Introducing Surfacer 500, a large particle water-based surfacer that has been very popular! This revolutionary water-based surfacer series has less of a solvent smell and is safer, while also being able to fill in surface scratches and prepare the base before painting. Surfacer 500 has coarse particles and is suitable for filling large scratches and sealing wood. The surface has just the right amount of roughness, making it ideal as a base for brush painting. The bottle type can be used as is when using with a brush. When using with an airbrush, dilute 1:1 with water or water-based hobby color thinner (recommended).

After the first coat is completely dry, apply a second coat. TIP! Use T114 Mr. Paint Remover to remove paint from a surface. Clean the tools with Mr. COLOR THINNER or Mr. TOOL CLEANER. Mix approximately 5 to 10% of C30 Flat Base to convert gloss colors to a semi gloss finish, or 10 to 20% for a matt finish. Mr. HOBBY TOPCOAT and SUPER CLEAR can be applied over a coat of Mr. COLOR. Do a test paint before you apply paint on your model kit. ATTENTION Put the lid back on after use. Store in a cool and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight. Use in a well ventilated area.

The Scale Modellers Supply Premium Thinners have been specially formulated to work with the Premium range of SMS paints. Although the Premium paints are pre thinned, some environmental and personal choices may lead to adjustments of the thinning ratio using this product.

Tamiya Color Enamel Paints are used for brush or spray painting, and can be applied to almost any surface of wood, metal or plastic. Each bottle contains 10ml of paint. Ideal for hand brushing, these paints can also be used with an airbrush when thinned by adding 2 parts of thinner to 10 parts of paint. For best results use Tamiya Enamel Paint thinner.Important note: Never apply lacquer over enamel paints.

The Micro Coat finishes are more than just a pretty look. This is one tough finish, and a real breakthrough in a modern formulation of water reducible acrylic resin. For models that get a lot of handling this is the answer. Even the Micro Coat Flat and Micro Coat Satin continue to look like new after a great deal of handling. One of the main reasons for the Micro Coat finishes is that they are the ideal way to be sure that your Microscale Decals perform up to their potential for realism. Micro Coat Clear gives you a 'wet look' shine that replicates the new synthetic paint used on the real thing. It is also the answer for a glossy base necessary for decaling. All the Micro Coat Finishes use the same water clear acrylic resin, which is tough and flexible and adheres strongly to paint and plastic. It is rated to last at least twenty years under ordinary conditions, for models this should be forever.

Mr. Thinner is a thinner exclusively for Mr. Color. It can be used to dilute paint for brush painting or airbrushing, and to clean brushes and tools used. T103 and T104 are large-capacity plastic containers. These are convenient when diluting a large amount for airbrushing. In addition, it can be fitted with Mr. Spout Cap (3 pieces) for GT33 Thinner Large and Extra Large Bottles . Capacity: 250ml Note: Cannot be used to dilute paints other than Mr. Color Series and Mr. Metal Color. If Mr. Color has become very viscous in the bottle or has become very hard, please use T115 Mr. Color True Solvent to redissolve it. Mr. Color Thinner alone may not be able to redissolve it.

This surfacer gives parts a smooth finish and does not easily fill in molds. It is ideal for the final finishing before painting, or for the final finishing of figure prototypes. The black finishing surfacer is ideal as a base for black paint for metal and pearlescent paints. *The black finishing surfacer is not compatible with SM08 Plated Silver NEXT. It will not produce a beautiful mirror finish as is, so you will need to polish the surfacer or spray it with glossy black paint, or do other additional processing.
