While carrying out transport missions, it was torpedoed twice by American submarines, but both attacks failed to detonate, allowing the ship to survive. However, in May 1945, it was sunk due to an aerial bombing. This kit faithfully recreates the special-purpose seaplane tender "Kunikawa Maru" in 1/700 scale as a plastic model kit. The well-structured parts layout ensures simple assembly while maintaining accuracy.
