Tamiya 20043 1/20 Honda RA272
$45.95
The 1965 Mexican Grand Prix was not just the last race of the season, but also the last Formula-One race using normally aspirated 1.5liter, displacement engines. The car that won this memorable event was Honda's highly competitive RA272 racing machine, driven by the skilled driver Richie Ginther.
Honda was the first Japanese car manufacturer to participate in F-1 Grand Prix racing, and this was their first F-1 victory since entering the 1964 German Grand Prix. Honda competed in the 1964 season using their RA271 machine, piloted by the young American driver Ronnie Bucknum. Although the RA271 occasionally showed a glimpse of its hidden potential, it failed to record any remarkable results. A discouraging season lead Honda to develop a much more integrated F-1 racing machine. Following the 1964 season, Honda thoroughly improved the machine and re-designated it the RA272. Its high tech and powerful, transversely mounted V-12-cylinder engine was said to yield an amazing 220 plus horsepower.
Richie Ginther joined the team beginning the season, and his racing experience helped the team in further refining the RA272. He gained 6th place in the Belgian and Dutch GP's, and finally won the Mexican victory on October 24th 1965. Taking the lead just after the start, Ginther's RA272 recorded a perfect win, without yielding the top position throughout the race. Partner Bucknum also earned 5th place, adding to Honda's racing laurels.
Features
This is a plastic model assembly kit depicting the RA272 which was victorious in the 1965 Mexico Grand Prix.
From the distinctive body lines to mechanical details, the form of the car is captured in style.
Features a detailed depiction of the V12 engine.
Engine cowl is split into three parts as on the actual car.
Two marking options are included.

Tamiya 20053 1/20 Tyrrell P...
$34.95
About the Tyrrell P34
In the 1976 F1 World Championships, Tyrrell P34 six-wheeler made its debut and demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the season. In the following season, P34 obtained First National City Bank as its main sponsor and changed its cowl painting to blue and white two-tone. The P34 in this season featured full engine cowling to improve aero-dynamics and was driven by P. Depailler and R. Peterson. Tyrrell encountered trouble when the development of P34's unique front tires stagnated as a result of the tire war between Michelin and Goodyear, but they continued their efforts to win by making minor-alterations to their P34 machines throughout the season.
About the model
1/20 scale assembly model kit depicts Tyrrell P34 as it appeared in the Monaco GP, 1977 with the same half engine cowling of the previous season. Overall length: 201mm, overall width: 101mm. Tamiya 20060 1/20 Lotus Typ...
$71.95
In 1977, Lotus introduced a ground effect car, the Type 78 which had a slim monocoque chassis and wide side pontoons with undersurfaces like inverted aircraft wings. Round 6 Belgium GP in the 1978 season saw the introduction of the further evolved Type 79. The fuel tanks were placed behind the cockpit and the rear suspension featured effective inboard dampers. Mario Andretti was paired with Ronnie Peterson that year, and the former drove the car to an impressive pole-to-finish debut win. More success followed, with Andretti taking 5 wins to claim the drivers' championship and Peterson adding another win to help the team claim the constructors' title. The Type 79 greatly influenced later F1 machines and its overwhelming speed as well as graceful design and livery earned it the nickname “Black Beauty.”Features

A Legend with a Twist
The Porsche 935: a true legend whose story goes back to its development for the Group 5 racing category that began in 1976. It quickly became champion that first year, and in 1977 too, it was the class of the field, with the works team joined by numerous privately-run 935s. One of those private teams was Kremer Racing, which made some of its own modifications to the body, and ran the 670hp 6-cylinder turbo engine car in a striking livery that borrowed its colors and the mascot from the title sponsor Vaillant. Results were impressive, as the Vaillant car held off the competition in the 6 Hours of Hockenheim that July for a hard-earned victory; it would also record four wins in the German domestic series the Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft that year.

Tamiya 24031 1/24 Audi Quattro
$44.99
The Audi quattro played a major role in moving four-wheel drive vehicles away from being the strongly exclusive domain of heavy off-road cars. It was one of the stars of the Geneva International Motor Show in 1980; while the body was similar to the Audi Coupé, its flared fenders and spoilers front and rear hinted at its high performance, but its full-time four-wheel drive was naturally the main talking point. Differentials at the front and rear were joined by a center differential in a setup that checked numerous boxes: smooth road driving; superior speed and cornering; and exceptional stability. Power was provided by a 2,144cc inline-five engine with a turbocharger and intercooler that output an impressive 200hp, while the front and rear had MacPherson strut suspension and disc brakes, which were a ventilated design at the front. In 1981 a rally version of the car debuted and took the global circuit by storm, winning multiple races and opening the door for other 4WD rally cars. Its influence was also felt in the road car arena, and while the car itself remains an ageless classic, the “quattro” name is also still used by Audi for its four-wheel drive system.
Features
This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 185mm, width: 79mm, height: 57mm.
Blister fenders and rear spoiler are recreated on this realistic rendering of the legendary 2-door coupe Audi quattro.
Authentic metaphors of the inline-5 engine, suspension and four-wheel drive system.
The interior features recreations of seats, dashboard, shifter and more. Decals are used for the seat patterns.
Treaded solid synthetic rubber tires.

$42.99
The Honda Prelude is a Japanese sports car that was first presented to the public in 1978. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 2001. During it, the model was manufactured only in the city of Sayama in Japan. In total, approx. 825 thousand jobs were created. cars of this model.
The Prelude model did not have a direct predecessor in the Honda Motor Company offer, but was developed and put into production in order to fight the market with cars such as Toyota Celica, Nissan Silvia and Mitsubishi Eclipse. The new car was based on many solutions used in the Accord and Civic models. Suffice it to say that the first generation of cars of this type was built on the platform of the Civic II models. This condition did not change until 1982, when the 2nd generation Honda Prelude appeared. Like the models mentioned above, Prelude had a chassis with a self-supporting body. During series production, the car was offered primarily as a 2-door coupe, and the range of engines included engines with a capacity of 1.6 to 2.3 liters.

Enjoying the Limelight
1970 was the year that the world was first greeted with Toyota's legendary Celica, and the car continued to innovate and impress through the domestic market's top spec Celica XX in 1978 and then the second generation Celica XX 2800GT (known as Celica Supra outside of Japan) from 1981. Sporting a 2.8-liter DOHC 6-cylinder engine and fitted with jazzy overfenders and roof spoiler in some export versions, the car was a frequent sight at racetracks; it was employed as the marshal car for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in 1982, complete with a BAE turbocharger and boosted output of 230hp that doubtless won the car even more admirers over the race weekend.
The breathtaking form of the car is captured in style, with separate parts provided to recreate the front and rear overfenders.
A combination of clear and metal-plated parts is employed to depict the light bar, with a separate part for the roof spoiler.
Moving headlights are another feature of the model, and can be secured in their popped up position if so desired.
This re-issue model kit recreates the classic Toyota Celica Supra from 1983, which depicts a special version of the Celica Supra that was used as the race marshal’s car in the 1982 Formula One race held in Long Beach, California, USA. Its tuned engine produced 230hp and a top speed of over 230km/h. The car made for a thrilling sight as it bombed around the circuit, thanks to over-sized fenders and a sporty rear spoiler!

Depictions of the roof-top lights, rear spoiler and exaggerated wheel fenders included.
Dedicated decals included.
Interior features separate seat parts and center console with individual gearshift and parking brake components.
Driver figure included.

Tamiya 24065 1/24 Porsche 959
$31.95
The Porsche 959 was first unveiled at the 1983 Frankfurt auto show as a study for a full time 4 wheel drive Group B super sports car. Back then, the automobile was still far from being completed and its potential a mystery. The 959's awesome capabilities matured through thorough research and competition experience with the automobile. It demonstrated its outstanding abilities during the grueling Paris-Dakar Rally, and the Le Mans 24 hour endurance race. Porsche has taken their race car technology and put it into the 959, to produce a car that provides every comfort, with smooth running and the low interior noise expected of a road car, while offering high safety reserves. Thus the 959, despite its massive 450hp engine power, can be drive easily at its lower RPM ranges. The 2848cc engine is a descendent of the famous 956 and 962 Porsche Group C racer. It is an air/liquid cooled, flat 6 cylinder, DOHC equipped with two turbochargers, providing a top speed of more than 300km/h. The 959 maintains superb acceleration under all driving conditions, yet it also achieves short braking distances that prove to be a reassuring factor for all classes of drivers. The hollow wheel spokes increase air volume to the brakes and accommodate the fat, low profile Dunlop Denloc tires, and is equipped with a pressure sensor to detect punctures. The Porsche 959 is the car that raised the standard of sports car thinking to a new plateau, by exceeding every known yardstick of handling and performance.
