Background information
The ARC-170 starfighter was the Republic's heaviest workhorse during the Clone Wars. Built by the Incom Corporation, it is considered the direct technological predecessor of the legendary T-65 X-wing. Unlike the light TIE fighters or Jedi interceptors, the ARC-170 was designed for long-range missions and deep penetrations into enemy territory. Its massive armament and three-man crew made it a formidable opponent.
