$49.95
This is a re-release model of the M60A3 tank. Together with the M1 Abrams, the M60A3 formed the core of U.S. tank forces during the 1980s. The turret, too, was manufactured from cast iron, and was mounted with a 105mm gun with thermal sleeve to provide protection from barrel distortion. Other technologically-advanced additions at the time included a laser based rangefinder and ballistic computer, allowing the M60A3 to pack a fearsome punch. Production began in 1978, and the 3,600 examples produced went on to fulfil a leading military role for in excess of 20 years.

The TT-02 chassis is an easy to build and proven platform. It’s perfect for enthusiasts to begin their hobby journey into the world of R/C 4WD on-road racing or simple parking lot fun with friends. This kit recreates the Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 EVO II, which sits on top of the TT-02 chassis as it raced in 1991in the renowned DTM series.
About the Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 EVO II
The German Touring Car racing series known as DTM began its roots in 1984 with significant rule changes over the decades. In the early 1990’s interest in the series reached elevated levels as Mercedes Benz battled archrival BMW among other brands for on-track supremacy. During DTM’s championship contention, Mercedes introduced 190 E 2.5-16 EVO II in 1991. Based upon the compact Mercedes-Benz 190 E, it was given improved aerodynamics with components such as over fenders, front and rear spoilers and a large rear wing, and employed a 2.5-liter inline-4 DOHC engine capable of 340hp. In the same year, the works team car sponsored by German beer brand König Pilsener secured second place in the Championship and brought the Manufacturer’s Championship to Mercedes-Benz.
Adaptable TT-02 Chassis offers balanced shaft driven 4WD.
The shaft driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to offer excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a range of 10 possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports.
This car took part in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) in 1991. Based upon the compact Mercedes-Benz 190 E, it was given improved aerodynamics with components such as over fenders, front and rear spoilers and a large rear wing, and employed a 2.5-liter inline-4 DOHC engine capable of 340hp. Its L/55 120mm gun is a carryover from the A6 variant which - when using the latest ammunition - can take on enemy armor up to five kilometers away. Other design evolutions include a sight device to amplify vision in poor visibility, new tracks and a new turret rear basket. 104 existing tanks are to be upgraded to A7V spec, and units began receiving them in September 2021.

Tamiya welcomes an updated re-issue of Item 24016 1/24 Mazda Savanna RX-7 (originally sold in 1981: motorized at that time) with changed C Parts molding color (changed from black to brown), updated decals, instruction manual and packaging, plus newly-included masking stickers. The Mazda Savanna RX-7 made its debut in 1978, and the car featured sleek lines on its lightweight monocoque body with low-profile nose and retractable headlights. A two-rotor rotary engine was capable of 130hp, and the front midship layout gave the car optimum weight distribution, which was one of the secrets to its exemplary handling. In 1980, Mazda gave the RX-7 a minor model change, making the SE Limited model the most luxurious of the four types on offer. Creature comforts such as the sunroof and bucket type leather seats were joined by aluminum wheels, while lightening the car by over 30 kilograms and refining its nose further improved fuel efficiency. This car spawned a legion of rotary engine fans and is an integral part of Mazda’s history.

About the Golf II 16V
The FF drivetrain Golf is one of Volkswagen’s most iconic cars. From its first appearance in 1974, Volkswagen Golf continued to develop and lead the worldwide compact car class. In 1986, the Golf II GTI 16V was added to the second-generation model Golf II line up which had made its debut in 1983. With a 1,781cc inline-4 DOHC 16-valve engine, a tuned car took part in global rally races, and in the U.S. became a fan favourite hatchback of the 1980s era.
The MB-01 Chassis
The compact, 2WD MB-01 chassis gives a choice of three types of wheelbases, and a front- or rear- wheel drive system. Without removing battery pack, motor, and R/C equipment setups from the centre frame, simply change attachment directions of final gears and steering linkage to switch between front- and rear-wheel drive; low or high motor position can be chosen for rear-wheel drive cars. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features symmetrical structure and friction dampers. Unitized sections such as motor mount, final gears and suspension facilitate ease of assembly and effective maintenance.

About the Peugeot
Based upon the FF hatchback Peugeot 306, the Peugeot 306 Maxi was developed with dedicated components for rallying. A 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine in front was capable of 280hp, and the car had enlarged fenders, roof spoiler, and a lightened body. Including the victories in 1996 and 1997 rally races in France, this car achieved many racing successes such as the class championship in the 1996 rally in Monte Carlo and third place in the 5th and 6th races on the 1997 global rally circuit. This R/C model assembly kit is inspired by such rally champions.
