Honda Rs1000 Endurance Kit This is Tamiya's 1/12 scale model kit of the Honda RS1000 Endurance from Tamiya. Honda RS1000 was part of the 1981 Endurance World Championships. Features an air-cooled 4-cylinder DOHC 999cc engine capable of 150hp. Cowling was slightly enlarged to reduce rider fatigue during the grueling races. Following Israel's declaration of independence in 1948, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) chose the M4 Sherman as its first mainstay tank. In the mid-1950s, the IDF purchased a sizable number of M4A1 Shermans, which were armed with the 76.2mm M1 gun, to counter Arab armies' T-34-85s. These tanks were designated M1 Super Sherman according to their armament in order to distinguish them from earlier variants equipped with 75mm guns. Many featured curved cast hulls, air-cooled radial gasoline engines, and Vertical Volute Spring Suspension (VVSS). They first saw action when the Suez Crisis broke out on October 29, 1956, and some soldiered on until the 1970s. Features 1/35 scale plastic assembly kit of the M1 Super Sherman. 1/48 Scale German Leopard 2 Main Combat Tank A7V Following the release of Item 35387 1/35 German Main Battle Tank Leopard 2 A7V, we are delighted to announce the appearance of the Leopard 2 A7V in the 1/48 Military Miniature Series. The model recreates the Leopard 2 A7V succinctly yet realistically. This kit uses one-third of the number of parts used for Item 35387, which ensures ease of assembly but an accurate depiction. Leopard 2 A7V In May 2017 it was decided to give the Bundeswehr Leopard 2 tank an upgrade in the form of the Leopard 2 A7V; building upon the A7 variant, the A7V has additional hull front armor to increase its survivability, with new running gear to compensate for the extra weight. Its L/55 120mm gun is a carryover from the A6 variant which - when using the latest ammunition - can take on enemy armor up to five kilometers away. Other design evolutions include a sight device to amplify vision in poor visibility, new tracks and a new turret rear basket. 104 existing tanks are to be upgraded to A7V spec, and units began receiving them in September 2021. 1/24 Scale Mastercard Savanna RX-7 Tamiya welcomes an updated re-issue of Item 24016 1/24 Mazda Savanna RX-7 (originally sold in 1981: motorized at that time) with changed C Parts molding color (changed from black to brown), updated decals, instruction manual and packaging, plus newly-included masking stickers. As WWII progressed and German forces lost their air superiority amid fierce Allied raids in the sky, Germany looked to bolster ground to air defense with the development of self propelled anti-aircraft guns based upon tanks and half-track vehicles. The 8ton half-track (Sd.Kfz.7/2) was one of those such weapons. The half-track chassis employed had a proven track record towing 88mm guns, but was now fitted with its own 3.7cm anti-aircraft cannon that could fire 160 rounds per minute. Produced from 1943, later variants were also fitted with armor on the driver seat and radiator. Features This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 200mm, width: 70mm. The Yamaha FZR750R was a street-legal version of the dominant YZF750 race bike. The Sherman tank was a staple of the Allied effort in WWII, with a total of about 50,000 vehicles produced, among which were a host of different variants such as the M4 Sherman 105mm Howitzer, a variant used in fire support. The M4 hull featured rolled steel plates, and it employed a 9-cylinder air-cooled radial engine in the rear which powered the front sprockets via a 5-speed transmission with reverse; the 105mm gun fired howitzer rounds, smoke rounds and incendiary ammunition. The late production vehicle had horizontal vertical spring suspension (HVSS) and 840 units were produced, providing infantry support and taking part in assaults on enemy strongpoints from Europe to the Pacific Theater. Controlled Differential Steering System In WWII, the average tracked vehicle used a clutch brake system, whereby the sprocket on the turning side was braked to create a difference in speed between the tracks and let the vehicle turn. While it did enable pivot turns on the spot by completely stopping one track, it required considerable skill to operate, not to mention the fact that it experienced mechanical power loss and a tendency to overheat the brakes. On the other hand, the M4 Sherman used a controlled differential system that braked a sprocket wheel via a differential gear: as the turning side track slowed, the other track sped up, leading to smooth turns and in one fell swoop both minimizing mechanical loss and negating brake overheating issues. This system was also employed on the M24, the M8, and the M2 high speed tractor, vehicles which all contributed to the eventual success of the Allied WWII campaign. Features This is a 1/16 scale R/C model assembly kit. Just like the actual tank, the model uses a controlled differential steering system. Metal components are used for drive sprockets, suspension arms and idler wheel bases. The horizontal vertical spring suspension (HVSS) uses metal coil springs. Pre-assembled plastic tracks use metal pins and connectors. Mechanical Steering System A differential gear transfers power from the Type 540 motor. When the tracks rotate at the same speed the model moves in a straight line, turning as the track speeds differ: transmitter commands cause servo movement, which in turn slows the turning side track via one of the brake discs in the differential. A planetary gearbox in the differential unit speeds up the unbraked track. Requires 2-channel R/C system R6/AA/UM3 batteries for transmitter Battery pack & charger The compact, rather tall form of this Sherman was thanks to its use of a 9-cylinder radial engine. A close up on the turret and its realistic depiction of cast metal surfaces. The loader's hatch (turret left) is a moving part, and the commander's hatch on the cupola can be assembled open or closed. A commander figure in M1 helmet is included in the kit. The detailed M2 heavy machine gun even has a separately molded ammunition case.   Metal barrel and cover for the hull front machine gun are separate parts for even more realism. Plenty of accessories are on hand: shovel, jack, axe and more. They are separately molded parts. Lots more accessories are on show here, too: from K-ration boxes to ammunition cases and Jerry cans. Decals are used for markings on the cases. The upper hull is attached via this catch on the chassis. A duralumin frame gives the model excellent durability. The central battery is flanked on the right by the motor, and on the left by the servo. The steering system uses a planetary differential gear in a setup close to that of the full-size tank. Tough plastic tracks have metal pins and connectors and come pre-assembled. The drive sprockets are die-cast components. The operational HVSS suspension uses metal coil springs. The model is controlled in the same way as an R/C car.   Take control with a standard wheel and trigger type 2-channel R/C unit (sold separately).

During WWII, U.S. forces developed the M10 tank destroyer with 76.2mm gun, but it was not effective against powerful German tanks such as the Tiger and Panther. Perched upon the M10A1 chassis equipped with a 450hp gasoline engine, the M36 employed a new open top turret and a 90mm gun. The M36 saw its first action on the Franco-German border in October 1944 and continued until the German surrender in May 1945. Over 1,000 M36s were deployed among 21 battalions and contributed to the Allied forces’ advance. This model assembly kit recreates the U.S. Tank Destroyer M36. The subject was first released in 1968 as a motorized single motor kit. It’s now been recreated from the ground up with new tooling, except for the M2 machine gun and clear parts used in other Tamiya WW2 kits that use these newer parts. This radio-controlled model assembly kit recreates the Peugeot 306 Maxi. The kit is based on the beginner-friendly and highly customizable BT-01 chassis, which allows hobbyists to grow as their driving and building skills develop. Like the full-size car it depicts, the chassis configuration on the BT-01 chassis is set up in the front motor, front drive configuration for unparalleled realism. About the Peugeot Based upon the FF hatchback Peugeot 306, the Peugeot 306 Maxi was developed with dedicated components for rallying. A 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine in front was capable of 280hp, and the car had enlarged fenders, roof spoiler, and a lightened body. Including the victories in 1996 and 1997 rally races in France, this car achieved many racing successes such as the class championship in the 1996 rally in Monte Carlo and third place in the 5th and 6th races on the 1997 global rally circuit. This R/C model assembly kit is inspired by such rally champions. The BT-01 Chassis The 2WD BT-01 chassis gives the choice of two types of wheelbases, and front-or rear-wheel drive system. Without removing the battery pack, motor, and R/C equipment setups from the centre frame, simply change attachment directions of final gears and steering linkage to switch between front-and rear-wheel drive; front (FR) or midship rear (MR) motor position can be chosen for rear-wheel drive cars. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features symmetrical structure and friction dampers.
