The ZTZ100 is a 4th generation tank of the Chinese Army. Its weapons are housed in an unmanned turret, while the crew sits in the hull. This design is strongly reminiscent of the Russian T-14 Armata. 2207 M4A1 76(w) VVSS Late Production The M4 Sherman medium tank was the main battle tank of the United States during World War II. It was mass-produced and formed the backbone of the United States armored forces at the time. Several versions were produced. The first large-scale version was the M4A1, which featured a cast upper hull. It was armed with the 75mm cannon, which was replaced by the 76mm high-velocity cannon in the late A1 vehicles. Thanks to its Continental R975 gasoline engine, the tank performed well on and off-road.The Sherman was reliable and easy to produce in large numbers. It is equipped with two 45 mm and one 76 mm cannon, two 7.62 mm machine guns, 150 rounds of ammunition, all of the guns were placed behind a shield. 100 mm thick non-rotating turret, tank weight 45 tons, crew of 6 people. According to the instructions, KV-7 in December 1941 was sent to Moscow for review, the result is considered to be a failure, leaders tend flamethrower tank KV-8. Further development of the Challenger 1 by Vickers Defence Systems resulted in the Challenger 2 MBT, of which 386 have been ordered by the British Army, with deliveries running from 1994 through to 2,000. Oman has ordered 18 Challenger 2 MBTs. With the introduction of Challenger 2, all remaining Chieftain and Challenger 1 MBTs will be phased out of service with the British Army. Although similar in appearance to Challenger 1, the Challenger 2 MBT has many improvements including a brand new turret armed with the latest 120mm L30 rifled tank gun firing a new APFSDS-T (Armour Piercing Fin Discarding Sabot Tracer) projectile with a depleted uranium penetrator. Panzer III was the common name of a medium tank that was developed in the 1930s by Germany and was used extensively in World War II. The official German designation was Panzerkampfwagen III Sd Kfz. 141 (abbreviated PzKpfw III) translating as "armoured fighting vehicle". It was intended to fight other armoured fighting vehicles and serve alongside the support Panzer IV; however, as the Germans faced the formidable T-34, stronger anti-tank guns were needed. Since the Panzer IV had a bigger turret ring, the roles were reversed. The Panzer IV mounted the long barrelled 7.5 cm KwK 40 gun and engaged in tank-to-tank battles. The Panzer III became obsolete in this role and for most purposes was supplanted by the Panzer IV. From 1942, the last version of Panzer III mounted the 7.5 cm KwK 37 L/24, better suited for infantry support. Production of the Panzer III ended in 1943.
