The latest version of the Ingram from "Mobile Police Patlabor," the AV-98 Ingram Unit 1, has now been renewed under the supervision of Yutaka Izubuchi, and returns to Aoshima's model-kit lineup together with the Type 98 Special Command Vehicle! The sealing covers on various parts of the Ingram are made of plastic parts with a realistic design, and when combined with the built-in joints, you can recreate various scenes from the movie! The Ingram's leg hatches and cockpit hatch can be expanded without parts replacement, and the cockpit seat can be raised and lowered, so you can place the figure of pilot Noa Izumi inside. In addition to the revolver cannon and extended stun stick, five types of interchangeable hands are available. The calf storage hatch can be opened and closed, and the revolver cannon can be stored inside; the head shutter and retractable patrol lamp can also be reproduced with parts replacement. The Type 98 Special Command Vehicle is very compact yet boasts high mobility, and its distinctive body is realistically sculpted; the figure of Yuma Shinohara can be placed inside, too. A BEL-1999 Cardia guard robot of the same scale is included too, for display in combination with the Ingram and the command vehicle. This model kit snaps together and does not require glue for completion; the parts are molded in color, and the markings are reproduced with waterslide decals.
