Classic Touring Car Champion
This is a 1/10 scale R/C assembly kit model of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA, which in its day achieved numerous racing successes, including taking the European touring car championship from 1966 to 1969. The car's beautiful body, which featured a unique "stepped" front styling, has been accurately reproduced with polycarbonate. The shield-shaped front grille and side mirrors are depicted with metal-plated parts for great scale realism.
Improved RR Performance
The M-06 chassis features a Rear-Mounted Motor, Rear-Drive setup and features a longitudinally-mounted battery pack, with R/C units positioned on either side for optimum balance and low center of gravity. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension is equipped with 60D radial tires at the front and 60D super grip tires at the rear. In addition, a 3-piece steering linkage offers nimble handling response.

Compact gearboxes are equipped with ball differentials, and the propeller shaft directly links to the front bevel gear to decrease power loss during transmission. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension with long suspension arms provides excellent shock absorption, and a variety of attachment positions gives the driver many options when tuning.

DMD Control Unit T-03
DMD stands for "DIGITAL TWIN MOTOR DIFFERENTIAL" and this T-03 unit features a digital receiver and enables 4-channel control of R/C tank operations such as speed-proportional forward/reverse/turning movement, turret rotation, and gun elevation.

4-channel operation enables realistic tank driving action with turret rotation and gun elevation.
The DMD Control Unit T-03 included with Tamiya's 1/16 R/C Tiger I Early Production (Item 56009) takes signals from the transmitter to control four different motors. In particular, the drive motors can be controlled independently to enable the left and right tracks to reproduce realistic tank movement. Digital proporsional system means the speed of the tank's movement can be precisely controlled. The elevation of the main gun as well as the rotation of the turret can also be operated freely.
If the current for the turret rotation/gun elevation output exceeds 4.0A, the overload protection will activate and stop the control unit. Switch off, then switch on again to return to normal operation.

Based around a tough monocoque frame with integrated gearboxes, this compact 4WD chassis gives a thrilling drive whether you take it on road or flat dirt surfaces. It features a rear-mounted motor, with gear-driven rear wheels and a propeller shaft taking power to the front. Both front and rear gearboxes have differential gears. The battery pack location in the chassis center secures excellent balance, while 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension employs friction dampers. Rally Block tires with width/diameter of 27/69mm are also included.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA was developed as the lightweight, tuned race version of the 2-door coupe Giulia Sprint GT and released in 1965. 500 units were produced and in the late 1960s the works car became class champion several times in the European Touring Car Championship; also run by other racing teams, it caught many an eye at the racetrack. This assembly kit recreates that classic car as a radio control model, with a polycarbonate body plus stickers to create a design inspired by the numerous club racers driven run by amateur drivers.
The MB-01 Chassis
The compact, 2WD MB-01 chassis gives a choice of three types of wheelbases, and front- or rear- wheel drive system. This model employs a midship motor, rear-wheel drive setup. Without removing battery pack, motor, and R/C equipment setups from the center frame, simply change attachment directions of final gears and steering linkage to switch between front- and rear-wheel drive; low or high motor position can be chosen for rear-wheel drive cars. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features symmetrical structure and friction dampers. Unitized sections such as motor mount, final gears and suspension facilitate ease of assembly and effective maintenance.

An R/C Legend Returns
With its aggressive-looking body design and low center of gravity, the Hotshot, Tamiya's first shaft-driven 4WD R/C buggy, made waves when it was introduced in 1985. The unique 3-piece chassis included such innovative features as front/rear mono-shock oil dampers, 4-wheel double wishbone suspension equipped with stabilizers, and front/rear fully-enclosed gearboxes equipped with thrust ball bearings and differential gears. A wide array of Option Parts were produced especially for modifying the Hotshot, and the machine became something that every youth at that time dreamed of. Fans have clamored for a re-release of the epoch-making R/C car, and Tamiya now brings back this legend to let fans relive their childhood memories.
An Old Dog with New Tricks
Tamiya designers have given the Hotshot a makeover, replacing older, harder to assemble parts with modern equivalents but still keeping true to the spirit of the original Hotshot. While the front/rear double wishbone suspensions and adjustable mono-shock oil dampers remain the same, the drivetrain features modern dog bone type propeller shafts for enhanced reliability. The oil dampers have also been changed to the more modern diaphragm type. Also, with the use of a modern ESC, the original Hotshot's rear aluminum heat sink was no longer necessary. However, the Hotshot would not look the same without it, so our solution was to install a dummy part to remain faithful to the original look. Take this updated Hotshot out for a spin and compare it to today's R/C buggies to experience how far this hobby has developed!

This R/C model assembly kit recreates the Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR car which took six wins in dominating the 1997 FIA GT Championship. Although inheriting the 2-door coupe form and front section of its base road car, the racecar looked rather different and that aerodynamically honed form is recreated by a polycarbonate body, while separately molded components are used for the nose emblem, A pillar-mounted side mirrors, rear spoiler and rear wing. A full sticker sheet recreates this successful car's livery to round off the model.
