Built on a pickup truck chassis, large diameter tires and big engines with massive horsepower were installed by fun-loving American off-roaders to create the monster truck. These ever-popular monster trucks can be seen on specially-made racing circuits or jumping rows of cars in stadiums across the USA. Many R/C monster truck models have been produced over the years. First among equals is the legendary 1/8 scale USA-1 that embodied the might of American trucking power during the 1980’s and 90’s. Officially licensed by Kyosho in the 1990’s, the R/C model uniquely captured the power and glory of the USA-1. Now it’s ‘comeback-time’ for the USA-1, with modern chassis and drivetrain technology, upgrades unique to the USA-1 throughout, and a newly-designed ‘ULTRA SCALE BODY’ with form and detail finished to display-model standards. The iconic American flag graphic emblazoned on the body makes your heart swell with pride! The chassis features shaft-driven 4WD and 5-link suspension based on the Mad Crusher 2.0 and FO-XX models. Most of the suspension components have been uniquely upgraded and reinforced for the USA-1 at each point to handle the powerful new KE25SP2 engine, and the rigors of monster trucking. A 3-speed automatic transmission produces dynamic acceleration, which is enhanced by a true suspension system to produce "scale" running characteristics worthy of the prestigious USA-1, and make you feel like a monster truck driving god. Released as a pre-assembled Readyset, the USA-1 is almost ready for action straight out of the box.
Rigid Chassis Design
The combination of the rigid frame with a shaft-driven 4WD system and five-link suspension is well-suited to handle the full grunt of the powerful new engine, just like the original machine. This Readyset model comes with R/C system pre-installed.
Polycarbonate Body
Under license by USA-1, the newly developed polycarbonate body has been produced to a spectacular level of detail with body size and tire ratio almost identical to that of the real USA-1. With separately molded accessory body parts including grille, carburetor, mirrors, roll cage, chassis-mounted front bumper, and removable 5-series fog light row on the roof, the spirit and legend of the USA-1 is captured in all its glory.
Triple Carburetors
Molded and chrome-plated triple carburetors look identical to those used on the real truck, which looks awesome sticking through the hood once the body is attached. Coupled with the growl of the powerful engine, this accessory creates even more original details of the USA-1 more than ever.
KE25SP2 Engine
Equipped with a new KE25SP2 engine, the easier-to-adjust low-speed needle makes it easier to produce more power than the previous KE25SP engine. The engine is fitted with a pull starter so a starter box isn’t required and engine settings have been optimized at the factory.
Automatic Transmission
The time-tested 3-speed automatic transmission effectively utilizes the full power of the engine. In the low speed range, the torque of the engine is optimized by the ratio of first gear, while the 2nd gear covers the medium speed range where torque tends to be insufficient. Acceleration to maximum speed is achieved smoothly and efficiently.
Differentials
Differentials in the front and rear axles are taken directly from a well-developed World Champion 1/8-scale off-road car, and are equipped with metal ring, pinion, and spider gears to handle the power of the 25-class (approx. 4.2cc) engine, all while managing the difference in rotation between the left and right tires during turns for smooth, stable driving characteristics and increased traction.
5-Link Suspension
A 5-link suspension platform controls the rigid front and rear axles to minimize drive loss and deliver superior traction and handling over uneven and varying running surfaces. The large-capacity oil shocks reliably help to absorb the impacts from the running surface.
Reinforced Axle Housing
The reinforced axle housing thrives under high-power and rough road conditions while improving crash resistance. The scale aspects of the dynamic steering options of the early monster trucks can be enhanced with the addition of optional rear wheel steering to create a true AWS (All-Wheel Steering) system.
Rigid Suspension
Combination of big tires with 5-link suspension provides plenty of stroke to overcome large obstacles. Lateral rods that increase suspension rigidity are also standard equipment on front and rear.

The Axial UTB10 Capra 1.9 4WS 4X4 Unlimited Trail Buggy isn't for overlanding or Sunday drives. This is a true rock crawler, meant for the most challenging trails and obstacles. It's the Axial rig that set the standard for 1/10 scale trail buggies — and now, it has raised the bar once again.
Highlighting this next-level 1/10 scale trail buggy is an all-new transmission with lower gearing for even better crawling capabilities. That feature joins many others — including 4-wheel steering, portal axles, Spektrum electronics, and Pro-Line OE (Original Equipment) tires and wheels — to make the Capra superior to its competition in every possible way. This rig is ready for any trail, obstacle, or hill. It's a crawler that doesn't compromise.
This updated Capra has an improved final drive ratio of 45.37:1 (6.31 internal) compared to 31.4:1 (4.37 internal). This is 45% lower than the previous model, vastly improving the climbing ability and power of this rig.
The Capra's 4-wheel steering (4WS) is such an advantage compared to 2-wheel steering (2WS) crawlers that it may almost feel like cheating! Using the third channel button of the included Spektrum DX3 transmitter, you can steer the rear axle full left, straight, and full right to position the tires perfectly for conquering obstacles. The user can program the DX3 to enable a 5-position rear steer switch for even for more tunability. In full-scale crawling competition, such subtle maneuvering is a must to avoid losing points from reversing or hitting a marker on the course. With the Capra, you experience more true rock crawling realism.
The Capra's tube chassis not only looks like a real trail buggy, but is optimized for suspension and tire clearance. Licensed Currie F9 Portal Axles also increase ground clearance while turning the scale Pro-Line OE Holcomb 1.9 wheels and Pro-Line OE Mickey Thompson Baja Pro X tires. The tires feature aggressive tread for out-crawling the competition. Dual stage, open cell foam inserts are included, with soft outer foam and firm inner foam to improve grip and sidewall support. Both axles feature metal universals for a smooth, efficient, and durable drivetrain.
Nothing more is needed to complete the ready-to-run Capra except your choice of battery and charger. The included Spektrum DX3 transmitter is fully compatible with the Smart telemetry potential of the rig's Spektrum Firma 40A Smart ESC and Spektrum SR515 DSMR 5-channel receiver. Install a Spektrum Smart LiPo pack, and you can follow on-board battery capacity on the transmitter's voltage level indicator as you maneuver confidently in any weather and trail conditions. The electronics are protected by a waterproof and dustproof design.

4-WHEEL STEERING (4WS)
Trail buggies with 2-wheel steering (2WS) don't stand a chance against the 4-wheel steering (4WS) of the Capra. Being able to steer with the front and rear axles gives you an enormous advantage. Using the third channel button of the included Spektrum DX3 transmitter, you can steer the rear axle full left, straight, and full right to position the tires for easy and fast maneuverability.
LICENSED CURRIE F9 PORTAL AXLES
Licensed Currie F9 portal axles increase ground clearance and durability, giving the Capra another edge over standard axle trail buggies. The axles are designed specifically for the best performance when crawling, offering over 45% of steering with extra ground clearance. The improved, "ramp style" third member also reduces hang ups.

Now, its top-tier RB7 has evolved into the upgraded RB7.5, incorporating numerous refinements to enhance performance.The new model adopts big-bore oil shocks equipped with X-ring seals for smoother operation and leak prevention. This rear-wheel-drive off-road buggy features a midship layout, positioning the motor just ahead of the rear wheels. The high-rigidity duralumin main chassis has undergone slight modifications, while the proven low-profile gearbox and other key components have been carried over from the Ultima RB7.
A new body based on the superb aerodynamics of the RB7, features design modifications to the rear cabin to further enhance efficiency. The rear wing has also been redesigned for increased strength, generating powerful and stable downforce.
The front and rear shock stays have been upgraded from the RB7's plastic material to 4mm thick carbon fiber, significantly enhancing strength and rigidity. The new design provides better protection against damage during rollovers, and a resin protector comes standard to safeguard both carpet and artificial grass surfaces.
New aluminum oil shocks with 13mm pistons enhance stability at high speeds and over uneven surfaces while effectively absorbing landing impacts. The springs have also been upgraded for improved performance.
The aluminum steering crank and plate ensure smooth operation and high rigidity, enhancing steering response. Additionally, the upper bulkhead shape has been modified to prevent interference with the servo horn.
The completely redesigned aluminum rear hub carriers allow for changes in upper rod length by adjusting spacer thickness, increasing the capacity for ball bearings. The height of the suspension pins can be adjusted by replacing the resin bushings.
The new rear bulkhead features a separate upper rod mounting point. The aluminum upper rod mount enhances suspension rigidity and allows for tuning of the suspension geometry by adjusting the rod mounting height.
The LCG battery mount allows forward-back weight distribution adjustments and features a tool-free, one-touch system for quick battery installation and removal.

England 1987 was the scene of the 2nd IFMAR (International Federation of Model Race Cars) electric off-road world championships. In addition to the standard Optima, Team Kyosho entered a midship motor mounted prototype in the 4WD Class. Racing under its ‘Mid Optima’ project name, the prototype stunned the world making up five of the ten cars to qualify through to the A-Main Final, but unfortunately missing out of the top prize in finishing a credible 2nd to demonstrate its outstanding performance potential. The prototype was close to the final product released to the market under its official name ‘Optima Mid’ allowing racers around the world to experience its revolutionary capabilities. Still as popular as the original back in 1980, the Optima Mid joined esteemed company as part of the Kyosho Vintage Series with its revival in 2022. To commemorate Kyosho’s 60th anniversary in 2023, the original World Championship prototype spec Optima Mid will be released as a limited edition. While sharing the same basic configuration as the standard Optima Mid, the World Championship prototype featured several optional parts as standard and a special body, which has been recreated with a new mold and combined with a large polycarbonate rear wing. A dedicated decal is also included to reproduce the original color scheme. Aluminum parts have been changed from the original gold color to a chic gun metallic in combination with special color wheels to create a style unique to the limited edition 60th anniversary model. Based on the off-road KB10 chassis, the long wheelbase and short tread of the KB10L chassis matches the body perfectly. The shaft-driven 4WD system reliably transfers the brute power of the TORX10L brushless motor to reach top speeds of about 75km/h under the management of the ESC (Electronic Speed Control) and a compatible 3S (11.1V) lipo battery. This convenient Readyset package contains the fun of an ultra-scale pickup truck on a dynamic off-road chassis with a finish similar in quality to premium display-only models.

Oil shocks reliably attenuate feedback from the road surface to stabilize the chassis while driving. Pre-mounted shocks are pre-filled with oil and spring rate (hardness) has been optimized for the KB10L chassis.
Turnbuckle rods on suspension and steering make it easy to adjust the camber and toe angle. Extendable resin universal shafts on the lower suspension arms are interchangeable between front and rear for parts and maintenance efficiency.
Newly adopted center differential in the KB10L chassis optimizes power distribution to front and rear wheels through corners for smooth turning performance. IF245 steel spur gear for the 1/8 scale buggy Inferno NEO series can be installed as an optional part.(One BRG005 bearing is required separately.)
Equipped with sintered metal 4-bevel differential gears on the front and rear with the capacity to handle high-power brushless motors. IS117 hard bevel gear for the 1/8 model Inferno NEO ST 3.0 can be installed as an optional part.(BRG005 bearing is required separately.)
