Hasegawa 1/32 KI-43-II Haya...
$ PRICE IN PROGRESS!
In December 1937, the same month that the Nakajima Ki-27 fighter was officially adopted,the Army instructed Nakajima alone to prototype the next-generation fighter aircraft (Ki-43).
The first prototype was completed in December of the following year.Test flights revealed that while its maximum speed was about 30 km/h faster than the Type 97 fighter, its maneuverability was inferior, making it unsuitable as the next-generation fighter aircraft. Subsequently, various modifications were made , including changes to the wing area and engine replacements, and by September 1940, 13 aircraft (3 prototypes and 10 additional prototypes) were completed. However, they could not convince the military, which was obsessed with dogfighting. However, at that time, the General Staff believed that a long-range fighter aircraft was necessary to support the convoys in the invasion of Singapore . The Ki-43, which was on the verge of being deemed unsuitable, found a way to serve as a long-range fighter.

Hasegawa 1/350 IJN Destroye...
$ PRICE IN PROGRESS!
Shimakaze was literally one of a kind. This fast, heavily armed destroyer was Japan's test bed for a new type of propulsion system. Its steam turbine engines propelled it to 47 mph in test runs despite it carrying twice the guns and more sophisticated torpedoes than any other destroyer running. Japan had originally wanted to launch sixteen of these vessels, but the realities of war and limited production kept Shimakaze in a class all by herself.
This kit recreates the Shimakaze, a high-speed destroyer boasting the world's fastest speed of 40 knots at the time and equipped with three quintuple torpedo tubes, as it appeared in its final configuration in November 1944.
New parts have been added to represent the enhanced armament, includingthe triple 25mm machine guns added near the aft torpedo tubes, the Type 13 radar, and the additional single 25mm machine guns.
This kit pursues precision as a scale model while also featuring a new style of parts division that emphasizes accurate color reproduction through the use of colored parts. It achieves a quality that provides great satisfaction even when assembled without painting.
Features
Kit features display stand and full decals
Parts come molded in grey, gold (propellers), brown, clear, black and red

Hasegawa 1/48 J7W1 Shinden
$ PRICE IN PROGRESS!
The Kyushu J7W1 Shinden was Japan's first canard fighter, developed to intercept heavy bombers. The canard layout makes efficient use of internal space, allowing a compact fuselage. Because the canard produces lift, the main wing could be reduced in size, lowering weight and drag and offering advantages for high speed fighter design. A major feature was the ability to concentrate large caliber guns in the nose. Although the Shinden was highly anticipated, it did not see combat; the first prototype completed three flights totaling 45 minutes before the end of the war.
