T-34 was a Soviet medium tank developed at the turn of the 30s and 40s of the 20th century, which had a major and lasting impact on the design of tanks. It had an unprecedented combination of firepower, mobility, protection and robustness. His 76.2 mm rapid-fire tank cannon provided significantly higher firepower than some of his contemporaries' designs had. While its sloping armor made it difficult for them to penetrate state-of-the-art anti-tank weapons. At the end of 1943, the first 300 T-34/85 tanks were produced. His armament was the D5-T cannon, which was used in IS-1, KV-85 tanks and SU-85 self-propelled guns. Due to problems with the supply of these cannons, S-53 cannons were mounted in T-34 tanks from March 1944 and ZIS S-53 (L / 53) from the summer, both caliber 85 mm. The secondary armament of the tank were two machine guns DT 7.62 mm caliber, one in the tower, the other at the head of the hull. The diesel engine V-2-34 with an output of 500 HP was used. The chassis consisted on each side of a tension wheel at the front, a drive wheel at the rear and five large travel wheels, which were mounted on trailing arms. In 1944, 10,647 pieces were produced and in 1945 12,551 pieces of T-34/85. Model construction kit of the legendary Soviet tank from World War II. The SLT 50 is a heavy duty tractor unit and tank transporter used by the German Army and Polish Army. To replace the first generation tank transporter then in use, as well as to be able to haul the armoured vehicles then in service (among them the Leopard 1 Main Battle Tank), the German Army asked Faun GmbH to develop a new all-terrain heavy tractor, and in parallel Krupp was asked to develop the tank transport semi-trailer. The result was the SLT 50-2 tractor and the 52-ton SaAnh semi-trailer. The combination was first tested in 1971. The first production combination was delivered in April 1976. Some 324 were built up to 1979, in one series, by Faun (tractor) and Kässbohrer (trailer, under Krupp license). Model kit consisting of the SLT 50-3 "Elefant" and Leopard 2A4.
