Tamiya 60795 1/72 Grumman F...
$66.95
From the 1970s until its retirement in 2006, the F-14 Tomcat was a fearsome carrier fighter with its powerful radar and long-range missiles. Originally designed for carrier air defense, in the 1990s it was also tabbed for ground attack work on account of its superior payload capacity and range. At the end of that decade Tomcats became capable of long-range surgical strikes with LANTIRN pod and laser-guided bombs. The F-14D inherited its F110-GE-400 engines from the F-14B, and was given a new digital radar system whose faster processing times and enhanced capability turned the Tomcat into a true multi-role fighter also capable of ground attack and reconnaissance missions. The F-14D was delivered to units from 1992 and was active in Afghanistan and Iraq; it was a vital cog in the Navy machine until it was retired in 2006.

Tamiya 24235 1/24 Austin Mi...
$36.95
Genius designer Sir Alec Issigonis was the driving force behind the quintessential British automobile, the Mini. In 1959, the British Motor Company released two versions of the Mini based on their Morris and Austin brands-the Morris Mini Minor and the Austin Seven. The most salient characteristic of the Mini was its roominess. Despite a 3m body length, the Mini could comfortably fit four large adults with room to spare. This economy of space was accomplished by using a compact two-box layout, which positioned the transmission and gearbox in the oil sump. Four-wheel independent suspension and small diameter 10" wheels ensured a low and balanced ride. The popularity of the Mini grew and soon the Mk.II and Mk.III versions were born. In 1961, John Cooper of British racing fame souped-up the engine and introduced it to the public as the Morris Mini Cooper. Later, the Mini Cooper S was also created for race and rally participation. The finest version of the "S" type, the Mini Cooper 1275S Mk.I was released in 1964. It featured a 1275cc engine and was entered in the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally, among many higher-powered opponents. What it lacked in power, it made up for in nimbleness, taking the overall victory in the "64, "65 and "67 races. Both the Morris and Austin versions of the Mini Cooper S were built, differing from each other only in grill design and emblem. And while a new version of Mini was announced in September 2000, the worldwide popularity of the original Mini remains as strong as ever.

Tamiya 24130 1/24 Mini Coop...
$37.95
The Morris Mini was introduced in October 1959 and was a departure from automotive designs of that era. By using a 2-box styling, they produced a four seat compact car about 3 meters in length that used a front engine, front wheel drive layout to keep the passenger compartment flat. It initially had an 848cc, 34hp engine, which allowed a speed of 115km/h.
This outstanding design allowed 80% of the overall car length for driver and passenger space, which provided room for four large adults to be seated comfortably. Its patented "Hydrolastic" four wheel independent suspension system was another of its excellent innovations. This superbly balanced car also performed well on racing circuits, and John Cooper of British racing fame, souped-up the engine and introduced it to the public as the Morris Mini Cooper. A series of modification began in 1961 using a 997cc, 55hp engine followed by a 1071cc, 67.5hp version and in 1963 the popular 1275cc, 75hp car came out. The competition version was known as the "Works Mini" and used a 1293cc powerplant, which filled the 1300cc class requirement, and put out 91hp.
The racing Mini proved its potential by dominating races held in 1964 & 65. It won the 1967, 1300cc class title in the British Saloon Car Championships (BSCC), the 1968 European Touring Car Challenge, and again clinched the BSCC title that same year. With its many track and rally successes, the Mini Cooper is a true motorsports gem.

Tamiya 24039 1/24 Morris Mi...
$33.95
Many people who visited the London Motor Show in October 1959 met an unfamiliar sight at the stand of Austin and Morris of the British Motor Company. It had a strange styling which was quite different from the current cars at that time; however most thought it was cute. They could not quite believe that this car could seat comfortably, four large British gentlemen or stout women, in a car that had a length of 3.05m and a width of 1.41m. If they had known the amount of time and trouble that the designers had taken to accomplish this feat, they would have better understood why this was not only practical, but feasible as well.
Prior to the release of the Austin seven and the Morris Mini Minor, the Austin A40, designed by Pininfarina of Italy had been successful in using the 2 box styling. This same design styling was adopted for the Mini Cooper. A front wheel drive was selected to keep the floor paneling level flat. A small powerful engine was selected and developed to be mounted sideways, in front, and driving the small diameter 10" wheels, which were laid out at the four corners of the body.
By this design, 80% of the overall length could be utilized for the passengers and driver, and to further increase the space, the gearbox was installed in the oil sump of the engine. The suspension system of the Mini was one of its most excellent features. Four wheel independent suspension using a double wishbone and a rear trailing arm and the springing was a rubber, semipneumatic, liquid filled and the front and rear wheels were joined together with a thin pipe to equalize the pressures during running. This type of dampening, using hydraulic springing is very compact, so that it could all be mounted without interfering with the passenger compartment. It was patented under the name of "Hydrolastic". The designer of this vehicle was sir Alec Issigonis, a Greek who became a naturalized British subject, and well known throughout the British automobile industry.

The Mazda Savanna RX-7 made its debut in 1978, and the car featured sleek lines on its lightweight monocoque body with low-profile nose and retractable headlights. A two-rotor rotary engine was capable of 130hp, and the front midship layout gave the car optimum weight distribution, which was one of the secrets to its exemplary handling. In 1980, Mazda gave the RX-7 a minor model change, making the SE Limited model the most luxurious of the four types on offer. Creature comforts such as the sunroof and bucket type leather seats were joined by aluminum wheels, while lightening the car by over 30 kilograms and refining its nose further improved fuel efficiency. This car spawned a legion of rotary engine fans and is an integral part of Mazda’s history.

The Mercedes-AMG GT3 is one of the world's most popular Customer Racing cars. Equipped with innovative motorsport technologies such as the optional drop-start function or state-of-the-art aerodynamics, it delivers tremendous reliability and high-level performance. It is characterised by excellent drivability and pioneering safety standards. Powered by an AMG 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 generates a maximum torque of 650 Nm and an output of 550 hp (404 kW). Now, it is recreated by this assembly kit radio control car model, with a detailed polycarbonate body and wing, plus stickers to decorate it. The 251mm short wheelbase version of the TT-02 chassis is paired with black type wheels and racing slick tires.
The TT-02 chassis is a proven platform to begin enthusiasts hobby journey into the world of R/C 4WD on-road. This kit recreates the 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, which sits on top of the TT-02 chassis. Compared to the AMG GT3, the EVO variant is built specifically for LMGT3 racing by reducing power and downforce. For prospective R/C racing enthusiasts, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO offers excellent balance due to the long engine compartment shape and the rounded roof line. Additionally, the polycarbonate wing with ABS wing stays provide the necessary downforce to keep the car glued to any circuit or parking lot running.
TT-02: Adaptable, balanced shaft driven 4WD
The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to give excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a range of 10 possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports. Black mesh design wheels use semi-pneumatic slick tires.
