Laid the foundations for modern SEAD missions!
Tasked with SEAD missions, the Wild Weasel was the first to enter airspace to destroy their radar and SAM. To cover all the SWS F-4 series, this latest addition is a detailed reproduction of the F-4C Wild Weasel; from its exterior shape, cockpit interior, antennae, to the onboard armament. To enhance the capability for SEAD, various modifications and additions were incorporated into the F-4C.
The original F-4 was deployed all over the world and evolved uniquely in each country. As a specialized mission aircraft, the F-4C Wild Weasel performed many of the most dangerous missions during the Vietnam War. Adding this must-have model is to complete your SWS collection!
What is the "Wild Weasel"? A special aircraft whose main mission is to suppress enemy air defense networks.
The Wild Weasel IV is a successor to the F-105G, a modified F-4C designed specifically for SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defense) missions. Its main mission is to use various sensors such as the AN/APR-25, -26 and ER-142 to locate enemy SAM (surface-to-air missile) site tracking/guidance radars or radar waves emitted from radar sites and their location, and then attack them with anti-radar missiles such as the AGM-45.It is nicknamed "Wild Weasel" because it resembles a weasel crawling on the ground in search of prey.
The F-4C Wild Weasel IV, which built the foundation for modern SEAD missions, has been thoroughly reproduced down to its exact exterior shape and even the fine details, such as the added special antenna. You can enjoy comparing each type as you assemble it.
Enjoy the early days of the F-4 Wild Weasel by taking on the ultimate mission!

Zoukei Mura SWS4801 1/48 J7...
$79.99
Developed by the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as a short-range, land-based interceptor, the J7W was a response to Boeing B-29 Superfortress raids on the Japanese home islands. For interception missions, the J7W was to be armed with four forward-firing 30 mm type 5 cannons in the nose.
The Shinden was expected to be a highly maneuverable interceptor, but only two prototypes were finished before the end of war. A jet engine–powered version was considered, but never even reached the drawing board.
A perfection equal to the 1/32 kit!
Pay attention to Ha-43-42 fully reproduced in 1/48 scale!
The airframe and internal structure of the 1/32 Shinden have now been scaled down to 1/48. This has resulted not simply in reducing the size of parts from the larger kit, but a certain amount of combining and condensing the structure to cater for the smaller size. The engine is a particularly nice piece of tooling – you can see by the accompanying pictures that it is indistinguishable from the real thing without a very close inspection. SWS starts this new 1/48 series by offering the mystery, charm and power of the Shinden. But don't miss out – this kit is expected to sell out as quickly as the 1/32 version!

F-4Ds initially arrived in June 1967 equipped with AIM-4 Falcons. However, the Falcon, like its predecessors, was designed to shoot down heavy bombers flying straight and level. Its reliability proved no better than others and its complex firing sequence and limited seeker-head cooling time made it virtually useless in combat against agile fighters. The F-4Ds reverted to using Sidewinders under the "Rivet Haste" program in early 1968, and by 1972 the AIM-7E-2 "Dogfight Sparrow" had become the preferred missile for USAF pilots. Like other Vietnam War Phantoms, the F-4Ds were urgently fitted with radar warning receivers to detect the Soviet-built S-75 Dvina SAMs

THE 3 MAIN POINTS OF 1/48 F-4J NAVY VF-142 “GHOSTRIDERS”!!
The biggest hurdle in the development of this kit was fully expressing the characteristic external shape of the F-4, including the wide nose with its sharply-pointed tip and the large intakes protruding from either side. The SWS kit is based on our examination of the actual aircraft to faithfully reproduce the challenging shape with unparalleled accuracy.
Since its first flight in 1958, the F-4 has achieved significant military results in numerous combat areas, including the Vietnam War and the Gulf War, and has long been used all over the world for a variety of different purposes. SWS kits bring you the fascinating and diverse variety of F-4s altered to fit various locations, military units, duties, and more.
This kit features the VF-142 “Ghostriders” marking from the last period of F-4J use by the squadron. The vertical stabilizer is boldly painted in orange-yellow to signify the second squadron. The rudder is decorated with the multicolored stars that designate a CAG aircraft. This version was used in the Vietnam War starting from the Tonkin Incident in 1964.

SETTING A NEW STANDARD FOR 1/72 SCALE! SWS QUALITY IN A PALM-SIZED MODEL! SMALL YET REALISTIC!
Pushing the limits of 1/72 scale!
Recreate the "Mysterious Bird" Horten with dense mechanical detail exceeding expectations of small-scale models!
THE 4 MAIN POINTS OF 1/72&1/144 Ho 229
This SWS kit builds two models in 1/72 and 1/144 scales based on the unfinished “Ho IX V3” prototype, recreating what a finished Ho 229 might have been like if used in actual combat. Don’t miss this brand-new type of SWS kit, bringing you the next level of entertainment from learning through building, the true goal of scale models.
Utilizing our experience and knowledge from developing the 1/32 and 1/48 kits, we successfully created a 1/72 scale model comparable to the larger sizes. The genius Horten brothers’ design philosophy is replicated in a level of detail that defies all expectations of small-scale models. Go ahead and start with 1/72 scale to experience the fascination of SWS kits.
The 1/144 scale model’s assembly was made to be simple and quick, so that anyone can enjoy building it and learning from the accurate form based on thorough investigation of the actual aircraft and deep archival research. From 1/32 scale to 1/144 scale, experience the joy of collecting “the Luftwaffe’s mysterious wing” as SWS kits.
The Ho 229 was developed in the final stages of the war in hopes that it would be the key to revival from the brink of defeat. The abundance of prototypes is part of what makes the Ho 229 a fascinating subject. RLM76 Light Blue was chosen to color the 1/72 scale version as a night fighter. For the 1/144 version, the standard camouflage was chosen for a fighter-bomber. With this kit you can enjoy both at once.
