The Luftwaffe's "final blade" cutting through the blue sky!  What is the ultimate reciprocating fighter plane?. The "Ta 152"! The "Ta 152" is a special high-altitude fighter plane that was the pride of the German Air Force, which fought to the end as an ally of Japan during World War II.At that time, Germany, like Japan, needed to counter enemy bombers such as the "B-17" that flew across continents. Dr. Kurt Tank, chief designer of Focke-Wulf, advocated that "fighters should be war horses, not race horses," and the new aircraft developed based on the delicate yet bold design philosophy unique to the German Air Force was completed as the "Ta 152" named after the doctor. Only a few pre-production models, the "H-0" and the mass-production model "H-1," were deployed in combat, and it is said that with their high turning performance due to their long and beautiful wingspan like a glider, they were able to compete on equal terms with the P-51D, the best fighter plane of World War II that escorted enemy bombers. What's important here is that while the Shinden attempted a comeback with a new approach, the Ta 152 pursued high performance by sticking to a more orthodox style. This is exactly why it is called the "ultimate reciprocating fighter." Historically, theonly ace pilot of the Ta 152, Senior Sergeant Joseph Keil, was credited with shooting down a B-17. Check out the expressive and beautifully sculpted propellers! Please take a look at the "VS 9" type propeller, which is beautifully sculpted without compromising the wide, gentle outline unique to wood and the sharp edges that cut through the air. The detailed reproduction of the engine is well worth seeing! Equipped with a liquid-cooled inverted V-12 engine "Jumo 213 E". By passing the "MK 108" 30mm motor cannon through the center of the engine, it gained not only high altitude performance but also great firepower. What is the workplace like for pilots who fight at ultra-high altitudes? It is pressurized to withstand high-altitude flights of over 8,000m. The rear canopy, which slides open and closes, has a hook at the bottom of the frame that fastens it to the fuselage for pressure resistance.

The Mustang was designed to use the Allison V-1710 engine (which had limited high-altitude performance in its earlier variants). The aircraft was first flown operationally by the RAF as a tactical-reconnaissance aircraft and fighter-bomber (Mustang Mk I). Replacing the Allison with a Rolls-Royce Merlin resulted in the P-51B/C (Mustang Mk III) model and transformed the aircraft's performance at altitudes above 15,000 ft (4,600 m) (without sacrificing range), allowing it to compete with the Luftwaffe's fighters. The definitive version, the P-51D, was powered by the Packard V-1650-7, a license-built version of the two-speed two-stage-supercharged Merlin 66, and was armed with six .50 caliber (12.7 mm) M2/AN Browning machine guns. The Dornier Do 335 Pfeil ("Arrow") was a World War II heavy fighter built by the Dornier company. The two-seater trainer version was also called Ameisenbär ("anteater"). The Pfeil's performance was much better than other twin-engine designs due to its unique "push-pull" layout and the much lower aerodynamic drag of the in-line alignment of the two engines. It was Germany's fastest piston-engined aircraft of World War II. The Luftwaffe was desperate to get the design into operational use, but delays in engine deliveries meant only a handful were delivered before the war ended.High quality, precision plastic model kit. Paint and glue not included. Requires assembly and painting. For intermediate to advanced skill modellers.

The Homeland Defense's last weapon! May 1942. In order to intercept the strategic bombers coming from the enemy, the German Air Ministry required for the near future a ""special high-altitude fighter"" which specifications should be a pressurized cockpit and the capability to fly over 13,000m. As a response to this request, the Focke-Wulf Company developed as an improved model of the already fighting masterpiece Fw 190 the ultimate jet-fighter, proud to fly over 10,000m at a high speed of 750km/h, and equipped with a liquid-cooled engine back and forth, a long fuselage and long, as wide, wings. The first prototype came out in August 1943. During the last days of the Great War, the ""Ta 152"", ultimate reciprocating jet fighter demanded for the Homeland Defense, was finally born. Experience the latest evolution process of the Fw series! The production of reciprocating fighters was stopped as war conditions continue going bad to worse, as well as the fuel reserves. Anyway the sole production allowed was the Ta 152 equipped with the Jumo 213 E that used B4 fuel since it was relatively easier to produce. It shows how the last hope of those days was entrusted with this machine. And here born the "H-0", the first mass production type with its fuel tank installed on the fuselage only instead on its wings. At first, the plane went without both, the GM1and MW50 output enhancer equipment. Its main feature is the big differences with the ""H-1"", like the internal structure as well as the position of the oil inlet and the inspection port. That differences have been reproduced in details with our SWS kit thanks to an intensive investigation of the documents about the real machine. Please enjoy the latest evolution process of the Fw series with this kit!" The selected nose and propellers' shapes are the true value of SWS! The liquid-cooled engine equipped Ta 152 has an extended nose to reach higher altitudes, which gives the airplane a very special outline. That shape has been thoroughly reproduced with our SWS kit, based on the information gathering on the real machine. The line of the nose upper surface going from the window shield to the engine cowling is stronger, while the louver and the breather-our of the crank case are also reproduced in their smallest details. Also, the wide wood-enforced Junkers VS9 propellers adopted a gear shaped oil motor serving as a power source to change the angles of the propeller pitches. They are made of 3 blades of 3.6m diameter each and rotating at a constant speed. Please fully enjoy the structure of the plane as well as the propellers' shape, ""soul"" of reciprocating planes, which have always been a main part of SWS. Not only high-altitude performances, but also more firepower. That's the ""Jumo 213 E"" engine! Junkers Jumo 213 E engine is a liquid-cooled V-shaped 12 cylinders SOHC engine, adopting a direct injection fuel-system without carburetor. The motor cannons could not be equipped on the 213 A installed on the Fw 190 D-9 because of a fuel conduction passing through the whole axis section in order to change the angles of the propeller pitches, but the fuel conduction has been redesigned in this 213 E engine allowing the installation of motor cannons, which is reproduced in the kit. As for the supercharger, it is a double level - three speed with air cooler placed just behind in order to cool down the pressurized air. Then, the structure of the shrouds located inside the circular radiators, and the pipes - preferred to MG 151 machine guns initially planned to be installed on the upper surface of the nose - conducting the fresh and compressed air to the cockpit, are easy to understand with this SWS kit. Pilot life-support equipment in high altitudes! The Ta 152 H-series has a pressurized cockpit, where high pressure starts running from an altitude of 8,000m and air is secured with a maximum pressure differential of 0.23 from 14,000m. The pressurized cockpit of the Ta 152 H series has a rough external panel covered with a steel frame, while an interior air pressure adjustment and airtightness are meant to keep the pilot safe. Literally life-supporting. Furthermore, this SWS kit represents the thickness of the bullet proof glass of the window shield equipped with a 70mm electric pressure heater on the front, and also the details of the fuel spout pipe for cleaning inside the triangular side structure. This and more is the core of what you can experience by building an SWS kit. The long, big and beautiful wings, as well as the strong landing gears make up the charm of this high-altitude jet-fighter! With the H-0, the fuel tanks were inserted only in the fuselage, while with the H-1 two fuel tanks and a 70L capacity water tank have been eventually installed on the inside of the left wing, and three fuel tanks have been placed on the inside of the right wing. You may see at a glance to the panel lines of the main wing surfaces, the differences with the H-1. Since the positions of the oil-pressurized cylinders are different between the two planes, the position of the torque arm-link of the aileron steerage mechanism is also different. Thanks to the SWS techniques reproducing rationally the inner and outer structure differences of both planes, these wings can be considered as the highlight of the Ta 152, along with the robust landing gears able to absorb the shock when landing from high-altitudes. The Hs 129, feared as the "flying can opener" by the Allied soldiers, will finally be released as an impressive SWS kit in 1/32 scale! The Henschel Hs 129 was the tank buster mounted with powerful ground-attack weapons to destroy Soviet tanks in the Second World War. It was a small twin-engine aircraft with an overall width of 14.2 m and length of 9.75 m, powered by two inefficient French-made Gnome-Rhône "14 M" 14-cylinder double-row star-cooled engines (700 hp) with a range of 880 km, not much different from that of the Bf 109, and its maximum speed was 407 km/h, which was not so high. However, designed specifically for ground attacks and known to be easy to service, the Hs 129 earned a high level of trust from its pilots. Several kits have been released in the past because of its peculiar shape, but they were mainly 1/72 kits, which just replicated its outer shape. This kit brings you all the details of the structure and it function in a way that only heavily-researched SWS kits can. What makes the SWS 1/32 Hs 129 B-3 The three major points of Hs 129 B-3 The true essence of "Tank Buster" revealed by SWS. The Henschel Hs 129 was mounted with powerful ground-attack weapons to destroy Soviet tanks in the Second World War. Designed specifically for ground attacks and known to be easy to service, the Hs 129 earned a high level of trust from its pilots. This kit brings you all the details of the structure and it function in a way that only heavily-researched SWS kits can. Developed to be a heavily-armed ground-attack aircraft Hs 129 and its final evolution B-3’s standard armament consisted of two MG 17/7.92mm machine guns mounted in the wing roots and one BK 7,5/75mm anti-tank gun beneath the fuselage. Although the MG 17 on the wing is not mounted on the aircraft with the markings used in this kit, we replicated the BK 7.5 mounted on this aircraft employs a large drum magazine that holds 12 75mm shells and is automatically loaded by electromagnetic pneumatic control. The Hs 129 was designed to be a compactly-sized ground-attack aircraft. In particular, the B and later versions had a trapezoidal fuselage with straight wings, a textbook example of simplistic, sturdy design. With its closely-situated engine nacelles and cowlings, once can truly appreciate its functional beauty as a small twin-engine aircraft. This SWS kit pushes the limits to thoroughly replicate that functional beauty as a “miniature version of the real aircraft.” Cockpit Discover the rigid fortress-like cockpit that protected pilots from the intense ground-based anti-aircraft attacks. The Hs 129’s trapezoidal cockpit was extremely cramped due to its narrow frame. The instrument panel was reduced to only the most vital elements and the gun sight was mounted on the top of the nose outside of the cockpit. Some of the instruments were mounted to the inboard faces of the engine nacelles, like other German aircraft including the Bf 110 and Ju 88. The cockpit was encased in a sturdy fortress-like armored “bathtub” to protect the pilot from ground-based anti-aircraft gunning. The windscreen was made from multi-layer 72 mm-thick bullet-proof glass and the top 2/3 of the window was retractable to improve the ease of entering the cockpit. However, this essentially eliminated any rear visibility and greatly reduced the front visibility. The SWS kit replicates the subtle differences for the different armament versions, in additional to the shared instruments. Engine The Hs 129’s engines reveal the true value of SWS kits; learning about the development concept and historical background as you build. The Hs 129 was originally powered by the Argus As 410 engines, which had insufficient power. However, after Gnôme-Rhône 14M engine production in occupied France became a possibility, it was quickly decided that the Hs 129 was to be powered by those engines instead. The 14M engines still had insufficient power, but they were both more compact and performed better than the As 410 A engines. The variable-pitch Ratier 1527/1528 propellers were also produced in occupied France. Making use of the equipment that once belonged to an enemy country after occupation is a logical strategy that was made possible by the land connection of the European region. These propellers were also selected because while the German twin-engine aircraft engines rotated in the same direction together, French engines rotated in opposite directions for the left and right sides, so they were not interchangeable. Therefore, the aircraft used similarly French-made left-rotating and right-rotating propellers for each engine, respectively. This SWS kit brings you the full picture so that you can truly experience the development concept and historical background as you build. Weapons This is the ultimate "tank buster"! The heavy armament of the "B-3", its final evolutionary form, has been fully replicated. The fixed armament of the "Hs 129" usually consisted of two MG 17/7.92mm machine guns at the wing root and two MG 151/20mm machine guns on the sides of the fuselage, up to 300kg of explosives mounted on the wings and beneath the fuselage, and various other armament options were planned to mount beneath the fuselage. The "B-3," which evolved as the ultimate "tank buster" had one BK 7.5/75mm anti-tank gun for aircraft mounted as a fixed armament beneath the fuselage, and the MG 151 on the side of the fuselage was not mounted to accommodate the huge drum magazine of the BK 7.5 inside the fuselage. The BK 7.5 mounted on this aircraft employs a large drum magazine that holds 12 75mm shells and is automatically loaded by electromagnetic pneumatic control. Weighing 700 kg, this huge cannon made the aircraft slow and heavy, but its power was said to be tremendous. It is also interesting to imagine its heroic performance in defeating the IS-2 tanks with a single blow. Main wing SWS faithfully replicates the sturdy wings and landing gear that could withstand many low-altitude ground attacks with heavy weapons. The Hs 129 wings were designed to be thick and strong, with a straight leading edge and a tapered trailing edge on the wing planform. The wing’s construction was divided between the inner wing up to the outside edge of the engine nacelles and the outer wing extending beyond. The inner wings stored one 205-liter fuel tank on the inner side of each wing, and the wing’s inboard armament was mounted near to the fuselage. Bombs could also be mounted underneath the outer wings. The main struts were hydraulically pulled back into the nacelles behind the engines. The structure supporting the axis of the main wheels was designed to also support the engine rack in the front. The tail wheel was not retractable, and it was left exposed during flight. This SWS kit faithfully replicates the dimensionality and density of the simple area around the landing gear, not missing any details to fully recreate the rugged yet beautiful wings. The parts were also carefully designed for ease of assembly.

No way!! Really!!!? 1/32 Horten Ho 229 B (Two-Seater) With new research and redesigns added to the basic 1/32 Ho 229, the brave form of this rare flying wing has been recreated as an even more advanced two-seater model. Be sure to add this Ho 229 B to your collection, as it will surely stand out among the many other aircraft in your collection. It can be recreated as either a single-seater or a two-seater, and features a clear exterior that allows you to enjoy the internal structure. This new release was developed from the 1/32 Ho 229 single-seater through extensive studies and redesigns. Add this truly unique piece to your aircraft collection. This kit offers build options for either the single-seat or two-seat model and the clear exterior parts showcase the detailed internal structure. The Spirit of the Horten Brothers Revived Through SWS! From a young age, the Horten brothers were fascinated by gliders and flying wing aircraft. Under the guidance of Dr. Lippisch, designer of the Me 163, they pursued flying wing prototypes, culminating in the formal adoption of the Ho 229. Although several high-performance variants were planned, none saw combat before the war ended. Among these, the two-seat night fighter was considered the most practical. It featured a narrow tandem cockpit, with a radar operator seated in the rear, and a FuG 220 Lichtenstein radar antenna mounted on the nose, same as the He 219, for night interception. The SWS kit faithfully recreates this advanced concept as the Ho 229 B Nachtjäger, based on detailed research from actual He 219 and Luftwaffe night fighter documentation. Even under the pressures of late-war Germany, the Ho 229 B exemplified bold and forward-thinking design. Now, through SWS, this “Bird of prey of the Luftwaffe” can take flight once more in your aircraft collection. Jumo 004 engine The world's first practical axial-flow turbojet engine, used in combat. In SWS kit, its internal structure is reproduced in such detail that you can see clearly how the air flows from the intake port into the engine and is transformed into thrust.  Landing gear (nose gear, main gear) Since flying wing aircraft cannot be equipped with high-lift devices, they inevitably have a higher landing speed and have to rely to some extent on the nosewheel to maintain a level landing. As a result, like the Ho 229, the Ho 229 B is equipped with a huge nosewheel the same size as the Do 335's main wheels, and the landing struts are also thick and sturdy. Cockpit As a two-seater night fighter, the cockpit was narrow from side to side, with two tandem seats arranged side by side, and the radar operator sat in the rear seat. FuG 220 Liechtenstein radar antenna It is equipped with the same engine as the He 219. Mk 108 30mm cannon Two additional guns are mounted on each side at the base of the left and right wings, giving a total of six heavily armament guns, including two Mk 103 guns! Features Based on the extensively researched 1/32 single-seat kit, this model brings the previously paper-only two-seat model to life for the first time in three dimensions. Areas lacking real-world references have been faithfully interpreted through Zoukei-Mura’s original analysis and design. Bilingual instruction manual (Japanese and English) with detailed diagrams, allowing modelers to gain technical insight into the aircraft throughout the assembly process. Two sets of fictional decal markings, created under the premise: what if Ho229 B had entered operational service? Canopy can be built open or closed. Masking sticker for accurate paint separation is included. Options for single-seat or two-seat configurations. Clear exterior parts showcase internal structures. The Ho 229 B: Outstanding Features at a Glance! 1 Jumo 004 engine The Jumo 004 engine: the first axial-flow turbojet used in combat. Axial flow fans, also known as propeller fans, are characterized by their high airflow and low pressure, making them ideal for cooling and heat dissipation. The SWS kit meticulously reproduces the internal structure, demonstrating how air is drawn in through the intake port and transformed into propulsive force within the engine. 2 Wing Internal Fuel Tank Two tanks (four in total) are installed on each side, one in the front edge of the wing and one inside the wing. This configuration enables long-distance flight! 3 MK 103 30mm cannon Same as Ho 229, it is equipped with two cannons (one on each side) at the base of the main wings! 4 MK 108 30mm cannon Two additional guns (four total) have been added to the base of ③ and ④! If attacked by two types of cannons (six total), even a bomber would be no match. 5 Cockpit The two-seater night fighter features a narrow front-rear tandem cockpit. The rear cockpit has a radar scope. 6 Canopy The canopy has been changed to a long, two-seat type. 7 Windshield This SWS kit reproduced a windshield that is integrated with the nose section, just like the real aircraft! 8 FuG 220 Lichtenstein radar FuG202 was also used on the He 219. 9 Taxiing Light Since this is a night fighter, an additional light has been added for use when moving on the ground. 10 Air Intake and Nose Shape To accommodate a tandem cockpit, the forward fuselage and nose were extended. 11 Main Wing This flying wing design lacks vertical stabilizers, reducing radar reflection. Carbon-based paint enhances stealth. The wings were made of wood and incorporates a 1.05° washout to reduce drag and improve fuel efficiency. 12 13 Landing Gear (12. Nose landing gear. 13 Main landing gear) Flying wing aircraft, which cannot be equipped with high-lift devices to enhance lift, inherently require higher landing speeds. Due to the difficulty of landing at a high angle of attack (the angle between the line of sight and the horizontal plane), they must maintain a level attitude during touchdown. Consequently, landings rely more heavily on the nose landing gear. Like the Ho 229, the Ho 229 B has a large nose wheel—same size to the Do 335’s main gear—and reinforced struts to withstand the impact of takeoff and landing with high-thrust jet engines.Notably, while real aircraft tires typically bear the manufacturer's logo, this model features a deliberately altered design with the fictional “OONTINENTAL” branding by Zoukei-Mura. Control Surfaces and Deceleration Devices 14 Drag Rudder、15 Drag Chute、16 Air Brake In flying wing aircraft lacking conventional tail structures, control surfaces serve multiple roles, primarily for attitude control. The outer surfaces function as elevons—acting as elevators when moved symmetrically and as ailerons when moved asymmetrically. The center and inner surfaces, originally intended to operate similarly, appear to have been restricted to downward movement to facilitate nose-down control. Deceleration systems include air brakes and a drag chute mounted on the underside of the rear fuselage. Drag rudders, installed on both upper and lower wing surfaces, serve the yaw control function of traditional rudders. When deployed, they generate asymmetric drag, slowing the corresponding wing and enabling directional control. These features exemplify the ingenuity embedded in the aircraft’s boomerang-like design. Aircraft Comparison: Ho 229 vs. Ho 229 B Airframe The original SWS kit “Ho 229” is based on the unfinished prototype “Ho IX V3”, reconstructed as a hypothetical operational single-seat fighter-bomber, assuming it had entered combat. In contrast, the new “Ho 229 B” represents a two-seat night fighter model—one of the more practical designs among the proposed models. Engine Cowling Both models use the same Jumo 004 axial-flow turbojet engines, but their cowlings differ due to changes in nose design. The Ho 229 features a smoothly contoured cowling that blends into the upper fuselage and extends toward the front intake. In contrast, the Ho 229 B has a shorter, more sharply defined cowling, tapering forward and ending near the center of the upper fuselage. Cockpit The Ho 229 featured a prototype-style cockpit framed with pipes and metal panels, exposing the pilot to intense noise and vibration from the adjacent Jumo 004 engines. The nose gear was directly connected to the fuselage frame, leaving the pilot’s footwell open to the ground and subject to significant landing impact. In contrast, the Ho 229 B adopted a tandem-seat layout, similar to modern combat aircraft, to accommodate night-fighting equipment, radar systems, and improved crew protection. The cockpit evolved into a bathtub-style enclosure with internal walls, reportedly planned to include armor plating on the bottom and sides. The nose gear was mounted to the reinforced cockpit floor, enhancing both structural integrity and pilot safety. Airframe Shape Both aircraft share the distinctive boomerang-like silhouette characteristic of flying wings. However, when compared side by side, the Ho 229 appears more compact due to its shorter nose, closely resembling a true boomerang. In contrast, the Ho 229 B features an elongated, sharply contoured nose to accommodate the tandem cockpit, resulting in a more pointed profile. This modification also extends the engine intakes forward. Combined with the nose-mounted antenna, the Ho 229 B presents a more unconventional and striking appearance. Nose Antenna A defining feature of the two-seat Ho 229 B is the nose-mounted radar antenna, which is not on the single-seat Ho 229. The Ho 229 B is equipped with the FuG 220 Lichtenstein radar antenna, used on the He 219, for night-time target acquisition. The SWS kit faithfully reproduces this delicate and distinctive component with precise angles and durability. Armament The daytime fighter Ho 229 was equipped with two Rheinmetall 30mm MK 103 cannons. The night fighter Ho 229 B added four more Rheinmetall 30mm MK 108 cannons, totaling six. Capable of downing U.S. bombers like the B-17 or B-24 with just four hits, this configuration represented formidable firepower for its time. The SWS faithfully recreates this hypothetical, heavily armed night fighter. Markings The Ho 229 B features two camouflage schemes typical of night fighters with two distinctive tail markings. These designs are based on the premise that, if the aircraft had been deployed operationally. Please enjoy your preferred color schemed and marking combinations.

The Most Mass-Produced Variant Among the Numerous Bf 109 SubtypesPrecise Reproduction of G-Series Differences! The Bf 109 G-4 is one of the early models in the G-series (G-1 to G-4) and stands out for its distinctive operational use, including deployment as a photo reconnaissance aircraft in some cases. When not equipped with cameras, it could be fitted with various optional configurations such as R1–R3, as well as R4 (drop tank), R5 (MK 108 cannon gondola), and R6 (MG 151 cannon gondola), serving as a medium-altitude fighter. This kit faithfully reproduces the G-4 in its R6 configuration, featuring underwing MG 151 gondolas and a desert-use Trop filter, based on thorough research of the actual aircraft. Although produced in limited numbers over a short period, the G-4 played a transitional role leading to the G-6 variant. This kit accurately recreates even the subtle differences unique to the G-4. As you assemble it, enjoy discovering the differences between each variant of this legendary aircraft. Of the many Bf 109 subtypes, the G type boasts the highest production numbers, and its many differences are reproduced in detail! The Bf 109 G-4 is a unique subtype of the diverse G-type early series, from G-1 to G-4, some of which were used as photo reconnaissance aircraft. Without the camera, it could be equipped with R1-3, R4 (drop tanks), R5 (MK 108 integrated gondola), or R6 (MG 151 integrated gondola), and was also active as a medium-altitude fighter. Based on thorough research into the actual aircraft, this kit recreates the R6 version equipped with MG 151 integrated gondolas under both wings and the Trop version equipped with desert filters. While produced in limited quantities for a short period of time, the G-4 served as a transitional aircraft to the G-6, and even the subtle differences are beautifully recreated. As you assemble this kit, you'll be able to fully appreciate the differences between each version of this legendary aircraft. Features Thorough research and repeated design changes have resulted in a kit of the finest detail in 1/32 scale! A full-color instruction manual in both Japanese and English with detailed illustrations that allows you to learn about the actual aircraft while assembling. Two types of color and marking decals are included. The canopy can be selected to be opened or closed. Also includes a masking sheet for different painting. Two types of color and markings are used! One of the colors and markings is a Bf 109 G-4/R6 Trop "Black 1" in desert camouflage with sand filters, flown by Oberleutnant Franz Schiess, commander of 8./JG 53, at Tinja, Tunisia, in April 1943. The other is a Bf 109 G-4/R6 "Double Chevron", flown by Major Wilhelm Ewald, of Stab III./JG 3, at Kerch, Russia, in April 1943. Both aircraft are reproduced in the R6 specification, equipped with the distinctive gun pods on the underside of the wings. Other details, such as spoked wheels and bulges on the upper wing surfaces, that are characteristic of the G-4, the early model of the G-type, are also faithfully reproduced. The Bf 109’s smooth, streamlined aerodynamic design: the key to its speed and agility. Its inverted V-type liquid-cooled 12-cylinder DB 605 engine had a compact cross-section, allowing for a sleek fuselage shape. The inverted V-cylinder arrangement enabled weapons to be mounted close to the pilot’s line of sight, improving shooting accuracy. The nose armament consisted of two MG 17 7.92mm machine guns mounted on the upper fuselage. The motor cannon running through the engine was upgraded in later subtypes (from the G-5 onward) to the powerful MK 108 30mm cannon. This kit features the earlier MG 151/20mm cannon. With SWS kits, you can explore the evolution of the G-series—the most produced variant—while building. A cockpit designed with pure rationality and laid out with remarkable clarity The canopy of the Bf 109 retained a three-part structure up to the mid-production G variants: a flat-front windshield, a side-opening central canopy, and a fixed rear section. In early G-type models, the cockpit was upgraded to a pressurized configuration, with airtight seals applied to all movable sections. Standard equipment also included bulletproof glass, resulting in thicker and more robust framing for both the front and central canopy sections. Inside the cockpit, a fuel status inspection pipe extended from the L-shaped 400-liter fuel tank located behind and below the pilot’s seat. In the SWS kit, this feature is faithfully reproduced using clear parts just like real aircraft. The Bf 109’s cockpit, a masterpiece of rational engineering, reflects the genius of Messerschmitt’s design philosophy in its meticulously organized layout. The Bf 109’s wing and internal designs optimized for hit-and-run tactics. The Bf 109's wings featured a conventional cantilever design with a main spar fixed to the fuselage and automatic leading-edge slats. From the F model onward, the radiator flaps were enlarged and redesigned into clamshell-style outlets, serving both as flaps and as cooling vents for airflow through the radiators. The split-type flaps could function independently or together with the simple flaps between the ailerons. In the SWS kit, these distinctive radiator flaps are faithfully reproduced with open/closed positions. Experience the functional beauty of the Bf 109's wing structure, optimized for hit-and-run tactics, in stunning detail with SWS.

Laid the foundations for modern SEAD missions! Tasked with SEAD missions, the Wild Weasel was the first to enter airspace to destroy their radar and SAM. To cover all the SWS F-4 series, this latest addition is a detailed reproduction of the F-4C Wild Weasel; from its exterior shape, cockpit interior, antennae, to the onboard armament. To enhance the capability for SEAD, various modifications and additions were incorporated into the F-4C. The original F-4 was deployed all over the world and evolved uniquely in each country. As a specialized mission aircraft, the F-4C Wild Weasel performed many of the most dangerous missions during the Vietnam War. Adding this must-have model is to complete your SWS collection! What is the "Wild Weasel"? A special aircraft whose main mission is to suppress enemy air defense networks. The Wild Weasel IV is a successor to the F-105G, a modified F-4C designed specifically for SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defense) missions. Its main mission is to use various sensors such as the AN/APR-25, -26 and ER-142 to locate enemy SAM (surface-to-air missile) site tracking/guidance radars or radar waves emitted from radar sites and their location, and then attack them with anti-radar missiles such as the AGM-45.It is nicknamed "Wild Weasel" because it resembles a weasel crawling on the ground in search of prey. The F-4C Wild Weasel IV, which built the foundation for modern SEAD missions, has been thoroughly reproduced down to its exact exterior shape and even the fine details, such as the added special antenna. You can enjoy comparing each type as you assemble it. Zoukei Mura SWS4801 1/48 J7... $79.99
Developed by the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as a short-range, land-based interceptor, the J7W was a response to Boeing B-29 Superfortress raids on the Japanese home islands. For interception missions, the J7W was to be armed with four forward-firing 30 mm type 5 cannons in the nose. The Shinden was expected to be a highly maneuverable interceptor, but only two prototypes were finished before the end of war. A jet engine–powered version was considered, but never even reached the drawing board. A perfection equal to the 1/32 kit! Pay attention to Ha-43-42 fully reproduced in 1/48 scale! The airframe and internal structure of the 1/32 Shinden have now been scaled down to 1/48. This has resulted not simply in reducing the size of parts from the larger kit, but a certain amount of combining and condensing the structure to cater for the smaller size. The engine is a particularly nice piece of tooling – you can see by the accompanying pictures that it is indistinguishable from the real thing without a very close inspection. SWS starts this new 1/48 series by offering the mystery, charm and power of the Shinden. But don't miss out – this kit is expected to sell out as quickly as the 1/32 version!

F-4Ds initially arrived in June 1967 equipped with AIM-4 Falcons. However, the Falcon, like its predecessors, was designed to shoot down heavy bombers flying straight and level. Its reliability proved no better than others and its complex firing sequence and limited seeker-head cooling time made it virtually useless in combat against agile fighters. The F-4Ds reverted to using Sidewinders under the "Rivet Haste" program in early 1968, and by 1972 the AIM-7E-2 "Dogfight Sparrow" had become the preferred missile for USAF pilots. Like other Vietnam War Phantoms, the F-4Ds were urgently fitted with radar warning receivers to detect the Soviet-built S-75 Dvina SAMs Specification Scale: 1/48 Plastic Model Kits, Including 2-color molded parts (clear and grey) Total Parts: 385

THE 3 MAIN POINTS OF 1/48 F-4J NAVY VF-142 “GHOSTRIDERS”!! The biggest hurdle in the development of this kit was fully expressing the characteristic external shape of the F-4, including the wide nose with its sharply-pointed tip and the large intakes protruding from either side. The SWS kit is based on our examination of the actual aircraft to faithfully reproduce the challenging shape with unparalleled accuracy. Since its first flight in 1958, the F-4 has achieved significant military results in numerous combat areas, including the Vietnam War and the Gulf War, and has long been used all over the world for a variety of different purposes. SWS kits bring you the fascinating and diverse variety of F-4s altered to fit various locations, military units, duties, and more. This kit features the VF-142 “Ghostriders” marking from the last period of F-4J use by the squadron. The vertical stabilizer is boldly painted in orange-yellow to signify the second squadron. The rudder is decorated with the multicolored stars that designate a CAG aircraft. This version was used in the Vietnam War starting from the Tonkin Incident in 1964.
