In WWII, the German Wehrmacht faced deep snows and quagmire in Russia. To alleviate this problem, they developed the RSO tractor (RaupenSchlepper-Ost, equivalent to “tracked tractor, East”); it was slow but had stable off-road capability thanks to its tracks and 70 hp engine. Its first mass production model RSO/01 featured a rounded cabin of pressed steel. Production began in October 1942 and in the next year, it received updates, in particular a slightly higher cabin floor to avoid obstructing snow tracks for better off-road performance. Some tractors also had their exhaust silencers removed. RSO tractors served as transporters of artillery and supplies on the Eastern Front and in many other theaters. Features This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 126mm, width: 64mm.  Features of the late production vehicle (produced from Spring 1943) are captured in style, based on extensive research.  Rounded cabin of pressed steel is realistically reproduced.  Cargo platform can be assembled with or without cover.  Assembly type tracks use single-piece straight sections.  Includes a driver figure, 2 marking options and masking stickers for windows and window frames.

Dynamic Tank Battles This 1/35 scale assembly kit R/C tank features exciting and realistic maneuverability with sound and light effects. U.S. M4A3 Sherman With nearly 50,000 units produced, the M4A3 Sherman is a byword for longevity, and this 75mm gun-toting tank was one of the keys to the Allied triumph in WWII. It was powered by a V8 gasoline engine and featured a welded hull. The Sherman can roughly be divided into early (from June 1942) and late (from February 1944) production variants, the late production Shermans being recognizable by their single-piece frontal armor, commander's cupola and loader's hatch, plus wet ammo storage. They served both in Europe after the Normandy landings, and in the Pacific Theater as the Allies ground toward victory. Battle System This battle system emanates infrared light when the gun is fired. When the light sensor unit receives a hit, MC-06 Control Unit produces various effects such as damage and engine trouble sounds, speed reduction, as well as the depression of the main gun when "knocked out". Easy Operation Left stick controls forward/reverse and left/right turning, while right stick controls turret rotation and gun elevation. Main/machine gun firing and engine start/stop can be operated by 4 buttons. Volume adjustment and tank mode change can also be operated by the transmitter. Here Comes a Turbo Three wins in 1980 for the Renault RE-20 Turbo were a great reward for the French company's work on the turbocharged engine, and proved to the world that turbo technology had the potential to win races. Renault was the first manufacturer to enter a turbo engine car in the top class of racing, in 1977: the RS-01, and by 1979 they had developed it further into a twin turbo design, employed in the ground effect RS-10, which scored the first ever turbo engine car victory. The following year, it was the turn of the RE-20, which weighed in 30kg lighter than the RS-10 and employed a 1.5-liter twin turbo V6 DOHC engine; limited by regulations to half of the capacity of naturally aspirated rivals, it nonetheless provided around 520hp. The car featured a ground effect design with a slimline central monocoque flanked by side pontoons, and its success arguably paved the way for the turbo era of top class racing. Features This is a 1/12 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 389mm, width: 184mm. Front and rear suspension setups feature internal coil springs and mirror the mechanism of the full size car. A highly detailed recreation of the V6 turbo engine features renderings of turbocharger and intercooler details, and even has cables and tubing depicted. Body and nose cowlings are removable, and internal features such as frame and side pontoon cooling systems can be admired after completion. Front wheels are steered via the wheel in the cockpit. Side pontoons can be moved up and down. Realistic synthetic rubber tires also feature sidewall detailing. Cockpit details such as seatbelt, shifter and pedals add an extra layer of authenticity. A Pioneer Renowned as one of the pioneers of the wing car era, the Lotus Type 78 debuted in the 1977 Argentine Grand Prix to much acclaim for its sleek, aerodynamic form. The inverted gull wing shaping on the underside of its side pontoons generated significant downforce via the "ground effect," without adding significant drag, giving the Type 78 exemplary cornering speed. In the highly capable hands of Mario Andretti and Gunnar Nilsson, it triumphed in the United States Grand Prix West, and the Spanish, French, Italian and Belgian Grand Prix. It raced into the first half of the 1978 season, and helped put the Lotus team firmly back on the map. This model kit recreates the famous Lotus Type 78, which was driven by Mario Andretti and Gunnar Nilsson. The Lotus Type 78 made its name in history as the first full-fledged wing car in Formula One. The race car has a slender body based on a sharp wedge shape, and the inside of the side pontoon has a wing shape that is upside down with inverted aircraft- like wings to achieve a greater down force effect without increasing air resistance. Dressed to Impress Released in October 1969, the Nissan Fairlady Z went on to become a world-renowned high performance sports car. A stylish long nose, short deck body was married with a 2-liter inline-6 engine and cushioned by 4-wheel independent strut suspension. The 240Z was an export version with 2.4-liter engine that was also released for the Japanese market in November 1971 on the back of excellent race performance. Riviera Legend The Tyrrell team made their Formula One bow in 1968 using the Matra Ford and quickly achieved excellent results, with a drivers' championship for Jackie Stewart the next season. From the 11th race of 1970 in Canada, the team debuted the in-house designed 001, which paved the way for the 003 and 002 cars piloted in 1971 by Stewart and François Cevert respectively. While a unique integrated front wing and nose with radiator just below caught the eye, the 003 utilized an otherwise orthodox, reliable setup.
