Ergonomic Design
Weight distribution, switch placement and trim switch positions have been optimized for comfort and fatigue-free control. An integrated handle and neck strap hook are included for easy carrying. The SRXL2 DSMX Remote Receiver (available separately) is required for wireless trainer support. Registration and firmware updating are possible from your PC by downloading the software from the DXS product page at SpektrumRC.com and using the USB Programming Cable (available separately).
Flight Pack Voltage Monitor
Get essential flight battery status information at a glance from the DXS transmitter when using it with Smart Avian ESCs and Smart LiPo batteries (sold separately). Four green LEDs on the front of the transmitter communicate the flight battery voltage level. In normal operation with a Smart ESC and Smart battery, only one of the LEDs will glow if the battery is low. Two illuminate to indicate a half-charged battery, three light if the battery is between half and full charge, and all four shine when the flight battery is fully charged.

Note: The SPM9747 DSMX SRXL2 Remote Receiver is not compatible with receivers that use 3-wire remote receivers. The main receiver unit must be compatible with a 4-wire SRXL2 remote receiver. The SPM9747 is only compatible with receivers that feature SRXL2 such as the AR637T and AR6610T receivers.

The AR631+ features fly-by range telemetry and a bind button that makes it easy to bind with no plugs necessary and offers both SmartSafe technology and Hold Last as well as preset failsafe types set through forward programming. A long 230mm 2.4gHz antenna, perfect for getting optimal reception when installed into tight spaces. The AR631+ also features Smart Telemetry support.
With Smart Technology the normal servo connector delivers the throttle signal to the ESC, plus the ESC can send telemetry data like voltage and current back to the receiver. The AR631+ receiver throttle port (Channel 1 port only) will automatically detect when a Smart compatible ESC is connected. ESCs with Smart and IC series connectors can also pass along battery data from compatible Spektrum Smart batteries. Spektrum Avian™ ESCs are compatible with the AR631+ receiver for Smart Technology features.
For Smart to function you must have a Smart ESC paired with a Smart telemetry receiver, and a Spektrum DSMX transmitter with telemetry. An update for your transmitter may be required for Smart features. Visit spektrum.com to register and update your transmitter. If a standard ESC or servo is plugged into the throttle port on the AR631+ receiver, the throttle port will operate normally (PWM signal) like any conventional RC system.

Long 230mm 2.4GHz Antenna
The AR631+ features an extra-long 230mm 2.4ghz antenna (approximately 9 inches), specifically engineered for use in tight installations. When installing your receiver into an aircraft where there is less then ideal space away from batteries and other devices, a long antenna is key. This allows users to install the receiver in tight spaces and isolate the antenna for optimal reception and link quality. When positioning your antenna, it is best to have it at least 75mm ( approximately 3 inches) away from batteries, electronic speed controls (ESC), ignition systems, and other electronic devices. Use the integrated flight log telemetry to perform a through range test to better evaluate your setup.
Forward Programming
You can configure the AR631+ receiver wirelessly, directly from any compatible Spektrum™ transmitter, through the Forward Programming menu. No separate computer or mobile device is needed for setup and adjustments.

The Spektrum™ AR630+ 6 Channel AS3X+ Receiver is a DSM2® and DSMX® capable receiver with a compact footprint to fit in a wide range of aircraft. The AR630+ is a full-range 6-channel receiver with built-in AS3X+® and SAFE® stabilization. The all-new AS3X+ stabilization algorithm creates better flight performance, improved sensor accuracy and data rate, and provides pilots with a generationally different feel compared to AS3X. There is no delay in control response or limits on control throws. You’ll simply feel like you’re flying an expertly tuned model that does exactly what you want.
*Please note – Using this receiver in turbine-powered aircraft models is not recommended
The AR630+ features fly-by-range telemetry, a bind button for easy binding with no plugs necessary, SmartSafe technology, Hold Last, and preset failsafe types set through Forward Programming. It also features Smart Telemetry support and Smart Throttle support. Additionally, Smart Model Files allow BNF models to be stored on the receiver to automatically set the model at bind.
With Smart Technology, the normal servo connector delivers the throttle signal to the ESC, and the ESC sends telemetry data like voltage and current back to the receiver. The AR630+ receiver throttle port (Channel 1 port only) will automatically detect when a Smart-compatible ESC is connected. ESCs with Smart and IC series connectors can also pass along battery data from compatible Spektrum Smart batteries. Spektrum Avian ESCs are compatible with the AR630+ receiver for Smart Technology features.
For Smart to function, you must have a Smart ESC paired with a Smart Telemetry receiver and a Spektrum DSMX transmitter with telemetry. An update for your transmitter may be required for Smart features. See www.spektrumrc.com to register and update your transmitter. If a standard ESC or servo is plugged into the throttle port on the AR630+ receiver, the throttle port will operate normally (PWM signal) like any conventional RC system.

SMART TRANSMITTER MODEL FILES SUPPORT
Smart Transmitter Model Files is a new feature on the AR630+ receiver that makes transmitter programming the easiest it has ever been. It consists of a set of transmitter configuration parameters stored within the receiver's model file. When binding to a receiver containing one of these model files, the user will be prompted to download the model file and overwrite the currently selected transmitter model with the one stored on the receiver. This will provide the user with an easy and simple way to acquire a transmitter model setup for their BNF model without the need to set it up themselves or search for and download the corresponding model online.
Note: Supported transmitters currently are the iX20, iX14, and NX transmitters with the latest firmware updates.

The AR630+ features fly-by telemetry and will send vital telemetry data such as current, voltage, temperature, and RPM directly to your transmitter. However, it is not compatible with Spektrum telemetry sensors.
