Surface Primer is available in a range of basic shades most frequently employed to prepare the surface of the model or miniature before starting the painting process. Primers can be applied on all surfaces, resin, PVC, brass, white metal or wood. The primer preserving even the smallest detail of a model, and improves the adherence of the colors applied on this base. It is recommended to apply the Primer in various layers; the product dries rapidly and forms a homogenous film of extraordinary strength and resistance within a few hours after application. Surface Primer can be used directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner of Flow Improver. The recommended compressor settings are around 15-20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. For best maintenance of the airbrush, it is recommended to use the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner. Safety: Always follow the information on the product label. Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, reaction mass of 5-chloro- 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1). May produce an allergic reaction. Packaging: Available in 17 ml/0.57 fl oz bottles (with eyedropper) and in larger sizes of 60 ml/2.02 fl oz and 200 ml/6.76 fl oz (with flip top and eyedropper).

Matt acrylic colors, water-based and especially formulated for airbrushing. The Model Air color range contains the most complete selection of the military colors used in recent history, including the colors of WWI, WWII and up to the present. Each color is based on extensive research by our experts of the existing and previous military references so as to offer the modeler the highest possible historical accuracy. Model Air is used directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prime the surface, and then apply Model Air in several layers. The colors dry very rapidly and form a homogenous paint film of extraordinary resistance while preserving even the smallest detail of the model. For airbrushing these colors, the compressor air pressure is recommended at 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can of course also be applied with a brush. For correct airbrush maintenance we recommend using the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner. Packaging prevents the paint from evaporating and drying in the container, so that It can be used in minimal quantities and preserved for a long time.
