The 6,500-ton Type 092 Daqingyu (US Department of Defense designation Xia-class, Chinese designation 09-II) submarine was the first ballistic missile-carrying, nuclear-powered submarine class (SSBN) deployed by the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy and the first SSBN designed and built in Asia. She was designed by Huang Xuhua, and derived from the Han-Class SSNs, with an extended hull to accommodate four missile tubes. The first Changzheng 6 of its class was laid down in 1978 at Huludao 120 miles North-East of Beijing; she was completed in 1981. She then spent 6 years being fitted out and conducting tests with its 12 JL-1 (CSS-N-3) missiles, becoming active in 1987. Later, the submarine went through numerous upgrades in incremental step, including using Type H/SQ2-262B sonar manufactured by No. 613 Factory replacing the original Type 604 sonar on board. SORYU Class of twelve non-nuclear submarines (SS) of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) built in Kobe shipyards of Mitsubishi and Kawasaki. The first two boats commissioned in 2009 and 2010, Soryu (SS-501) and Unryu (SS-502), inherited the names of Japanese aircraft carriers from WWII, and the class has the largest tonnage displacement of any JMSDF vessel since the Second World War. Updated from the Oyashio class, diesel-electric SORYU uses four Stirling Air-Independent Propulsion (AIP) engines, two Kawasaki dies.

The Grumman F4F Wildcat is an American carrier-based fighter aircraft that began service in 1940 with the United States Navy, and the British Royal Navy where it was initially known as the Martlet. First used by the British in the North Atlantic, the Wildcat was the only effective fighter available to the United States Navy and Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater during the early part of the Second World War. The disappointing Brewster Buffalo was withdrawn in favor of the Wildcat and replaced as aircraft became available.

HMS Kent is a Royal Navy County-class heavy cruiser built in 1928. She is the lead ship of the county-class sub-type Kent-class cruiser. After completion, the ship was sent to China. Kent took part in the hunt for the German pocket battleship Graf Spee in the eastern Indian Ocean in late 1939, and was then reassigned to escort duties with Indian Ocean forces in early 1940, she was transferred to the Mediterranean in mid-1940, but It was hit by a torpedo shortly after arrival and was subsequently repaired for a year. After the repair, it has been in service with the local fleet to escort convoys and intercept enemy ships. The Stryker is a modern American wheeled armored car. The first prototypes of the vehicle were built around 2000, and serial production started in 2002 continues to this day. It is estimated that around 4,900 vehicles of this type had been built by the beginning of 2018. The Stryker is powered by an engine Caterpillar C7 o power of 350 hp. The armament depends on the vehicle version, but the basic version (M1126) includes two 7.62 mm machine guns or one Mk.19 grenade launcher and one 7.62 mm machine gun. Vehicle concept - or actually a series of vehicles - Stryker was born at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, when the US Army command came to the conclusion that in the coming armed conflicts the key element would be speed of action, mobility and the ability to rapidly shift forces on a strategic scale. It was assumed that the US Army would have the ability to deploy a Light Infantry Brigade (later known as the Stryker Brigade Combat Team) in 96 hours anywhere on the planet. Following these requirements, a completely new armored vehicle called the Stryker was developed, which is characterized by very high mobility, high maximum speed, is susceptible to modernization, but has relatively thin armor not exceeding 15 mm.
