to look worn. Although Z-7 DEBONDER will work on most materials and paints, always test on samples for compatibility.
