Specification The aluminum part authentically recreates the long barrel 120mm gun for the great finish. Erasing parting lines is not required. Always on Call Around 13,000 examples of this sturdy and reliable 2-ton 4x2 ambulance were produced during WWII; based upon a civilian truck, it was designed with the input of the Medical Corps and had bench seats that could be converted into two-level beds. It served in France, North Africa, Italy, and even across Western Europe after the Normandy invasion, and was often seen not just with Army units, but also at airfields and the like. In May 2017 it was decided to give the Bundeswehr Leopard 2 tank an upgrade in the form of the Leopard 2 A7V; building upon the A7 variant, the A7V has additional hull front armor to increase its survivability, with new running gear to compensate for the extra weight. Its L/55 120mm gun is a carryover from the A6 variant which - when using the latest ammunition - can take on enemy armor up to five kilometres away. Other design evolutions include a sight device to amplify vision in poor visibility, new tracks and a new turret rear basket. 104 existing tanks are to be upgraded to A7V spec, and units began receiving them in September 2021. Mighty Mouse US designers developed the M8 during WWII as an upgrade over existing half-track vehicles, using the M5 light tank chassis with an open turret on top; its 75mm M3 howitzer could fire anti-tank and smoke shells in addition to standard rounds. 1,778 M8s were produced between September 1942 and January 1944, and they wherever US units were active, until the end of the conflict: in Italy, Western Europe and the Pacific, utilizing their excellent mobility and firepower in a range of missions including attacks on enemy fortifications. Cruising to Victory While German forces had dangerous Tigers and Panthers prowling the battlefield, by the end of the conflict the British were fielding a capable answer: the Comet. With a hull based upon that of the Cromwell and a new, larger turret accomodating the Q.F. 77mm gun, it was a formidable proposition indeed. Comets took part in the March 1945 Allied crossing of the Rhine, providing vital infantry support fire; crews are said to have been happy with the balance of firepower, survivability and mobility it provided.   Features This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. A Formidable Feline When it appeared in 1942, the Tiger I represented a significant evolution in German armor, with its heavy armor and 88mm gun. Tiger Is produced between November 1942 and June 1943 can be termed early production versions, and featured a tubular cupola and hull rear air cleaners. Mainly deployed in new heavily armored battalions, early production Tiger Is were largely powerful sent to the Eastern Front, where they enjoyed clear initiality. Tamiya 32510 1/48 Jerry Can Set Plastic Model Kit

Tamiya's French tank model kits have become well known for their unique subject matter and superb historical accuracy. This kit recreates the R35. It was originally designed as a successor to the late-WWI Renault FT, and inherited its 37mm gun, paired with a cast turret and three-piece bolted cast hull. Around 1,500 were manufactured after its official adoption in 1935; they were one of the main pillars of the French attempt to resist the German onslaught during the Fall of France in May/June 1940. Features 1/35 scale plastic model kit. Length: 114mm, width: 55mm. The 37mm gun offers elevation and (as on the actual R35) 5 degrees of traverse to either side. This is a plastic assembly kit of a member of the Ground Self-Defense Force reconnaissance corpsman and his motorcycle as well as a tank crewman (total 2 figures). Features of the motorcycle including the engine area, wheel spokes, and light guard have been realistically reproduced. This is a plastic assembly model kit of the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force’s (JGSDF) Type 90 main battle tank. It entered service in 1990 and is armed with a 120mm smoothbore main gun and comes fully loaded with hi-tech equipment. The model accurately reproduces the tanks distinctive angular silhouette which features multi-composite armor. The 120mm main gun has been faithfully reproduced with the main gun's telescope lens depicted by clear transparent parts for added realism. Separately molded suspension parts provide the model with a rich detailed finish. Just like an actual tank track, this set closely resembles one piece at a time in the construction of a track. Workhorse As a part of its motorization from the years leading up to WWII, the German military took on the SS-100 - a heavy tractor based upon a commercially-developed agricultural vehicle. It was a workhose with a towing capacity of 20 tons, thanks to its highly reliable 6-cylinder water-cooled engine. Deployed by the German Army, Luftwaffe and Navy, the SS-100 towed all manner of subjects: field guns, aircraft, fuel and water tanks, V2 rockets, and even disabled vehicles, its versatility and reliability standing it in good stead.

The British Archer was a self propelled anti-tank gun used during World War 2 based on the Valentine infantry tank chassis. It was fitted with an Ordnance QF 17 pounder gun facing to the rear. There were 655 were produced between 1943 to 1945. It was used in North-West Europe and Italy during the war and post-war the Archer served with the Egyptian Army. The vehicle was unique for its gun being mounted facing the rear of the chassis instead of the front. The kit features a detailed open fighting compartment, with gun breech and shell racks. It comes also with three figures for the Commander, Loader and Gunner.

Kicking Up a Sturm This rather rare WWII German AFV featured a fearsome 38cm rocket launcher mounted upon the proven Tiger I chassis, and was developed for use against heavily fortified enemy positions, against which it would fire 1.5m long, 350kg rocket-powered projectiles. In terms of survivability, too, the Sturmtiger's fighting compartment was well-equipped, with 15cm of frontal armor and 8cm on the sides. All told, a mere 18 examples were produced, between August and December 1944; they were deployed in occupied Poland, and even on German home soil as the conflict ground to its conclusion. Features This is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit recreating the Sturmtiger. Length: 133mm, width: 78mm. NEW 2017 TOOL The Infantry Tank Mk III, Valentine, was the most numerous British-built tank of the Second World War, with over 8,000 built between 1940 and 1944. It was a rare example of a private venture tank design that was accepted for mass production. Although it was produced in large numbers, the Valentine was too lightly armoured to act as a true infantry tank. Most Valentines had a two-man turret, which reduced its efficiency in combat and was slower than most cruiser tanks. The Valentine tank was reliable and popular, and for a period in the middle of the Second World War was the main British tank. The Valentine entered service in the UK after the fall of France. It entered service with the Army Tank Brigades, where it was used as an infantry tank. During 1941 the number of new armoured divisions was outstripping the availability of cruiser tanks. To fill the gap the Valentine was issued to several divisions, and by October 1941 the 6th, 8th and 11th Armoured Divisions were equipped with the type, with 900 on strength. The 11th Armoured Division was reequipped with cruiser tanks before going into combat, but the 6th and 8th used their Valentines in combat.
