Introducing the new water-based Mr. Hobby Marker Series! The first release features water-based metallic colors that can be used for panel lining without affecting the underlying surface or material. These markers are perfect for adding metallic details to fine parts or for creating one-of-a-kind accents. Additionally, you can achieve weathering effects by using a blending pen (CM-100) to blend the colours seamlessly.

This formula acrylic colours with a satin finish, extra resistant and impact proof especially designed for airbrushing surfaces exposed to aggressive manipulation. The advanced formulation contains a revolutionary component which guarantees exceptional adherence on even the most difficult surfaces, and offers great resistance to rough handling, impact, friction, scratches, etc. Once dry, the Mecha surface looks the same as the original plastic of the model, while yet the smallest details of the original remain clearly visible. The colour range includes primers as well as special varnishes - also with an exclusive formulation- and a series of colours for aging and weathering effects. It is recommended to apply the Mecha colours in several layers on the previously primed surface; a few hours after application the colours will have dried to form a homogenous coating of extraordinary strength and resistance. Mecha Colour can be airbrushed directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver, and the colours can also be applied by brush. The compressor adjustment recommended is 15 - 20 PSI o 0.5 to 1 kg. For best airbrush maintenance we recommend using the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.Mecha Colour is not flammable, and does not contain solvents.

Standard camouflage color introduced by the Luftwaffe in 1941; used for lower and upper surfaces of fighters, heavy fighters and night fighters until the end of World War II.

Updated Bottle - Now 18ml!!!We have introduced a new formulation that will surprise you with its amazing brushability, excellent opacity and superb matt finish.You will notice that the colors dry quickly, forming a homogeneous and self-leveling layer that respects the smallest detail present in your model. In fact, we recommend applying them on a previously primed surface.Packaging: Model Color is presented in bottles of 18 ml/0.6 fl oz with eyedropper. This packaging prevents the paint from evaporating and drying in the container, so that It can be used in minimal quantities and preserved for a long time.

Aqueous Hobby Color is a paint line newly reformulated in 2020 and aimed to be a safer paint with a higher degree of user friendliness. Aqueous Hobby Color paint is water based, which means you will never run out of thinner/reducer – you can use regular water. Tool cleanup is also easier as you can use water. Aqueous Hobby Color paint does contain a mild solvent in it which helps a lot with the adhesion. Leveling capabilities of this paint are high, it provides a glossy finish with a light texture, creating an excellent paint finish.Gloss levels of the Aqueous paint can be adjusted using additives H-40 Flat Base can be mixed with any color and make the paint semi-gloss or even matte/flat. Mix ratio between 5% and 10% is recommended. Mr. Aqueous Hobby Colors are ready for a regular brush application. They are also airbrush friendly; however, it is recommended to reduce it before use with an airbrush. As we mentioned earlier, regular water can be used as a reducer, but for the best result we recommend using Mr. Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner (T-110 or T-111). Up to 150% of the reducer can be added to Aqueous paint for airbrush use. When spraying paints with an airbrush, 2-3 coats are recommended. For regular brush use 1-2 coats is enough. If painting a light color over a darker base surface, more layers of paint may be required.
