The Mary Rose was a carrack-type warship of the English Tudor Navy of King Henry VIII. After serving for 33 years in several wars against France, Scotland, and Brittany she saw her last action on 19 July 1545. While leading the attack on the galleys of a French invasion fleet, she sank in the Solent. The dual control BAe Hawk T. Mk.1 is the RAF's advanced trainer and has been used by the Red Arrows since 1979. The aircraft is essentially the same as those flown by RAF Advanced Training Students with the exception of the smoke generators and a slightly uprated engine giving a faster response time to changes of power setting. The Tornado F3 was developed as an interceptor version of the multi-role Tornado. Replacing the Lightning and Phantom in RAF service, the Tornado served the RAF as a front line interceptor for over 25 years, finally being reitred in March 2011 and replaced by the Eurofighter Typhoon. The English Electric Lightning was a supersonic jet fighter aircraft of the Cold War era, noted for its great speed. It is the only all-British Mach 2 fighter and was the first aircraft in the world capable of cruising at Mach+ speeds. It could also carry the awesome Firestreak missile.Includes Paints Glues Brushes Decals English Electric Lightning is a British twin-engine supersonic fighter plane. The flight of the F.1 version took place in 1960, and the F.2 four years later. Lightning is characterized by an unusual arrangement of engines - vertically one above the other. The very unusual wing contour and the lack of wing flaps are also unique. It was powered by two 7,260 daN Rolls-Royce Avon 302 engines with afterburning. The prototype of the serial Lightning was the machine marked as P.1B. From 1960, i.e. shortly after the final version was flown, the machine began to be delivered to RAF squadrons. In total, 338 machines of this type were created in six different versions (interceptor-F.1 and F.1A, fighter-bomber-F.53 and training-combat-T.4, T.5, T.55). The plane did not manage to interest any of the European recipients, but it was exported to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The RAF Lightning units were released in the 1980s. These planes were equipped with the Ferranti AI Mk 23 Aispass radar, and the main armament was Firestreak or Red Top air-to-air missiles with the IR system and two 30mm cannons.

The Jaguar XKR GT3 is the racing version of the road going Jaguar XKR. The Sea King HAR. 3 is a modified Search and Rescue (SAR) variant of the Westland Sea King, entering service in 1978 as a replacement for the Westland Whirlwind HAR.10. It first saw operation with the RAF in 1982 and was later manufactured by Westland for the Royal Norwegian Air Force, the Belgian Air Force and the German Navy. In 1992 six upgraded HAR.3As were ordered for the RAF, fitted with a digital navigation system and improved avionics. The HAR. 3 would endure as a proficient SAR Sea King, providing around-the-clock SAR cover across the UK and Falkland Islands. The Mk3 Sea King left RAF service in 2016, although the Mk7 is expected to remain in Royal Navy service until 2018. The Ford 3 litre GT was designed in late 1967 to Group 6 sports car regulations and was built to use the extremely successful Ford Cosworth 3 litre V8 engine developed for Formula 1 racing. This engine delivered over 400 b.h.p. and in the low futuristic body with its small frontal area, speeds of 200 m.p.h. could be attained. 1968 was treated solely as a development year as the Fords took part in several European race meetings.
