Hasegawa 1/24 Subaru 360 Yo...
$ PRICE IN PROGRESS!
This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required.
Since its launch, the Subaru 360 has maintained its basic style without changing it. With its cute body style, it became affectionately known as the "ladybug," and as a pioneer of the private car era, it remains a memorable national car for many people.
In response to the national car concept presented by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in May 1955, Fuji Heavy Industries utilized its aircraft technology, inherited from the former Nakajima Aircraft Company, to create the Subaru 360.
The body features a monocoque structure, a first for a Japanese car, resulting in a rational and unique style. It boasts a spacious interior that comfortably accommodates four adults, easy handling, a light and agile ride, and excellent fuel economy, all while eliminating unnecessary elements and pursuing ultimate functionality.
Since its official announcement in March 1958, the vehicle has seen an increase in variations due to the diversification of various needs. In August 1959, a convertible model was released to coincide with the arrival of the leisure era, followed by a commercial in December of the same year for a combined passenger and cargo vehicle. In September 1961, the Deluxe model was derived from the Standard model, and the Super Deluxe, with even more equipment, was born.
The Young SS, released in November 1968, was a coveted model for young people at a time when kei cars were becoming increasingly powerful. The Subaru 360 has a cumulative production total of 500,000 units, making it a masterpiece and representative of Japanese kei cars.

$ PRICE IN PROGRESS!
In December 1937, the same month that the Nakajima Ki-27 fighter was officially adopted,the Army instructed Nakajima alone to prototype the next-generation fighter aircraft (Ki-43).
The first prototype was completed in December of the following year.Test flights revealed that while its maximum speed was about 30 km/h faster than the Type 97 fighter, its maneuverability was inferior, making it unsuitable as the next-generation fighter aircraft. Subsequently, various modifications were made , including changes to the wing area and engine replacements, and by September 1940, 13 aircraft (3 prototypes and 10 additional prototypes) were completed. However, they could not convince the military, which was obsessed with dogfighting. However, at that time, the General Staff believed that a long-range fighter aircraft was necessary to support the convoys in the invasion of Singapore . The Ki-43, which was on the verge of being deemed unsuitable, found a way to serve as a long-range fighter.

Shimakaze was literally one of a kind. This fast, heavily armed destroyer was Japan's test bed for a new type of propulsion system. Its steam turbine engines propelled it to 47 mph in test runs despite it carrying twice the guns and more sophisticated torpedoes than any other destroyer running. Japan had originally wanted to launch sixteen of these vessels, but the realities of war and limited production kept Shimakaze in a class all by herself.
This kit recreates the Shimakaze, a high-speed destroyer boasting the world's fastest speed of 40 knots at the time and equipped with three quintuple torpedo tubes, as it appeared in its final configuration in November 1944.
New parts have been added to represent the enhanced armament, includingthe triple 25mm machine guns added near the aft torpedo tubes, the Type 13 radar, and the additional single 25mm machine guns.
This kit pursues precision as a scale model while also featuring a new style of parts division that emphasizes accurate color reproduction through the use of colored parts. It achieves a quality that provides great satisfaction even when assembled without painting.
Features
Kit features display stand and full decals
Parts come molded in grey, gold (propellers), brown, clear, black and red
