Coming soon from Tamiya is the 1/10 Hotshot II 2024 Buggy Kit. That’s right folks, the Hotshot II was first released in 1987 and now has been updated for 2024. The Hotshot II was a lightweight design due to the use of plastic parts. Features R/C model assembly kit in 1/10 scale. Length: 390mm, width: 235mm, height: 160mm. All-wheel drive with shaft drive guarantees off-road speed and stability even in the trickiest corners. The 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension uses CVA (II) oil dampers (one for the front and two for the rear) with front stabiliser to get the most out of the 4WD traction. The body and rear wing are made of lightweight polycarbonate (0.7 mm thick) and use a colour combination with orange lines on a black base. The polycarbonate bodywork is pre-cut and pre-painted in black. The front and rear mechanical shells are sealed to keep out dirt and sand and contain differentials for smooth curves. Sections such as the ABS monocoque frame and suspension arms are made of reinforced plastic for durability. Hybrid ‘semi-pneumatic’ tyres with oval pins and spikes are matched to large-diameter nylon rims. R/C system sold separately. Includes Updated sticker set. 540 Torque Tuned Motor. Originally a Russian T-55 tank, the Tiran 5 was a modified version of the T-55 taken by the Israeli Defence Force and upgraded extensively during the 60s up to the 80s. It was armed with a 105mm gun as well as M2 machine guns and although it was withdrawn from Israeli service, it continued to see action across several other countries. When fully assembled, this 1/35 scale model measures 252mm long and 96mm wide. Volvo is a renowned actor in the global commercial vehicle market, with one of their flagship brands being the FH Series that underwent a full model change in 2012. This R/C model assembly kit recreates the 750hp engine FH16 Globetrotter 750 8x4 tow truck from that range. The model has a realistic cab and body which are pre-painted in silver, with a glossy urethane topcoat applied – just paint details such as window frames in black to finish the job! A photo-etched front grille and interior details add further realism to the mode, and the doors on the body also open. Its fascinating towing mechanism uses plenty of metal parts and winch boom, underlift and outriggers are movable manually. This R/C model assembly kit creates the 2 belt-driven 4WD TRF421X, the latest model in the line of TRF chassis; it has been tuned based upon racing feedback, and offers superior drivability and cornering performance. Its double deck layout is composed of a 2mm thick aluminum lower deck and carbon fiber upper deck. With a new motor mount, the kit enjoys a lower center of gravity and optimized flex. From the 1970s through the 1980s, Group 5 races gained immense popularity with thrilling on-track battles between powerful, highly modified vehicles. The Ford Zakspeed Capri Turbo was designed to take on the DRM (German Racing Championship), sporting a low and wide body and powered by a 375hp 1,427cc inline-4 engine. With the body making extensive use of FRP, the car weighed in at a mere 790kg. It debuted in summer 1978 at Hockenheim, and then in October took its maiden victory, winning the sprint race at the Nürburgring. Features This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit. The 1978 Ford Zakspeed Capri Turbo was developed by West Germany’s Zakspeed team for the DRM. With a lightweight 790 kg, wide-body aerodynamic design, it was powered by a 1,427 cc turbocharged inline-four producing 375 hp. The Capri Turbo claimed its first victory at the Nürburgring in 1978 and went on to secure wins and podiums in the 1979 season, becoming one of the most iconic Silhouette Formula race cars in DRM history. This R/C model assembly kit recreates the 1978 Ford Zakspeed Capri Turbo from the 1978 DRM (German Racing Championship), a series which was a part of the immensely popular Group 5 racing scene in the 1970s and 1980s. This is a re-release model of the M60A3 tank. Together with the M1 Abrams, the M60A3 formed the core of U.S. tank forces during the 1980s. It featured a cast iron chassis that was inherited from the M48 tanks that first appeared in the 1950s, and was powered by a super-charged air-cooled diesel. The turret, too, was manufactured from cast iron, and was mounted with a 105mm gun with thermal sleeve to provide protection from barrel distortion. Other technologically-advanced additions at the time included a laser based rangefinder and ballistic computer, allowing the M60A3 to pack a fearsome punch. Production began in 1978, and the 3,600 examples produced went on to fulfil a leading military role for in excess of 20 years.  Features Length: 264mm, Width: 104mm. Germany employed a number of half-track vehicles during WWII, among them the prolific Sd.Kfz. 250 series. From transportation duties to communications vehicles, ammo carriers and more, they were truly versatile vehicles. The Sd.Kfz. 250/3 is rather well known for Rommel's having used it as a command car during the fighting in North Africa; he named it the Greif ("griffin"), appropriate for the vehicle which carried him as he seemed to swoop around North Africa trying to thwart Allied intentions. This is a model replica of the Porsche 934 Turbo RSR, in Vaillant livery. Based on the Porsche 930 Turbo, the Turbo RSR Type 934 was developed to compete in international sports car racing in 1976, and 31 race cars were produced. In the same year, a 934 with the German company Vaillant as the main sponsor and a striking cobalt green livery competed in the DRM (German Racing Championship). The 1/12 scale Yamaha RZV500R model kit is a re-issue model that was last released in 2011.
