Aoshima has promised an all-new 1/24 plastic kit of the 1989 Australia Rally version of the "Group A" Toyota Celica GT-Four turbo in the September 2013 time frame. Stock number is listed as 081198. The driver for this Rally was Finn Juha Kankkunen. Interior looks to be well represented with appropriate roll cage, driver and navigator seat with other appropriate mods. No indication if this will be a curbside or full engine kit. Toyota used the same AWD Celicas in both 1988 and 1989 so it is a good bet. Aoshima's kit of the MFS-3 Type 3 Kiryu from "Godzilla x Mechagodzilla" was designed from original concepts by Shinji Nishikawa, who was in charge of design work for the film! Parts are molded in color so painting is not required (although as with just about any other kit, it'll look even more amazing with some paint), and they snap together so glue is not necessary. It features posability after assembly, and includes leg verniers, a knife that can extend from its arm and red eyes to reproduce its appearance in the "runaway" scene! To commemorate the 45th anniversary of the release of the Toei film "Truck Yaro Ichibanboshi," the Boukyo Ichibanboshi is now an RC vehicle from Aoshima! Its lighting, radio control equipment, and electronic circuits have all been renewed and updated to improve quality; various Andon letters and stickers are included too. There are four types of sounds: engine start, V8 running, back buzzer and trumpet. The speed control has also evolved; stable driving has been achieve using radio waves in the 2.4GHz band. Requires ten AA batteries (six for the main vehicle and four for the transmitter).  This is a injection plastic and metal radio or remote-controlled car model.
