Discover the new Pen Duick, the updated wooden model of  this French racing cutter  owned by Éric Tabarly, whose motto was: "Man needs passion to exist." Saved from poverty by Éric and his father when he was just seven years old, the Pen Duick was the first in a series of boats with which Tabarly achieved numerous victories in various competitions. He was, without a doubt, one of the greatest sailors in history. Born in Nantes in 1931,  Tabarly developed a great passion for the sea and sailing  from childhood  . He achieved  great victories and shattered records  in an era when Anglo-Saxons dominated ocean racing. Far from resting on his laurels, he continued  building increasingly efficient boats and winning regattas . He met his end when he disappeared in the waters of the English Channel while sailing his old Pen Duick to participate in a classic Scottish sailing regatta. Build your own  1:56 scale model of the Pen Duick , the classic French racing sailboat.  An exclusive Artesanía Latina product, officially licensed  .  It is one of the most elegant sailboats in the world. Artesania Titanic Easy Wood... $ PRICE IN PROGRESS!
Wooden model of the Titanic ship: the most famous ship in the world, now in your hands There are ships, and then there's the Titanic. More than a century after its sinking, its name still evokes something difficult to explain: a mixture of fascination, melancholy, and respect. It's not just a ship lost at the bottom of the North Atlantic—it's the most powerful symbol of the 20th century, and also one of the most beautiful silhouettes ever to sail the seas. Reproducing it in wood , with your own hands, is an experience that goes far beyond model making. The Titanic: a story that never gets old Built at the Harland & Wolff shipyards in Belfast for the White Star Line, the RMS Titanic was launched on May 31, 1911. Measuring 269 meters in length and with a gross tonnage of over 46,000, it was the largest and most luxurious ship in the world. Its four iconic funnels, its first-class lounges comparable to the finest European hotels, its opulent interiors—everything conveyed a sense of invincibility that the era did not question. On April 10, 1912, it sailed from Southampton on its maiden voyage to New York with 2,224 people on board. Four days later, in the early morning of April 15, it grazed an iceberg about 600 kilometers south of Newfoundland. The impact compromised five hull compartments—one more than the design could withstand. In less than three hours, the ship broke in two and sank to a depth of 3,800 meters. 1,517 people died . The tragedy forever changed international maritime safety legislation. And the Titanic, far from fading into oblivion, became a myth that remains alive more than a century later. With just 70 pieces and a difficulty level designed for beginners in ship modeling , this Easy Kit allows you to build a faithful replica of the Titanic without prior experience or specialized tools. The precisely cut wooden pieces fit together naturally, and the illustrated step-by-step manual guides the modeler through each stage of assembly. Features At a scale of 1:1000 The finished model measures 274 mm long x 30 mm wide x 77 mm high — perfect dimensions for displaying in a showcase and appreciating every detail of this unmistakable silhouette up close. Artesania Tweezers for Water Decals Artesania Tweezers for Water Decals
ARTESANIA
Artesania Tweezers for Wate... $7.95
A flat tip that protects your decals Most modeling tweezers end in a fine point. Perfect for grabbing a tiny part, that point becomes a trap the moment you handle a wet decal: the film is fragile and slippery, and it punctures, folds or tears at the slightest slip. The 27030N takes the opposite approach. Its slim arms meet in a flat tip 2.5 mm wide, giving you a real contact surface: it holds and retains the decal gently, with no pressure point sharp enough to damage it. You slide the decal off its backing paper, bring it into place and adjust it on the model — with grip, never with force. A tip fine enough for precision, flat enough for delicacy. Not just for decals That flat tip also makes these tweezers an ally for every flat, delicate part a pointed tip would dent or bend: small photo-etched parts, flags, fine elements to be laid flat. Tweezers designed for finishing, where precision must stay gentle. How to apply a water-slide decal properly A well-applied decal looks painted on; a badly applied one can ruin an otherwise flawless model. Here is the method we follow in our workshop, where these tweezers come into their own: Trim the decal as close to the design as possible. Dip it in water for a few seconds, then set it aside until the film releases from its backing. Using the 27030N, slide the decal into its exact position on the model — the flat tip lets you adjust it without tearing. Blot off the excess water and work out any air bubbles. On a curved or textured surface, a setting solution (softener/fixer) helps the decal conform to the relief. Let it dry undisturbed. Tweezers built for the finish Around every model, Artesanía Latina designs tools and accessories that help you achieve at home the very finishes we achieve in our workshop. These decal tweezers are part of that world: a small piece of tooling that changes everything when the markings go on. Features Stainless steel: durable and corrosion-resistant 2.5 mm flat tip: gentle grip, no punctures or tears in your decals 121 mm long: easy to handle and well balanced Designed for applying water-slide decals Versatile: ideal for flat, delicate parts too (photo-etched parts, flags) An Artesanía Latina finishing tool, in the spirit of "the same finishes as our modelers"

Artesania Two Sides Hand Dr... $23.95
Introducing one of the essential crafts and modeling tools at your workshop: the Mechanized Hand Drill, which supports bits from 0.049’’ (1.25 mm) to 0.078’’ (2 mm). Its mechanized spiral system in its body makes the drill rotate automatically when the knob is pressed. With a length of 7’’ (178 mm), different materials such as wood, metal and plastic can be drilled in detail. The mechanized hand drill should be in your tool bag and at your own modeling workshop. It has grooved metal areas to facilitate holding with the gripper: much more firm when drilling with your hands and with the support of another tool. Drilling holes in wood, metal and plastic with this small hand drill is now easier. The drill rotates directly when exerting pressure on the handle. The hand drill from Artesanía Latina measures 7’’ (17 cm) length. Includes a drill bit. The mechanized hand drill has two chucks for bits with diameters from 0.049’’ (1.25 mm) to 0.078’’ (2 mm) at its ends. All this makes it an indispensable tool for drilling holes with different dimensions according to the needs of the model that the modeler is building or the creation of the crafts lover. This small hand drill is widely used, for example, in naval modeling for the construction of the lining of wooden ships. Artesanía Latina's mechanized manual drill for modeling and crafts is made with high quality materials for the most demanding modelers due to its durability and resistance. It is a mechanized drill that greatly facilitates the drilling of all types of surfaces such as wood, metal and plastic thanks to its system, since the drill rotates directly when exerting pressure on the handle. This hand drill is essential in your tool bag!
