The True Successor to the Mk.V The legendary Spitfire was the representative British fighter of WWII. Many variants were built and among these was the Mk.VIII, a variant developed to be the replacement for the RAF's previous mainstay Spitfire, the Mk.V. The Mk.VIII was fitted with a Rolls-Royce Merlin 60-series engine, larger radiators, and an air filter as standard. Other improvements included fuel tanks added in the wings, retractable tail wheel, shortened ailerons, and enlarged rudder and elevators. From the latter half of 1943, the Mk.VIII were deployed to the Mediterranean and Pacific Theaters and saw service with RAF, USAAF, RCAF, and RAAF units. Toyota developed this high-spec version of the sixth generation Celica with the aim of repeating in 1994 their global rally championship of the previous year. This layout configuration provides rear wheel drive handling excitement at every turn and exciting throttle response. The Porsche 911 RSR 2.8 The Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 is a legend of the Porsche 911 series. Developed to join European GT races in 1973, it employed a 2,687cc horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine capable of 210hp, a lightweight body with improved aerodynamics, and wide rear tires. The Carrera RSR 2.8 racing version increased displacement to 2,808cc and output to over 300hp; in 1973, it was a European GT race champion and took numerous global victories. BT-01 Chassis The 2WD BT-01 chassis gives the choice of two types of wheelbases, and front-or rear-wheel drive system. Without removing the battery pack, motor, and R/C equipment setups from the centre frame, simply change attachment directions of final gears and steering linkage to switch between front-and rear-wheel drive; front (FR) or midship rear (MR) motor position can be chosen for rear-wheel drive cars. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features symmetrical structure and friction dampers. Thanks to extensive research of the full-size subject, the B variant of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II model is poised to be the definitive model in 1/72 scale! Developed under the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program , the F-35 integrates multiple functions into its design and there are three types: the F-35A conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) aircraft, the F-35B short takeoff, vertical landing (STOVL), and the F-35C carrier takeoff and landing (CV). The F-35B was developed as a successor of the AV- 8B Harrier II. The F-35B is recognized as the aircraft which accomplished both supersonic flight and STOVL by the 3-bearing engine duct nozzle and lift fan, and following the F-35A, the F-35B deployment started in 2015. The first F-35B to see action was an aircraft belonging to the U.S. Marine Corps VMFA-211 “Wake Island Avengers” in Afghanistan, in September 2018. This model kit in 1/35 scale recreates the KS600 motorcycle & sidecar as used by German forces during World War II. During WWII, the German Army employed the powerful motorcycle for messenger and reconnaissance missions. The KS600 is one of the best- known in the 600cc class, as it featured lightweight, rigid pressed steel frames, plus a horizontally opposed 2-cylinder 597cc engine and 4-speed transmission. It was often used with a sidecar. Production started in 1938, and KS600 saw action from early until late WWII. 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 71mm, width: 47mm. Motorcycle The distinctive sections such as fork, frames, horizontally opposed engine and shaft drive are realistically rendered with the ergonomic parts breakdown.
