This is a set of powdered pastels that are perfect for expressing dirt, dust, and mud. Since it is in powder form from the start, you can use only the amount you need without having to rub it with a file. You can apply the powder to the kit with a dry brush as is, or dissolve it in water-based hobby color thinner or Mr. Weathering Color thinner. By using it with the Mr. Weathering Color series and other products on your kit, you can recreate a natural "dirty look."  This pigment powder is ideal for recreating soot, rust, and dust. Although polystyrene resin is designed to be relatively hard to crack, cracks and damage may occur. Avoid applying too much paint or thinner at once. We also recommend that you use another weathering paint after letting it dry well. There is a stainless steel ball in the bottle for stirring. If the base is glossy, the weathering applied will not adhere well. It will adhere better if you use it over a semi-gloss/matte paint, or apply a semi-gloss/matte clear coat to the base. However, please note that once it adheres, it will be difficult to remove with a special thinner.
