This product is also widely used throughout the hobby industry; the thin formula allows the glue to go where most cannot. Some uses besides hobbies and crafts include; jewelry manufacturing and repair, taxidermy, mold and pattern making, furniture refinishing and antique repair, auto detailing, archery, darts, dental molds and patterns, and ceramic repair. Wood turners like the penetrating ability for hardening soft areas and preventing the propagation of cracks. Furniture refinishers can count on ZAP CA to wick under loose veneer without having to remove the piece and chance damage. Mold and pattern shops coat the outside of the wood pattern, hardening it for final finishing. Cracks almost disappear in ceramic and hardened plaster pieces. Use it on fiberglass and cloth to bond, reinforce, and strengthen wood parts and assemblies. Plastic parts can be joined with an almost invisible seam. Helpful Hints: This glue is FAST!! It travels fast and sets up fast. It will bond skin instantly. Because of this glues wicking ability it will travel along an edge or seam for several inches. It will penetrate deep in to a crack just by applying the glue at one end. When bonding balsa wood, hold the parts together and apply a small amount of glue at the seam where the parts meet. The glue will penetrate the joint and wick into the balsa parts. Don’t hold the balsa to close to the joint or you will find that you are glued to your parts. For porous products you may have to apply more glue to get the strongest bond, it would be best to try bonding some test pieces to determine the proper amount. When sealing and hardening wood parts use in a well ventilated area and work on small sections. Do not use kicker with this glue, in most cases the glue will have set before you can apply the accelerator. For critical applications test sample joints for designed strength requirements.

FOAM-CURE™ is a silicone based adhesive that works very well on EPP and EPO foams. It is crystal clear and cures to a more flexible consistency than CA. It is, however, not instant bonding like CA and there is no accelerator to speed it’s curing. To obtain a faster initial bond when bonding two pieces, FOAM-CURE™ can be applied to one piece and after the two are joined, they can then be pulled apart. After letting it air dry for about ten minutes, FOAM-CURE™ will act like a contact cement when the parts are rejoined, resulting in enough tack strength to allow the next steps of assembly. Full strength is reached in 10-12 hours. FOAM-CURE™ works with all foams, and will actually bond most other materials. It will bond wood and plastic to foam, and is a good canopy glue. FOAM-CURE™ does not, however, cure flexible enough to act as a hinge for aircraft control surfaces. Its limitations occur when bonding large areas of two non-porous materials. FOAM-CURE™ requires exposure to air for drying. If one tried to bond, for example, a half-dollar coin to glass, over 90% of the adhesive would never cure, since the solvent it contains would have no where to evaporate. A small amount of denatured alcohol can be mixed into the Foam-Cure to make it thinner. Works Best On EPP Foam EOP Foam Clear Canopy Paper and Crafts Directions Cut off tip of nozzle.
