Matt acrylic colors, water-based and especially formulated for airbrushing. The Model Air color range contains the most complete selection of the military colors used in recent history, including the colors of WWI, WWII and up to the present. Each color is based on extensive research by our experts of the existing and previous military references so as to offer the modeler the highest possible historical accuracy. Model Air is used directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prime the surface, and then apply Model Air in several layers. The colors dry very rapidly and form a homogenous paint film of extraordinary resistance while preserving even the smallest detail of the model. For airbrushing these colors, the compressor air pressure is recommended at 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can of course also be applied with a brush. For correct airbrush maintenance we recommend using the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner. Permanent and very resistant varnish. Dries to touch in one hour. For application of two coats of varnish, we recommend an interval of 24 hours. Can be used directly with brush or airbrush of needle size 0.4 mm without dilution. Clean up with soap and water. Safety: Always follow the information on the product label. HOW TO APPLY Mr. COLOR Apply 1 to 2 coats if painting with a paint brush, or 2 to 3 coats if airbrushing. After applying a coat of Mr. COLOR, let it dry for a few hours. After the first coat is completely dry, apply a second coat. TIP! Use T114 Mr. Paint Remover to remove paint from a surface. Clean the tools with Mr. COLOR THINNER or Mr. TOOL CLEANER. Mix approximately 5 to 10% of C30 Flat Base to convert gloss colors to a semi gloss finish, or 10 to 20% for a matt finish. Mr. HOBBY TOPCOAT and SUPER CLEAR can be applied over a coat of Mr. COLOR. Do a test paint before you apply paint on your model kit. ATTENTION Put the lid back on after use. Store in a cool and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight. Use in a well ventilated area.

Metal Color is the innovative range of metallic colors with a water-based formulation, which uses aluminium pigments in its production. The Metal Color range offers a wide range of shades in order to imitate the metallic finish of aircraft of all types and eras. Of exceptional brightness and extraordinary power of reflection, it allows the modeler to carry out the full range of painting techniques without the need to resort to enamels and lacquers. It can be applied directly to the model using an airbrush or diluted with our Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. Metal Color dries very quickly, maintaining the smallest details present on the model and forming a homogeneous and self-leveling layer of extraordinary resistance a few hours after application. Metal Color can be tinted directly in the airbrush cup using colors from the Model Air or Game Air ranges. It can also be applied with a brush. Recommended compressor settings for our colors are around 15-20 Psi or 0.5-1 kg. It is advisable, in the case of airframes and aircraft model components, to apply Gloss Black Primer, available in 60 ml/2.02 fl oz bottles (ref. 73.660) and 200 ml/6.76 fl oz (ref. 74.660) with hinge cap and dropper, to enhance the special characteristics of the aluminium shades. Metal Color dries very quickly, but it is advisable to wait 12 hours after application before applying any paint masks. Also available is Gloss Metal Varnish in 60 ml/2.02 fl oz bottles (ref. 26.657) with hinged cap and dropper. For proper maintenance of the airbrush, we recommend using Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner. Safety: Always follow the information on the product label. Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, reaction mass of 5-chloro- 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1). May produce an allergic reaction. Packaging:Available in 32 ml/1.08 fl oz bottles with a hinged cap and eyedropper closure. Includes stainless steel stirring ball to improve paint mixing.

Tamiya Color Enamel Paints are used for brush or spray painting, and can be applied to almost any surface of wood, metal or plastic. Each bottle contains 10ml of paint. Ideal for hand brushing, these paints can also be used with an airbrush when thinned by adding 2 parts of thinner to 10 parts of paint. For best results use Tamiya Enamel Paint thinner.Important note: Never apply lacquer over enamel paints.
