The F4 Corsair is considered to be one of the most successful carrier-based fighter aircraft to be developed during the Second World War, although, when it first came into service, the technical experts of the U.S Navy considered this large cantilever wing aircraft to be unsuitable for use on aircraft carriers. The Corsair obtained many outstanding aerial victories. In the Pacific Ocean theatre alone, the F4U shot down over 2,000 Japanese aircraft, with a loss of only 189 Corsairs, resulting in a kill / loss ratio which has never been equaled throughout history. This aircraft was produced for ten years, until December 1952, a fact which established the Corsair as the American aircraft to remain in production for the longest period of time after the Second World War. The F4 was also used extensively by the French Naval Aviation during the war in Indochina and the Suez campaign of 1956. Includes Decals for 3 versions

The Black Hawk is the U.S. Army’s front-line utility helicopter used for air assault, air cavalry and aeromedicals evacuation units. It is designed to carry 11 combat-loaded air assault troops and it is capable of moving a 105 mm. Howitzer and 30 rounds of ammunition. First deployed in 1978, the Black Hawk’s advanced technology makes it easy to maintain in the field. The Black Hawk has performed admirably in a variety of missions, including air assault, air cavalry and aeromedicals evacuations, including Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq. In addition, modified Black Hawks operate as special operations platforms.

Cutting-Edge Aircraft Fighter jets have continued to develop since they were first seen in late WWII, to the point where modern day aircraft such as the F-35 Lightning II and F-22 Raptor are often called "fifth generation" fighters; qualities such as their highly advanced stealth characteristics and network connectivity set them apart from earlier fighters. Multiple sensors are at the heart of its advanced capabilities, and the wealth of data harvested is shared via multifunction advanced data link, helping provide the crew with outstanding information via a large cockpit display and the helmet-mounted display system. The F-35's maiden flight was in December 2006, and deployment with air arms in the U.S., Italy, Japan and more is planned, as the aircraft appears set to take on a major role in the defense landscape in years to come. Fearless Nighttime Bomber The Avro Lancaster was one of the RAF's main heavy bombers during the WWII. The prototype flew in January 1941 which featured 4 Rolls-Royce Merlin engines on its wings. The Lancaster had a 10m long bomb bay which took up nearly half the length of its fuselage, and coupled with its strong airframe, this enabled the Lancaster to carry bombs up to 9,856kg in weight. The Mk.I was equipped with Rolls-Royce Merlin engines, and the Mk.III was equipped with Merlin engines built by Packard in America; a total of 7,377 Lancasters were produced until the end of the war. The Lancaster first saw action in March, 1942 and went on to fly as the main nighttime bomber over Germany in the latter half of the war and dropped 608,612 tons of bombs in 156,000 sorties overall. The Lancaster caused severe damage against German industrial output and contributed to the victory of the Allied Forces. The Lancaster along with the Spitfire and Mosquito can be considered as one of Britain's best aircraft of the war. Features 1/48 scale plastic static model kit of the Avro Lancaster. Powered by two Daimler-Benz DB603 engines, this aircraft with a long and slender fuselage displayed its combat-worthiness against allied bombers in nocturnal operations during the final period of the conflict. Several versions were produced starting with the He219A-0 in 1942, and among them, the He219A-7 was the final and the most sophisticated version. It is equipped with larger, improved super charger intakes for its DB603G engines. Coupled with a FuG220 radar, two dorsal 30mm canons dubbed "Schrage Musik" plus two each 20 or 30mm canons in the wing-roots and the ventral tray enhanced A-7's capability as a high altitude night-fighter. Although the total number of production was only 268 until the end of the war, the Heinkel He219 Uhu gained noteworthy results against allied airforces and was supposed to be the best among the Luftwaffe's reciprocating engined night-fighters.
