Tamiya’s series of ultra-realistic 1/14 scale R/C trucks offer fun and realistic driving!
This kit adds to the selection of trucks available in the series with the Scania 770 S 4X2!
The Scania 770 S 4x2 is a single front steering, single rear-axle drive four-wheel heavy trailer head equipped with a 16.4-liter V8 turbo engine capable of 770hp. It was added in 2020 to the Swedish manufacturer Scania’s top-grade S Series. The 4x2 trailer heads are versatile and are a popular type of truck in Europe and in our line-up of kit offerings. This kit also has accessory parts to recreate a customized version like those which are trendy in Europe.

- 1/14 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 469mm, width: 193mm, height: 315mm (excluding side mirrors, antenna). Wheelbase: 272mm. (35mm longer than Item 56368. )
- Just like the actual vehicle, a single front steering, single rear-axle drive 4x2 chassis features a layout of motor and transmission positioned at front.
- Features realistic depictions of accessory parts such as roof high bar with LED light bar, horns, name board, drop visor, bull bar, low bar and side bar. LEDs (sold separately) are also attachable.
- Choose between normal and customized versions.
- New parts to recreate side skirts and auxiliary machinery are included.
- Interior parts such as modern-design dashboard and seats are included and can be installed together with the
Multi-Function Control Unit (Item 56523: MFC-03, sold separately) which offers light, sound, and vibration operation.
- Assembly type 3-speed transmission allows gear changes via separately available 4-channel transmitter.
- Compatible with a wealth of Tractor Truck Option Parts.

Realistic Lights, Sounds, and Vibration
Tamiya Multi-Function Control Units (sold separately) offer light, sound, and vibration operation to accompany your R/C truck experience. Engine sounds have been digitally recorded from an actual truck, and together with air horn, gear shifting, and many other realistic sounds, give you the feeling that you are driving the real thing! Headlights, brake lights, fog lamp, hazard lights and turn signal operations are also at your fingertips.
Semi-Trailers Separately Available
Various types including semi-trailer, tank-trailer, and pole-trailer, are currently available. Attach any one of them via the coupler on the model to create an exciting combination over a meter in length.

A highly detailed recreation of the majestic Scania 770 S 4x2!
A close-up on the molded plastic bull bar, which is made up of ABS-PC frame and ABS mesh components.
2-section side mirrors are affixed on moving plastic mounts. Kerb mirrors are also recreated.
The roof bar is equipped with a light bar and a nameboard with a choice of 4 decorative stickers.
The antenna and metal plated horns add extra detail to the roof.
Metal plated steps have accurate grip patterns. Headlights and fog lamps have reflectors for use with separately sold LEDs.
Enjoy gear changes with the model's three-speed transmission.
The rear suspension uses a reinforced resin axle and metal leaf springs.
Dual tires are used at the rear, and of course feature realistic tread.
A coupler is included to allow connection of semi trailers from the extensive Tamiya line-up.
Fuel tanks are recreated with accuracy, and side skirt marker lamps can be lit up with separately sold LEDs.
Rear lights are compatible with separately sold LEDs for brake and reverse lights, plus turn signals.
The separately sold Multi-Function Control unit's control box can be stowed neatly inside the exhaust box/fuel tank.
A driver figure is included, as is a stickered representation of the Scania griffin.
