Tamiya 60777 1/72 Junkers JU-88 C.6

This is Tamiya's 1/72 scale Junkers JU-88 C-6 plastic model. The Ju-88 was produced in 1936 as a fast bomber capable of countering the powerful enemy fighters of the time. This bomber was shown to be very reliable and adaptable; able to assume the role of torpedo bombers, tank destroyers, spotters, and heavy night fighters, making it one of the most effective aircraft of World War II. This excellent night fighter with an outstanding power-to-armament ratio could accept the latest radar equipment. The first Ju-88C night fighters were based on the standard bomber design, with the exception of a new aerodynamic hard nose for their cannons and machine guns. Later models were equipped with radar and the Schrage Musik upward-firing guns, making them even more powerful night fighters. The fully assembled model is 20.2 cm long and 27.7cm wide.
