The Nemeth Parasol is a short take-off and landing aircraft designed by former aviation instructor Steven Nemeth and built by the University of Miami, making its first flight in 1934. A low-aspect-ratio circular wing attached to the fuselage of the Alliance Argo commercial biplane enabled stable flight, and a slow landing speed of 40km/h provided safe landings. It was unfortunately not researched or developed further, and only one was ever built; the fate of this aircraft is unknown. AModel 1/72 Antonov An-26, ... $ PRICE IN PROGRESS!
The Antonov An-26 (NATO reporting name: Curl) was a Soviet twin-engine, high-wing transport aircraft of the Cold War era. Power was provided by two Ivchenko AI-24T turboprop engines , each developing 2,820 hp, and an auxiliary RU-19-A jet engine. The prototype first flew in 1969, and series production lasted from 1969 to 1986. A total of approximately 1,400 aircraft of this type, in all versions, were built. The Antonov An-26 was designed as a de facto development of the An-24T. Compared to its predecessor, the new aircraft gained a rear ramp, significantly speeding up unloading and loading. The aircraft also received an auxiliary jet engine, significantly facilitating takeoff from high-altitude airfields and in hot and tropical climates. During production, numerous developments of the aircraft were created, including the An-26 (basic version), the An-26B (civilian transport version), and the An-26D (extended-range version). Many aircraft of this type remain in service. Includes Sprues with parts 1 frame of transparent plastic (canopy) Decal (sticker) Scheme for painting model Detailed instruction

AMP 1/32 Hughes Oh-6 Cayuse $ PRICE IN PROGRESS!
The Hughes OH-6A Cayuse is a light observation helicopter developed for the United States Army as part of the Light Observation Helicopter (LOH) programme. Designed and manufactured by Hughes Helicopters, the OH-6A became widely known by its nickname “Loach” (Light Observation Helicopter) and earned a strong reputation for agility, reliability, and survivability. Featuring a compact fuselage and a powerful turboshaft engine, the OH-6A offered exceptional manoeuvrability and a small visual and radar signature, making it ideal for reconnaissance, target acquisition, liaison, and command support roles. Its excellent low-speed handling and ability to operate close to the ground allowed crews to observe enemy activity in challenging environments, particularly during the Vietnam War. The helicopter could be flown unarmed or fitted with light weapons such as machine guns or rocket pods, depending on mission requirements. Its versatility also extended to medical evacuation, artillery spotting, and escort duties when operating as part of hunter-killer teams alongside armed attack helicopters. The OH-6A Cayuse became one of the most iconic light helicopters of its era, influencing later observation and scout helicopter designs and remaining a symbol of airborne reconnaissance operations during the Cold War period.

The Brantly B-2 is an American two-seat light helicopter produced by the Brantly Helicopter Corporation. After the failure of his first design, the Brantly B-1, Newby O. Brantly decided to design a simpler and less complicated helicopter for the private buyer. The B-2 had a single main rotor and an anti-torque tail rotor and first flew on 21 February 1953. This was followed by an improved second prototype that first flew on 14 August 1956. The B-2A was introduced with a modified cabin, and the B-2B had a larger 180 hp fuel-injected engine. The B-2B has a three-bladed articulated main rotor and an all-metal fuselage, it can be operated with skid, wheel or float landing gear. The piston engine is fitted vertically in the fuselage behind the cabin.

AMP 1/144 Boeing 747Sp Sofia $ PRICE IN PROGRESS!
The Boeing 747 Airborne Telescope, known as SOFIA (Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy), was a unique airborne observatory operated by NASA in collaboration with the German Aerospace Center (DLR). Based on a heavily modified Boeing 747SP, SOFIA was equipped with a powerful, high-altitude telescope that allowed it to study celestial objects and phenomena in infrared wavelengths, which are largely inaccessible to ground-based observatories due to the Earth's atmosphere. SOFIA made groundbreaking contributions to astronomy, particularly in the study of star formation, planetary atmospheres, and the composition of distant galaxies. Aircraft Platform (Boeing 747SP): SOFIA was built on a modified Boeing 747SP, a shortened version of the iconic Boeing 747 airliner. The 747SP variant was chosen for its ability to fly at higher altitudes (up to 45,000 feet), which is crucial for infrared observations. At these altitudes, SOFIA could operate above the majority of the Earth’s water vapor, allowing it to capture clearer images of the infrared universe. Telescope Specifications: The core of SOFIA’s observational capabilities was its 2.7-meter (8.9-foot) diameter infrared reflecting telescope. The telescope was mounted in an open cavity at the rear of the aircraft, specially designed with a sliding door that could be opened mid-flight to expose the telescope to the sky while minimizing airflow turbulence around the open cavity. This design allowed the telescope to remain stable during observations. Wavelength Range: SOFIA's telescope operated in the infrared spectrum, with a wavelength range from 0.3 to 1600 microns. Infrared observations are essential for studying objects that are obscured by dust or that emit primarily in non-visible wavelengths, such as star-forming regions, distant galaxies, and even planetary atmospheres. Instruments: SOFIA was equipped with a variety of specialized instruments that could be swapped out depending on the mission. These instruments included spectrometers, cameras, and photometers designed to capture data in various infrared wavelengths. Flight Capabilities: SOFIA could fly at altitudes of up to 45,000 feet (13.7 km), which placed it above 99% of the Earth's atmospheric water vapor. This allowed it to make observations that are impossible from ground-based telescopes. A typical mission lasted 8-10 hours, with a range of around 11,500 km (7,145 miles).
