This is the Tamiya 47505 1/10 Toyota Supra JZA80 BT-01 RC Car Kit The 2WD BT-01 is a NEW chassis that offers radio control hobbyists’ choices of FF/MR/FR drive system based upon the drive system of the actual car your body recreates. The body included in the first release depicts the fourth generation Toyota Supra (JZA80) which was announced as a Toyota flagship sports car in 1993. Its top grade RZ model employed a 3-liter inline-6 twin turbo engine capable of 280hp, 6-speed transmission, 4-wheel double wishbone suspension and ventilated disc brakes for front and rear. The muscular form and high-spec performance mesmerized fans all over the world and achieved success in motorsports races. About the BT-01 Chassis: The 2WD BT-01 chassis gives the choice of two types of wheelbases, and front-or rear-wheel drive system. Without removing the battery pack, motor, and R/C equipment setups from the center frame, simply change attachment directions of final gears and steering linkage to switch between front-and rear-wheel drive; front (FR) or midship rear (MR) motor position can be chosen for rear-wheel drive cars. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features symmetrical structure and friction dampers. Unitized sections such as the motor mount, final gears and suspension facilitate ese of assembly and effective maintenance. Length: 397mm, width: 185mm. Wheelbase: 257mm / 251mm (*). The 2WD BT-01 chassis gives a choice of two types of wheelbases (*), and front- or rear- wheel drive system. Options Galore: the 2WD BT-01 Chassis The 2WD BT-01 chassis gives a choice of two types of wheelbase, and front- or rear-wheel drive system. Without removing battery pack, motor and R/C equipment setups from the center frame, simply change attachment directions of final gears and steering linkage to switch between front- and rear-wheel drive; front (FR) or midship rear (MR) motor position can be chosen for rear-wheel drive cars. Unitized sections such as motor mount, final gears and suspension facilitate ease of assembly and effective maintenance. An MR setup is recommended for this model of the Supra, but the FR setup is similar to that of the full-size car and will be worth a try. Features The classic Supra form is artfully captured by the polycarbonate body and several separately molded parts. Separate headlight cases give the front a highly realistic look. Side mirrors are molded separately in ABS plastic. The gently curving rear wing is also molded in ABS. 10-spoke wheels are paired with treaded semi-pneumatic tires. The servo is housed in the right rear, with a long link rod used in the 3-piece setup. The double-wishbone suspension uses symmetrical arms. While coil-sprung dampers are fitted as standard, the BT-01 can be used with separately sold TRF Special Dampers (Hard Black Coating). The unitized motor mount is affixed to the chassis with 2 screws. Power goes from the midship rear motor to the rear wheels via propeller shaft. The BT-01 uses a plastic 4-bevel differential gear, and is compatible with TT-02 Hop-Up Options such as ball differentials and oil-filled differentials. Suspension components are also unitized for smoother pit work. Flip-up battery holders let you change the battery quickly. A transponder holder is also included – great for races! BT-01 can be assembled in 3 different setups, each offering 2 wheelbases: 251mm and 257mm. The second-generation Soarer made its debut in January 1986, and the 3.0GT-Limited was its top grade. With the body featuring both luxury and functionality, the inline-6 twin cam turbo engine was capable of 230hp. This car also utilized the cutting-edge technology of the day such as the Toyota Electro Multi Vision and Space Vision Meter, in addition to the Toyota Electronic Modulated Suspension which was an electronically controlled air suspension system. Dynamic Tank Battles This 1/35 scale assembly kit R/C tank features exciting and realistic maneuverability with sound and light effects. Kit includes pre-assembled gearboxes and turret rotation unit for ease of assembly. Forward/reverse running, left/right turning, sharp turning, and pivoting, as well as turret rotation and main gun elevation/depression can be controlled. U.S. M4A3 Sherman With nearly 50,000 units produced, the M4A3 Sherman is a byword for longevity, and this 75mm gun-toting tank was one of the keys to the Allied triumph in WWII. It was powered by a V8 gasoline engine and featured a welded hull. The Sherman can roughly be divided into early (from June 1942) and late (from February 1944) production variants, the late production Shermans being recognizable by their single-piece frontal armor, commander's cupola and loader's hatch, plus wet ammo storage. They served both in Europe after the Normandy landings, and in the Pacific Theater as the Allies ground toward victory. Battle System This battle system emanates infrared light when the gun is fired. When the light sensor unit receives a hit, MC-06 Control Unit produces various effects such as damage and engine trouble sounds, speed reduction, as well as the depression of the main gun when "knocked out". Easy Operation Left stick controls forward/reverse and left/right turning, while right stick controls turret rotation and gun elevation. Main/machine gun firing and engine start/stop can be operated by 4 buttons. Volume adjustment and tank mode change can also be operated by the transmitter. In 1966, Formula One regulations were changed and indicated a move from cars with 1.5-liter engines to those with 3-liter ones. Having finally tasted success with the 1.5-liter RA272 the year before, the Honda engineers unfortunately had to start from scratch again, and the RA273 was not ready until the Italian GP in 1966. Featuring a lightweight monocoque frame with aluminum panels and powered by a 90 degree V12 engine, the car was driven by Richie Ginther and John Surtees, with Ginther finishing the season in a respectable 4th place overall. Photo-etched parts are used for the radiator, oil coolers, steering wheel spokes and more. The exquisite V12 engine is realistically reproduced, complete with exhaust pipes, fuel lines, ignition cables and aluminum air funnels. Metal transfer instrumentation rings and photo-etched steering wheel spokes make for a sharp cockpit. The steering wheel moves the front wheels. A leaflet is included with rare photos of Tamiya's research on the full-size car back in 1966. Features This is a 1/12 scale plastic model assembly kit.
