The Panzer Empire’s Moving Fortress
After British tanks appeared in battles during the WWI, Germany developed its own tank—A7V. This tank weighed 30t. Normally it had a crew of 16 to 18, and sometimes up to 26 were carried. Thus, it’s the tank that had the largest number of crew in the world. It adopted an improved Holt tractor chassis, and two Daimler engines generating 200hp output. Its armament was a 57mm Maxim-Nordenfelt QF gun and six 7.92mm Maxim MG-08 heavy machine guns. As resources were in short supply during the wartime, the A7V side armor plates made by Krupp Corp were assembled from several parts. The A7V tank was put into service in January of 1918.
As the first German tank, A7V settled a solid foundation for the development of German tanks.
This 1/35 scale German A7V tank (Krupp) plastic model kit is a precise replica of the first German tank. Its exteriors are accurately represented; the interiors of the fighting compartment and the driver’s compartment are realistically reproduced; workable track links are provided; all hatches and viewing ports can be built open or closed; precision PE parts are included.

As the most outstanding self-propelled howitzer in the world, German Panzerhaubitze 2000 (PzH2000) has absolutely superior firepower. Its Rheinmetall 155mm L52 gun has amazing firing range and accuracy. Its automatic ammunition management and shell-loading system has realized a high rate of fire. When it’s firing, smoke will be discharged from both sides of the muzzle brake, looking like a hammer of Thor. However, because its gun is outstanding, other advantages of the PzH2000 are often neglected, especially its excellent protection.
The main body of the PzH2000 is made from homogeneous armored steel plates. Average thickness of those plates is 20mm. Spall liners are installed on the interior surfaces. The armor could withstand attacks from a 14.5mm machine gun or shrapnel from a 152mm round. Comparing to other self-propelled howitzers, the PzH2000’s turret owns a remarkable bulletproof shape. Additionally, the PzH2000 is also the world’s first self-propelled howitzer that introduced the concept of module armor protection at the stage of design. Hundreds of hexagon bolts on the hull and turret roof are for the installation of add-on armor. Ten thousands of 60mm high “long needles” are on the surface of the add-on armor, which gives this weird armor a nickname, Igelpanzerung (Hedgehog Armor). A total of 75 add-on armor plates can be packed into 5 boxes and transported together with the vehicle to battlefields. The crew can install the armor according to situations. Of course, the improvement of protective ability results in heavier weight. The weight of a PzH2000 with add-on armor is increased from 49t to 57t.
PzH2000 made its combat debut in 2006 when three Dutch PzH2000s with add-on armor went out to Afghanistan on the foot of Hindu Kush Mountains and participated in Operation Medusa against the Taliban. In 2010, three PzH2000s of German Army also appeared on the battlefield of Afghanistan. In combat missions, the PzH2000 showed its good protection, excellent mobility and wide coverage. It proves that it’s the most outstanding self-propelled howitzer in the world.
In June 2014, MENG released the TS-012 1/35 scale German Panzerhaubitze 2000 Self-Propelled Howitzer plastic model kit which became quite popular among modellers. However, add-on armor was not included in that kit. It’s a pity for modellers who like the powerful PzH2000 with add-on armor on the battlefield of Afghanistan. This new TS-019 1/35 scale German Panzerhaubitze 2000 Self-Propelled Howitzer with Add-on Armor plastic model kit perfectly represents the real vehicle and modular needle-shaped add-on armor. Four painting schemes of German and Netherland armies are provided.

In 1916, British and French troops launched the Somme Offensive against German army astride the River Somme in northern France. This battle, one of the bloodiest in human history, has also been remembered because of a new weapon that shocked the German army, the British Mk.I heavy tank. Tank, one of the greatest inventions in the war history of the twentieth century, marked the beginning of a new era of army mechanization.
Mark series heavy tanks went through several improvements. The only thing unchanged was their unique rhomboid shape which remained in many people’s memory as the main feature of WWI tanks. In 1917, the British found a new transmission and engine, and then they started to improve Mk.IV tanks. Thanks to the epicyclic gearbox, only one driver was needed to drive the new tank. The tank was powered by a 150hp Ricardo 6 cylinder in-line petrol engine and could drive for 10 hours on a rugged terrain. This new tank was finally designated Mk.V. Mk.V tanks were first used in the Battle of Hamel in 1918, when they contributed to a successful assault by Australian units on the German lines.
During the development of Mk.V heavy tank model kit, MENG received great supports from The Tank Museum in Bovington, UK. As one of the most famous tank museums in the world, it keeps more than 300 vehicles, including the Mk.V heavy tank (male). MENG’s designers measured the real vehicle and studied a lot of reference materials in order to accurately represent this classic tank.
This kit includes precisely reproduced driver’s cabin, engine and other interiors. Traditional cement-free workable tracks are easy to assemble. “Crib” trench crossing device is provided to show its unique history. We believe that this Mk.V will bring a brand new building experience for rhomboid tank fans.

The T-72 main battle tank, the most representative Soviet tank during the Cold War, was once the symbol of the Soviet Army’s strength. About 40 years later, a new T-72B3 MBT entered service with the Russian Army.
The Russian T-72B3 MBT, as an important complement of the T-90 MBT, has received a series of modern improvements on the basis of the T-72B tank. It’s installed with the new Sosna-U multi-channel sight, a modern 125mm 2A46M-5 smoothbore gun, a 7.62mm PKT coaxial machine gun and a 12.7mm Utjos NSVT anti-aircraft machine gun. It’s fitted with the Kontakt-5 explosive reactive armor for better protection. It also receives new double-pin tracks. The T-72B3 tanks started service in 2012 and appeared in the Tank Biathlon and the Ukraine conflict.
We want to express our gratitude to the Gur Khan Books Publishing House and Mr. Alexey Khlopotov for their authoritative reference materials. With such materials, we had the chance to present the accurate and precise MENG TS-028 1/35 scale Russian Main Battle Tank T-72B3 plastic model kit.

The T-72 is a Soviet and Russian Main Battle Tank from the Cold War and modern times. The first prototypes of this vehicle were built in 1967-1972, and the car entered service in 1973. It is estimated that at least 20,000 copies of this car were manufactured, although it is worth adding that these are minimal estimates. The combat weight of the T-72B version reached 44.5 tons. The drive was provided by a single 780 hp W-46 engine. The primary armament was the 125mm 2A46M smoothbore gun, and the secondary armament consisted of a 7.62mm PKT machine gun and a 12.7mm NSW machine gun.
The T-72 tank was created as a specific supplement to the T-64 and was to be a less technologically advanced vehicle, although meeting the requirements of the battlefield, and at the same time cheaper in mass production. For this reason, it uses, for example, an engine with a much less avant-garde design or more classic armor (especially in the first production series). The main producer of this tank for the Soviet Army was the Uralwagon Zawod plant in Nizhny Tagil. Unlike the T-64, the T-72 was widely exported and licensed in many countries around the world. It also quickly became the main tank of the armed forces of the Warsaw Pact countries. It is worth mentioning here that it entered the equipment of the Polish People's Army in 1978 and remains there to this day.
Features
Scale model kit is 28.9cm long and 10.9cm wide when completed; clear parts are included for the periscope, and decals and photo-etched parts are included as well. Main tank parts come molded in tan.

The Panzer Kampfwagen V Panther was a revolutionary German medium tank that saw service during the Second World War. First seeing combat during the epic Battle of Kursk in Russia in 1943, it became the backbone of the German Panzerwaffe until the end of the war. Its 7.5 cm KwK 42 L/70 long tank gun could penetrate almost all the armor of its rivals. Sloped armor provided strong protection, touted to be better than the Tiger I. The Panther's Maybach HL230 engine could drive the vehicle to run at the high speeds up to 50km/h. Its wide tracks and interleaved road wheels distributed the weight evenly even on soft ground. The Panther was a perfect response to the desperate needs of German Panzer units in the latter stages of the war.
More than ten years after Dragon models groundbreaking Panther releases in the 1990s, Meng has entered the fray with a revolutionary new kit. The TS-035 German Medium Tank Sd.Kfz. 171 Panther Ausf. A Late is a kit of this famous WWII Panzer, designed with the help of The Tank Museum in Bovington, UK, and the editor Mr. David Parker of the Meng AFV Modeller magazine. The assembled model will measure 251.8mm long, 98.6mm wide and 85.27mm high. A total of 1,118 parts are included in the kit.
High quality, precision plastic model kit. Paint and glue not included. Requires assembly and painting. For intermediate to advanced skill modellers.
